I absolutely loved the dessert trolley. There is an excellent wine list. The service is impeccable. It is pricey but worthwhile to visit while in Basel.

I feel that it is totally worth it especially if you're a tourist and really want to soak in some of the best sites of the city. The restaurant has a very romantic vibe so it would be great for a date, dinner with friends or family, or something more social versus a business location. Our server was extremely polite and all around there was top-notch five star service. Everything that we ordered came out pretty fast and to say that they were very attentive would be an understatement. I started off my meal with a really nice glass of Bordeaux and it really got my hunger going for what was ahead. For my starter I chose the Saumon Marine which is basically a Salmon Crudo and I thought it was great. It was light and refreshing and woke up my taste buds for my entrée, which was the Sole Meunière. I've had this dish many times in my life at many different locations and this was one of the better ones I've had in a long time. It was made perfectly and the flavors lasted throughout the rest of the night. I would highly recommend ordering it and I also would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was one of our more memorable moments of our time in Basel.

Went to celebrate my birthday and it gave royalty from making the reservation to my exit. I was greeted by David, who was extremely kind and pulled out my chair like a gentleman, for me to have a view of all the action (people watching). First dish were three oysters and veal. It was my first time having the veal and David assured me it would be great and that, it was. Next, was the selection of some mocktails (a ginger based beverage and a sparkling rose minus the alcohol) which were two excellent choices with great price points. Next, the main course. I had the fish with potatoes, mini tomatoes and spinach. That was also a 10/10. The dessert was a great close to the experience and I went with the crème brulee. It was excellent! And let me not forget about the fresh bread and butter. It was all so good and the staff were phenomenal; every single one of them. I loved the experience and cannot wait to be back in Basel. That'll be my spot to dine for sure. You're welcome and enjoy!

I have yet to properly dine there but it is a great place to sit down and have a glass of wine or a coffee, especially during the day (weekday) when it's really quiet.
