To start, you can no longer schedule service through the Toyota App. Because of this change, I had to call and make an appointment the old-fashioned way--by actually speaking to someone on the phone--just to schedule an oil change. For comparison, Reichard Chevrolet offers a Fast Pass oil change with no appointment necessary. I arrived today at 6:45 AM for my 7:00 AM appointment and waited for the doors to open. As usual, check-in was done using a pen, paper, and manually writing down VIN numbers and damage notes. This process feels outdated, especially when dealerships like McCluskey Chevrolet have been using automated check-in technology for over a decade--and they offer free snacks, drinks, Apple workstations, and a dedicated lounge. When asked if I planned to wait for my vehicle, I said yes. Josh told me it would take about an hour. My vehicle was finally ready at 8:20 AM. Then came the bill: $93.39 for a basic oil change. When I asked why the price was so high, Josh explained that prices had increased a couple of months ago. It seems like everyone is jumping on the "tariff" excuse to justify higher pricing. For context: On 06/17/25, I paid $79.54 for the same service--before the name change. On 09/18/25, an oil change at Joseph Airport Toyota was $80.62, and they include free coffee and donuts. The price increase alone is frustrating, but the addition of hidden fees--like a "Document Storage Fee"--makes it even worse. And while coffee is free, you'll pay $1.75 for a single Pop-Tart. Overall, the combination of rising prices, outdated processes, and declining customer experience makes it hard to justify coming here when other dealerships offer better service, better amenities, and lower prices. You could save $12.77 by visiting Joseph Airport Toyota, and enjoy a more modern experience while you're there.

He was patient with me as we waiting for one of the financial officers to replace their printer so I could read through the deal thoroughly before signing. They did not add any gimmicky add-ons to the deal and honored their original quote, which was to simply drive it off the lot as-is. Additionally, he gave me a voucher to bring the car back to have the headlights buffed and cleared for no additional charge. I do not enjoy car shopping and Randy helped make it a painless process.

Since we are no longer in Cleveland and close to where we bought the car, we were directed to Jeff Schmitt South. This would easily be a 5 star review had I not had to call back twice. The first time I called was in November of 2014 to set up an appointment. The guy that answered the phone asked for the recall numbers, well I didn't know what those were and he proceeded to tell me that they should just be on the sheet you received in the mail. I couldn't find them anywhere and asked if I could just give him my husband's VIN number to see what recalls needed done. He rudely said no and "oh, by the way we are booked up until February" then transferred me to some lady who had no clue why I was being transferred. She then tried to put me in touch with a place in Xenia, which is 30 minutes away from me to set me up with an appointment, but never got a call back, like she stated I would. I waited until after Christmas and New Years and called back the first week of January. The lady I spoke with was very nice and explained exactly how many numbers I should be looking for on my paper and where they were located. She also was able to get me in a little over a week later to get the recalls fixed. When I mentioned what the guy told me, she apologized and said your probably got one of the lazy mechanic who didn't want to do anything. Drop off and pickup was very easy and everything was fixed that we needed. The last lady that I spoke with and how nice the people at the service center where saved them from getting a terrible review. A tip I could give Jeff Schmitt, would be to make sure all your staff is trained on customer service if they are going to be handle the phones and speaking with potential customers.

These are just a few words to describe this "business". Both the cars this place have sold me have been junk. When I took them in for service I was charged a hefty fee for a diagnostic. So I had to pay them to tell me what was wrong with the car they sold me. I should have known this place was shady when Steve V left it.

It had been a few months since I had driven my car, when in doing so warning lights started illuminating. Unfortunately, I was nearly an hour from home; fortunately, I was only a couple of miles from RR. Jerry and the couple of service techs were very helpful when I popped in on them in a mild panic. While simultaneously talking me off the ledge were they able to attend to the couple of issues necessary to get me safely back on the road. In the couple of times I've had to have my car serviced (both planned and UNplanned), this group has been nothing short of professional and highly service-oriented. Highly recommend.

I just had a couple of questions... So I filled out the form on their website. I entered my questions and even included the vehicle VIN (I wanted to be sure they knew which vehicle I was interested in). The first email arrived! The salesperson said that they had not opened yet, but said I would be "my top priority when I return to the office". Also, they mentioned "We're going to work very hard to earn your business!" YAY!! An hour later a second email appeared. They were open! Oddly, it was a different person than the first contact. Oh well, no worries. This person assured me "We have received your request for information and we will be contacting you shortly." Okay, I would wait, I guess. Another hour, another email. At least it was the same person as the first email. They wrote: "We look forward to assisting you; what question's can we answer for you or additional information could we provide?" (sic) What? I had already asked the questions. They had already assured me they were getting the information for me. Now we were back at the beginning? Did they even read my first email? And who makes "question" plural by adding an apostrophe??? I emailed back, stating that I only needed to know what was in my first email. And I waited. And waited. But they never got back to me. Nothing. I checked the links in their emails. Their main site was "Not Secure" according to my browser. I searched again for the answers to my questions in their listing, but they had no detailed information listed. I don't think I want to buy a "luxury" vehicle from a company who can't read, can't get back to me, can't secure their own site, and (most of all) can't make a simple word plural. I'm honestly not sure if they even want to be in business.
