I booked a move out clean over a month in advance. I received an email a few days before to confirm the day and time but no one showed up. I called a few times and no answer, I emailed and texted but no response until 2 hours after the agreed start time and the only response was a text to ask which address I was asking about. The worst. These people are live bodies and that is about it. When you have the same people come 3 weeks in a row to 'clean' your residential home...and the garbage bin in the bathroom keep getting more full, cobwebs everywhere, quick wipe of the exposed surfaces...nothing moved. We ordered a cleaning for my mothers' place. The cleaning was great but my wife and I had to pay double. We handed them cash when the job was over but then later they sent us a bill for another $107.00. I emailed them back and said that I already paid. They said they had no record of it so I would have to pay again. I refused to pay again and they literally threatened to send my bill to a collections agency. So I paid again and this time I took pictures so they couldn't screw us over again. These are obviously shifty workers who don't report that they were handed the money... or they owner is shifty because of charging double. I would recommend that you use a different cleaning company. read more

I hired this service to clean my house when I was preparing to sell it. The cleaners arrived late and did a substandard job. When I discussed this matter with the owner, she agreed to a fee reduction, so I paid and considered the matter closed. Later, I found that the owner had claimed that I had not paid the fee and reported this to a collection agency. I have had to go back through numerous bank records to finally prove that I paid for this less than stellar service. read more

The cleaner was late, and was really bad at their job. I have to clean again after they cleaned, they didn't clean the bottom of anything or any surface under kitchen bottles/chairs/bed/small mats. And for the floor near table legs/walls, they also didn't clean, it's like the cleaner was only pushing the dirty things on the floor to the little crack between wall and floor. I wanted a cleaning person to clean the corners and the little gaps I cannot clean well myself but apparently their cleaner also didn't know how to clean those places. I doubt that they even try to clean the difficult places. I don't understand how can they charge 32+GST per hour for such poor service. read more

Not impressed with the job they did about a month ago on on our vacation rental. Showed up an hour late so couldn't possibly do a good job in the time they had. Crumbs were found by vacation renters on the carpet that should have been thoroughly vacuumed. I actually feel scammed. I'm still not sure if this is a legit cleaning company. I hired a cleaner for 3 hours as most of the house had already been cleaned. The person showed up late without a broom, mop or vacume. Just a saggy black garbage bag with a few things inside. I asked for 12 venetian blinds to be dusted and wiped, the oven (which had already done self clean, and was pretty good) to be wiped and finished, and the kitchen floors to be swept and washed. The cleaner didn't touch any blinds, didn't do anything with the floors (again showed up at my house without a broom, mop or vacuum), and the oven I *think* was wiped out. I was in the backyard working on other move-out stuff and for about 2 hours I could see her through the window standing at the sink I think she must have just been on her phone the whole time. I'm pretty sure she was LITERALLY doing no cleaning inside. read more

They came to do a deep clean this weekend. Unfortunately, the cleaning was very poor. They didn't vacuum under the beds, there was dirt under the sink, the window were dirty , the blinder with dust. The washroom wasn't sealed and the bath tub needed a bit more cleaning. I vacuum the place again and there was dirt. If they did a good job, I was hoping to hired them regularly. Not good at all. I was so disappointed. This was the first time i had hired a cleaning company and i would not recommend Kyla cleaning to anyone at all. Absolutely terrible cleanjng job. I had to put in a full 2 hours with myself and a second person. This was a 540 sq.ft. condo, a move out clean. Not a single thing was cleaned properly. I was billet for 4 hours cleaning and know they left after 1.5 hours. I had given the man a tip(quite large) knowing how hard things are right now and i feel absolutely robbed. read more

Kyla Kleaning was awful not to mention one of their workers ate food from our fridge, stole money from the owner, (our payment), arrived late, one day didn't even show up, and before I knew all of the theft occurring this company tried to do a good job three different times until I finally said "you know what, I think that you cannot provide the kind of work we are looking for." They tried to offer a free cleaning after we said we no longer wanted them on our house but, by this time we had given them three different attempts and they had eaten from our fridge. If that wasn't bad enough after we paid months ago for their poor cleaning services once covid hit they tried to get money from us all of a sudden almost a year later stating that we never paid them! They said we owed three different amounts, their office is a mess, they even tried to send this to collections!!! Thank god I have all the email communication between us and they are now under investigation. read more

I admit I don't communicate my negative feedback as much as I should--I loathe complaining. However, I knew after a few visits that this company wouldn't work for me, despite the fact that the cleaning was good. First off I had my husband stay home from work so that he explain and demonstrate instructions to the cleaner about how to shut off the rotators in our Miele vacuum so that they wouldn't damage our silk and wool carpets. We happily paid for a half hour prior to the actual clean because this was important to us. That cleaner found our house too big and a different few ladies came instead and that info was not shared with them. They used their own baggless vacuum and our rugs are damaged and need repair. Other things annoyed me like unplugging lamps to plug in a vacuum and not plugging the light back in, or pulling out the sink stopper and not getting it back in properly so we can't plug and unplug our sink anymore...little things I should have mentioned but don't want to spend my time complaining (irony here of course;). When something was broken the cleaner alerted me right away and they were very accommodating. I just felt like I needed a more personal clean.
