I am so disappointed after the so-so customer service experience. They are grossly understaffed and hardly anyone was available to help out on the floor then all that money spent on something I needed to get but it's unusable. Then they closed 19 minutes before I made it back home. What a horrible way to close the night. Thanks Wal-Mart Sams Club for all the bullshit. I was hoping to find a couple of new cheeses I'd seen on social media, and sure enough, they had them and several other tasty-looking things as well. My husband checked that out and found some stuff to try, too.

Normally when I go to Natural Grocers , it's a hit or miss depending on what I find. I felt like…read morethis store particular is a big miss. All of the prices here are quite expensive and there really wasn't many deals going on here. They didn't have a good majority of the drinks and snacks that I was looking for originally. Staff here with friendly and pretty social. Plenty of parking and it's right off of the highway nearby. Overall, I thought it was just an overhyped grocery store. Not my natural Grocers store I would come back to in the area.

What do you mean you don't immediately check out grocery stores if you're in a new town? Is that…read moreeven possible that it's just me? Nay, I say...*ahem* Anyway, this is evidently in the "ghetto" part of town...or so I was told after the fact. I didn't see any criming going down, just a whole lot of orange traffic barriers. Yay. This store had a surprisingly decent selection of stuff. I wandered through for a few and checked out the offerings (I don't know why I do this shit every time I go to a new city, either) for a bit, grabbed a few unexpected goodies and kept mobbin'. Overall, pleasantly impressed.

I enjoyed my trip to Fareway. Some prices were pretty good, some were a bit high IMO, but overall you can find some good reasonable items here. They had some sales on soda which came in handy. But the highlight here for me was the meat sticks I got back near the meat deli. I noticed 2 brands and I asked one of the stocker guys which one he thought was good - and he recommended Pulaski's. He was so nice about it he even went back to ask his coworkers in the deli what they preferred, and 3 of them came out and all of them agreed to get the Pulaski's. One guy even gave very specific feedback as to the flavors, but the overwhelming consensus was they were big fans of this brand. Well they were all spot-on correct! In fact I did a beef stick comparison throughout my week here and in Rochester, finding anything local and unique. I ended up getting about 5 to 6 different brands at various places. And in the end the best one hands down was Pulaski's from Fareway. I wanted to go back and get more but didn't have the time. They still have the thing here where the person will walk with you and your car out to your car and load up your groceries for you, no tip required, a very courteous service if you need that help. Since my dad lives only five minutes from here this would definitely be one of my go to places to shop.

We're staying at a hotel a few blocks away, so we came here to pickup a few essentials - munchies/pop/water, etc for the room. Pretty standard walgreens.
