I stopped in after a soccer match and waited 17 minutes to get a burger and fries, because they didn't have nearly enough help to handle the postgame rush. Would hate to see what the line is like when American football is played. The interior of the store is reminiscent of an old-time general store. I'll be back up in Vinton in a couple of weeks and give them another chance. But for now, I'd have to say you are better off going to another establishment in town.

I went to this area, new to Cedar Rapids wondering why people would call an area ghetto simply because Black people live there. I was immediately skeptical based on the comments, but was met by people of many cultures and walks of life who spoke as they passed. Some smiled. NOTHING is scary about this area so ignore the ignorance preceding my review. If you're afraid of people who don't look like you, stay in your bubble and disengage from society period. Anywho, enough about foolishness from foolish people. I ADORE ALICIA and really appreciate how she went out of her way to help me and answer my questions. There is a wide array of products, many specials and discounts, and the prices are great! I always come in for one thing and leave with 7 or 8 when I go to stores like these!
