I tried to explain this to the meat department and they told me that it was their "policy" that they couldn't do anything without a receipt. I explained that the wrapper was up front and surely they could do something. Again, the "policy"--just like a little puppet. They gave me excuse after excuse but did nothing. Not even an apology.
