My car was dirty from traveling home to Topeka from St. Louis in an on and off rain weather day. I went to Eagle Car Wash in Topeka. They took the car in promptly and swept it out. After running through the wash, it was taken care of by MILES TALLEY. He is a very detailed person and spent a lot of time on the wheels (lots of spokes) and shining the tires. I don't normally like to slander a local business, but I must say that my last experience at Eagle Auto Wash was one to forget. I had recently purchased a new truck, and with that came a free coupon to Eagle for 1 month worth of free washes. Eager to use it, I gave them the keys and through the wash it went. After my number was called, I walked into the garage and watched one of the employees dry my window with a cloth before returning the keys to me. As I pulled out of the garage into the sunlight, I noticed 3-4 large scratches on my windshield that were definitely not there previously. I immediately brought my truck back and the manager came out to assess. He mentioned that they don't have any equipment that could have caused the scratches. I told him that I literally watched an employee towel-dry the windshield with my own eyes. Obviously, there was something (a piece of dirt or pebble) in the cloth rag he was using that caused the scratching. The manager and I then walked into his office and made an incident report. He told me to get a damage estimate from a glass shop here in town and bring it back. That's exactly what I did. I took it to a local auto glass shop, and they mentioned there was nothing they could do to repair it. It would have to be replaced. He gave me the estimate and I returned it to Eagle like the manager requested. A day later, the manager from Eagle called and told me they were not willing to fix the situation due to, again, "not having equipment that could cause that." He said the damage was most likely done by someone using an ice scraper on it. I explained to him, once again, that the employee towel dried it. I park in a garage and have never used a scraper on my vehicle. I am extremely disappointed in the way they handled the situation, along with their lack of professionalism and accountability. I'll never be returning and wanted to warn anyone who might be considering using them in the future. read more

I just took company vehicle to Eagle to be cleaned. Paid for Eagle Supreme Car Wash. When I left had to go to another auto wash to vacuum floors, seats and dust off doors, dash and instrument panel. I also had to reinstall the antenna that was left on the dash. I called the Manager to complain regarding my experience and he didn't seem the least bit concerned about an unhappy customer. So, will take the company business to another auto wash business. read more

Eagle Supreme Car Wash + carpet shampoo - From my experience, they only do the bare minimum, if that. Vacuuming only involves what you can see. They did not vacuum between or under seats. Black exterior trim had splash marks (wax, protectant?) I ended up using a polishing cloth after I got home and it buffed away, so apparently they didn't bother to try to do that. Trim prob wasn't included but they didnt care about overspray or cleaning up after themselves either. Floor mats are not included with carpet shampooing. Seems unusual but I didn't specifically ask so, my fault. read more

This is the second time I've taken my car there just to have to come home and clean it. This is my last visit. I paid for the 5 star cleaning and didn't get what I paid for. Dash wasn't wiped off. Hard to see in pictures but there's still chunks of dust and wasn't touched, wind shield was dirty and I still had to vacuum when I got home. I realize I have a black van and it's winter but I wish they would take more time to clean it when they park it inside to clean it. There was 6 guys and very slow so I thought I would have a good cleaning for my wife to see when I showed up home. Nope. They did say if I came back they would wipe down the dash. Not worth my time when you have little kids. I just wish it would get done the first time when you pay. Not rocket science . Horrible wash for black vehicles. read more

One of the best carwash places we've ever been to! Although our car was washed just four days ago, we drove through some national wildlife refuge areas on the subsequent two days and the car was filthy after that. We passed lots of self-wash places in many locales until fortunately coming across this place today. We chose the least-expensive option (the three star wash) and it was still a little pricey ($14.95 plus tax). However, we received a 20% discount for being AAA members (we also noticed there's a $2 discount for seniors on Wednesdays). After the car was washed, one of the workers spent a HUGE amount of time cleaning the entire interior of the car. read more

This place is hit or miss. I've had decent service and I have had terrible service. It has never been great. I had my wife's car detailed this last time and the work was so terrible that the manager had the car redone. That's great but who has time for that. The time before I had my truck detailed. It looked ok but I kept finding wax that didn't get wiped off. They wiped the rims but that's about it. It's just when I pay $200 I expect good service. I reward good service with a nice tip...this one went from 40 to 10. Get the cheapest car wash. You will get a good car wash for the price. And then you won't be mad about the stuff they forget and you have to do yourself. Another tip: if you have any thing on the seats/floor they will not move it so. Classic ripoff. Unless you intent to pay an expensive amount for inside cleaning the 1-5 star specials are all essentially the same. I even had to pay extra because my jeep had a small accumulation of mud (not even that much). He (the owner) tried to make me pay extra for "floor mat" cleaning which I was confused about because the 3 star came with carpet vacuuming supposedly, only after a few questions did I realize he was asking me if I wanted to pay 6 extra bucks for them to take out the floor mats and vacuum them separately as if that's worth a darn. Turned out the floor carpets weren't vacuumed dash was still covered in little dried mud spots that just needed a simple once over with a rag (which I though was included in the 3 star as it says it is) when I asked the guy said I needed to buy a vinyl cleaning package for the rest of my dash and steering wheel and to properly vacuum the carpets. Never been so furious. He even missed like 3 obvious mud spots on the back. Never going to this crowded confusing poop hole again. Better off doing some automatic wash and driving straight home and wiping it yourself with a rag for 3 minutes than spending $20+ on this joke of a "car wash". read more

When you want your car clean inside and out, this is the place to go! Be aware there are some cheaper options available that aren't so readily available as you pull up. Always happy with all the grim and dirt being gone as a drive away. Just be sure to plan your time accordingly...when they are busy, you'll be able to get another chapter read in your book. The four stars reflect 20 years experience there. Although I will have to comment I have a new Hyuandi dark blue I always hand washed. Had a broken leg and took it in three times in last 6 weeks, thought nothing of it till I came outta work one day and the sun hit the paint job right and there were literally thousands of horizontal scratches down the sides especially the right side... Britt the manager was nice about it and offered to help, they are going to try to wax it out. He said they had tried some new experimental brushes, foam on the left side, new cloth on the passenger side...right side had worse damage. UNTIL-ISSUE ADDRESSED WOULD NOT RUN A DARK CAR THRU THERE! I've been to Eagle several times, but my visit today will ensure I do not return. Not only did it take 55 minutes once my car came out of the wash carousel, the cleaning job was absolutely terrible. My dash wasn't wiped down in multiple areas, my windows had spots and streaks all over, and my mats looked like they had been shaken rather than vacuumed, or both. In 55 minutes, I could've done a better job AND my car wouldn't have been scraped in 3+ places. When I asked to speak to the manager, a guy came out. I say a guy, because he didn't even introduce himself. He made more excuses than I can list, but not once did he apologize or own up to his mistake. This is hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I will be taking my money elsewhere, and I'm hopeful others will learn from my mistake and do the same. read more

Pro's: Car was vaccummed great, Windows looked great, exterior looked great Con's: Had to wait some time for the female employee to finish her text message before she rang me up. Interior dash did not look to be wiped down. Very strong body odor in drivers seat (we can't seem to get rid of) ever since Saturday 10/5 when we broght the car in. Con's outweight the Pro's, but then again, it is hard to find good service anywhere these days. Can't say that I want spend money on a company that doesn't care about thier customer. read more

I am not happy today. While getting my truck washed a couple weeks ago, I was talking with an Eagle representative at the crashers desk about buying some booklets for stocking stuffers. I was told that on "Black Friday" there will be a discount. I waited as I wanted to get a discount believing it would be significant enough to make the trip. Well apparently the employee was not informed and not only did I not get a discount, I spent about $5 worth of gas and worse, I got out on Black Friday (I hate the traffic and people). When I got there I was told there is no sale until Sunday. And I was told I can't get the sale price until then. As I drove away without the tickets I thought, I should have ask how long they will be on sale as I am not making another special trip. But then I thought, I couldn't trust the answer. Eagle should inform employees better. You have no idea what it does to some of us. I have a little PTSD going on and when I make plan based on situations like this and I find I wasted my time, energy, and money, I go into what my wife refers to as "PTSD Pissed". Then I have to double up on my meds before I start to calm down. So for the next hour or so I will be setting here obsessing over this until the meds kick in. read more

I used this service for the first time awhile back. I could have done a better job with a toy water gun. The inside of the car wasn't done at all. I was outside waiting for the car and watched the kid doing perfunctory wiping here and there but he wasn't even watching what he was doing, he was waiting for some type of truck to come through that I could hear him talking about to a co-worker. He did not clean the inside windows and he did nothing to the outside of the passenger side of the car. The service wasn't worth $1.50 let alone $15. I honestly don't know how this place stays in business, but no second chance with me. read more

When I spoke with the manager about my disappointment all he said was "It looks like they didn't do a very good job of vacuuming - Sorry". I called the day before I went there for a price quote and to find out if an appointment was needed. I purchased a 3 star wash and shampoo of seats and carpets. They don't accept appointments for this service. When I arrived on the day I was I formed that floor mats cost extra. They did agree to do both the factory mats and the aftermarket mats I use over them for the cost of one set though. They also failed to let me know in advance that their equipment would leave my carpets and upholstery SOPPING wet. All of the floor mats were stacked in a pile in the cargo area on a piece of plastic. It wasn't until I returned home that I realized they hadn't done the back side of the rear seats and hadn't removed all of the dirt from the carpet mats. I was literally able to just wipe it off with a towel, so definitely not a tough stain. On the plus side, the receptionist who took my money and the detailer were personable. and. It only took the 2 hours they had estimated. I've had worse car wash experiences, but I wouldn't recommend them. They are using COVID as an excuse to keep their restrooms closed. read more

I have a CRV, the back was not touched, cup holders and cubbies where still dirty, and the carpet liners they put in after vacuuming and shampooing where dirty, from the coffee that I spilt there. Terrible experience. I had never been here before today and will not be returning. As I pulled up, I was greeted nicely enough. I rolled down my window and after saying hi, the guy just stared at me. I explained I'd never been here before but was looking at the board and knew what services I wanted. I told him i wanted the exterior washed and the interior detailed, the cup holders cleaned and carpets shampoo and windows, doors cleaned out, vacuumed ect. He said, well why don't you get the detail package that includes all of that? I agreed and asked if it was the 79.99 deal and said that sounds like what i need. When i looked up while waiting as the exterior was being done, I did not see that vacuuming the carpets was included. I asked the cashier who was the only positive about the experience. She informed me it was not included to the 80 dollar package i had purchased. I did receive 20 percent off with AAA which saves me almost 20 dollars initially, but then had to pay an additional 32 dollars, for shampoo to be added. He initially.told me my 2 door convertible pt cruiser was considered an SUV and would cost 63 dollars for shampoo. I couldn't believe it. He told me it was because of the trunk space of the car. I said don't do the trunk space. He said it was 34 dollars for that. Reluctantly agreed because I needed the car cleaned. What a mistake. When I came to pick the car up it did not look like much had been done to the interior. There was still dirt in the cup holders and grime in the doors. It was if they had stuck a cloth in there and pulled it out and that was about it. I got home and decided I was going to finish up what they should have and after three paper towels on one door I called back. The person I doubt whose name is Mark was very impersonal and did not care to make the situation right for me. He told me he could not give me a full refund so I decided to drive right back to the store to talk face-to-face. After pulling up in talking about it he admitted that they probably missed the cup holders and underneath my stereo but told me that to get into the cracks of all this stuff it was a completely different by appointment only purchase. I explained to him that the gentleman who helped me initially told me all of this was included and that was the only reason why I purchased it. He literally told me the words "they had done enough of" and then corrected himself realizing what he was saying to " a lot of work" as to the reason I couldn't get a refund. I then said that that's not how this should work and I will never be a returning customer if this is how you treat them. He then told me that interior detailing is for appointment only and they usually take two to four hours again, which is what I asked for in the first place with the first gentleman who tried to up sell me to the $80 package that didn't include any of what I wanted. After they offered to re clean the car which I said well if you're not going to refund me I guess I would like the work I paid for they're still dirt in the corners of the cup holders. On the way out to the vehicle however as I was walking with him almost every employee in there shop stopped to look at us and look at each other and then use the phrase "wheels and tires" and based on their body language towards me I feel like it was a directed at me as some type of work jargon. I've worked in shops before and know how employees disguise their words to talk about customers without them realizing. Also, considering I was there for an hour previously and they hadn't said it at all before while I was out there, it felt very directed. He then told me these words and i made sure to write them down immediately verbatim. " well I know you said you're not coming back or you know, or else I would offer you a free Eagle Supreme wash but, I mean, I know you said you're not coming back so..." as hes walking away. I was taken aback that he would use such words. Like I slap to my face because their job was poorly done and their customer was unsatisfied. The work was not acceptable but the customer service was even worse. The cashier was the only one that seemed to value the customer. Going to talk to Brett on Monday who is apparently in charge. read more

I have a love hate relationship with this place. On one hand my car comes out spotless and the prices are reasonable but the wait time is horrendous. They are way understaffed and it shows. I watched my car and 12 others sitting in the hot sun waiting to be towel dried. This was my favorite car wash until yesterday. My car sat for a good 5 mins dripping wet in the hot sun and now it has water spots. I watched 3 employees dry the same car while mine and a white suv sat to air dry. Finally they unwillingly got to my car and the other. The inside of my car was dripping with the fragrance spray on the foot jambs and it was not even wiped down completely. The trunk trim is black and filthy still. The guy drying it had no ambition whatsoever. I had him at least wipe off the black smudges on the outer wheel wells from the wheel brightener brush. I have taken my vehicles here since we moved from CA last year due to the salt on the roads after the snow. I surely didn't want any rust to start. I have always had some type of minor issue but this was it, now I have to either pay someone to wax it so the water spots will go away (if they even do) or my husband has to wax it. Either way it's time consuming and shouldn't have to be done after a $30 eagle supreme wash. They were usually pretty quick to get to the vehicles but not yesterday. I will just save my money and wash it by hand myself. Although I heard a few new washes were opening with the rust inhibitor and underside cleaners. Might have to google them. Im sure they won't mind losing my business but I just had to post my disappointment this last time around. read more

My wife drives for Uber, this Christmas she had a rider puke in the back seat. Liquor and noodles all over her leather seats, noodles blasted into the speaker holes in the side door. It happened when it was in the teens temp wise. She drove to Eagle and yeah, they were open but only to sell gift cards. She spoke to a man who said you will have to return after the holidays, "she explained in full her needs". Later to find out it was the manager. So, today (12/28/2017) she takes it back in and they tell her not only does it require a reservation and they can not get to it before January sometime. She requests that they at least shampoo the rear carpet so she can work driving for Uber and please take that amount and subtract it from the service I will set the appointment for in January. Sorry, ma'am, no can do. It will be another charge. She asked if she could speak to the manager, well guess who the manager is? "The idiot she spoke to in the very beginning that was only selling gift cards". His reply to her was, "well you did not explain in detail how bad it was. I usually am easy going, only demand what I think is reasonable. So, if Eagle has treated you right. Awesome. But in my world you do whatever it takes to help a customer, let alone a woman whom uses her car for her career, you know to pay the bills.
