The 320 store IS a convenience store. The Staff is helpful Yes, that is true. However, chefs from restaurants DO NOT USE this store for very good reasons - the produce is not ripe or is overly ripe. The canned goods/frozen goods are scattered and look like purchased from other stores and resold here as they keep changing. This store is more like what you would find in a gas station. The meats are okay - not a great selection. Like I said in the beginning- this is a good place to just grab something when can't go to other stores and just really makes the neighborhood not a food desert.

I can only review the otc items since I've never gotten a prescription filled here. Some of it is over priced and some of it is average. I usually stick to the staple items I get that I think have a fair price. You can walk down to Jumpin Joes or the convenient store on Mulberry for cheaper prices. I go here because it's closer and not as busy.

This was my first time in the store, everything looked clean and orderly, employees were friendly. it was a good vibe. I grabbed a few other items, some mushrooms, soda pop, a cantaloupe and a 12 piece chicken dinner. This morning I looked at my bank statements and noticed the charge at Gray's seemed a little high. I still had the receipt in my sweater pocket and instantly saw the "discrepancy." My $1.49 cantalope was priced by the pound, something I've never seen anywhere else. Naturally at $1.49 I picked the largest one, I paid $8.27 for one cantalope. I guess I should have paid better attention, but I've never seen cantalope priced by the pound anywhere else, ever. No more visiting Gray's Foods for me because it's a little out of the way and the chicken wasn't that good.

Without a doubt, they have really changed my perception of what a travel stop should look like, providing a great alternative to the Illinois Travel Oasises which seem to be dwindling in number. The gas always pumps quickly with easy to use reward programs, the restrooms are always well stocked and clean, there's plenty of souveniers to buy, and I'm surprised at the massive amount of snack and especially drink options that are available.
