I did have a change in people from 300 to 180, which would mean he would owe me money. In response to that he told me about a month prior to my wedding that the price per plate goes up if that many people decline (this was never in any of the contracts or emails). I let it go as about a month before my wedding, I had bigger fish to fry. Day of my wedding the food tasted great, he told me at the end "they cleared me out! There are no leftovers. I usually make a quarter pound of meat per person but I made half a pound for yours." That was it, I was excited and told him I would send a tip to him post-wedding. Fast forward to the day after my wedding and was informed by family that the last two tables of my wedding got absolutely no meat and just beans and coleslaw left. Mind you we had 3 meats and 5 sides, buffet style. One of my cousins asked the owner where more food was as he began stating that men were piling food high. To which she pointed out there were no serving restrictions or servers serving to stop this from occurring. I was embarrassed and tried emailing to the owner to rectify the situation as 20 people of the 160 who showed didn't get fed. And I paid for 180. The owner has not responded at all. It has been over 2 months since my wedding. Definitely would not cater through them again.

I LOVE brisket done to perfection and these guys didn't disappoint! I'm guessing there was at least 1/2 lb of meat on that bun! It was exquisite alone without sauce, tender and not chewy. My husband and I could've easily split one but I'm glad we didn't! I'll definitely be watching their location schedule more closely! Thanks, 3HM, for an outstanding lunch today!

How was the burger,…read morelet's find out: Ambience This is hard to comment since this was a food truck and seating was mostly at a bar. Service The guys were really nice guys. The food was cooked to order and did not take long. Food I got the onion smashed burger. I thought it was delicious with charred onions smashed into the burger and cheese. I did not use any ketchup for the burger because it was very well seasoned and juicy. Tater bombs These were a tarot tot on steroids. It came with what looked like a some sort of ketchup/mayo concoction. Basically a fried loaded potato is a shape of a big beefy tater tot. It had bits of bacon and cheese in it. It had a nice crunch and fluffiness to the inside. Though you get six of these tasty potatoes, there are substantially enough for a side (and to some a perfect snack). Overall Definitely visit smashd burger. It is a family and veteran owned burger place that serves great burgers and fun sides. I think I have to go back and try the bacon jam... I mean... it's bacon jam...

This is the absolute best food truck that's ever sat at the end of my block. Which is to say it's…read morethe only food truck that's sat at the end of my block, but that recently changed when Imperial Oak Brewing opened up last weekend. I found out that The Pizza Via would be there today and hello? Food truck. End of block? You do the math. I try to try the weird food items whenever possible. I mean, I could make a plain old sausage or pepperoni pizza in my own oven at home. I wouldn't even have to walk to the end of my block for such a thing. But this, this had to be special, so I went with the Italian Beef pizza. According to the website this is: Hand made Italian Beef, giardiniera, roasted peppers and fresh mozzarella. It was all of those things. The claim on the side of the truck is that the oven reaches 1000 degrees and can cook your pizza in 60 seconds. Well, it took a little bit longer than that, but I'm not complaining. The lady at the window was super-duper friendly and accommodating. And when I told her I was going to take my dogs and wait over in the grass she was all too willing to flag me down when it was ready. The pizza was just okay. It sounds like it would be a fantastic combination of flavor exploding in your mouth, but the truth is, there wasn't a whole lot of flavor beyond the cheese. The beef is very thin and just doesn't hold much flavor on its own. And the giardiniera and peppers just kind of blended into the sauce. Plus the crust was too thin to sustain itself and was almost paper thin in areas, while the end had blackened marks on it, and was a little bland. Would I visit The Pizza Via again? Sure, especially if they visit the end of my block again. But I don't think I'd seek them out purposefully for a return visit. I hope that as time goes by they improve their flavors, and I'll be sure to update this review with the new things I try and their success.

The menu is brief and typically features a sweet option and a savory option. Though there's no active website that I can locate, it's easy to find out where he will be and what he will be serving by following his Facebook page. At today's market, The Crepe Guy was making a chicken and waffles-topped crepe and a blueberry-topped crepe. I opted for chicken and waffles, a crepe I've tried before and loved. Today's chicken and waffles crepe looked beautiful but didn't do much for me. I found the chicken to be over shredded and over saturated with syrup, making it pretty mushy and too sweet. The crepe itself was delicious, as was the chive butter on top. Because I've had a successful experience with The Crepe Guy before and also because he's so wildly popular with my friends, I know I'll visit his booth again. He's a very creative cook and I definitely want to try some of the other crepes in his repertoire.
