Horrible service! Sent my truck for a misfire and when I received it it still had a misfire but…read morethey charged me for "fixing" it. Do not use this mechanic shop! This is the most incompetent mechanic I have ever encountered in my…read morelife. I've taken my vehicle to them for two things and they were incompetent with handling both. The first was a brake job. They only did half the brakes and didn't tell me. When the brakes kept squeaking and I took it back, they told me they needed to do the other end of the vehicle. I have never heard of a mechanic diagnosing and only doing half of a brake job when all four brakes needed to be changed! The most recent encounter was for a check engine light. They tried to suggest that the Kwik Kar put the wrong oil in the truck a week before and wanted to charge me to do a whole new oil change again on brand new oil. When I called Kwik Kar they confirmed that they did put the correct oil in the truck, which is also on the windshield sticker. Their response was well I guess there's just nothing more to do. When I pushed back and said, "That's not acceptable I brought the vehicle to a mechanic to diagnose and fix the problem", the response was, "Well it might be the oil pump and that's gonna cost $1500." I got charged $100 and cursed out. Don't take your car to these people, go somewhere else with some competent mechanics. I will be taking my truck to my mechanic I trust in Granbury.

I took my Jeep into G-Rex Tires & Lube for a routine oil change, and less than 20 minutes later I…read morewas driving with zero oil pressure, a check engine light, and oil splattered all over my vehicle. Completely unacceptable. This wasn't a complicated repair -- it was a basic oil change -- and somehow they still managed to create a serious problem through what appeared to be pure carelessness and rushed work. The employees seemed inexperienced and more focused on moving cars through quickly than doing the job correctly. What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of accountability from ownership when confronted about it. No urgency, no ownership, no professionalism. This is an extremely poorly run small business operated by neglectful amateurs. Glen Rose residents: enter at your own risk.
