As a female we have all heard horror stories of mechanics seeing pound signs...not here. I never felt pressured or as if I was being talked down to! The lads were honest and open and so chatty that I felt comfortable. (Sadly I think most women have felt intimidated at garages). The job was quickly and professionally done and a very good price. I then discovered that they do services too so I booked that in for next week. I've found 'my' garage and won't be going anywhere else now and would definitely recommend to everyone especially women.

What a world of difference! Car was booked in, I was told it'd be about half an hour before they could start work on it and by joke within half an hour they'd started work. Most of the Google reviews looked good, apart from one outlier. I'm still always a bit nervous going to garages etc that they'll see a short female and double the price so had my fingers crossed as I pulled up. Location tip - it's across Flaxley Road from Matalan, next to a cafe. Postcode on the sat nav directed me to the retail park. I was greeted straight away, even though they were really busy and I was a drop in. The guy had a quick look and said they might be able to repair, but wouldn't know for sure until they looked properly. Had to wait a little while as they fixed the people ahead of me and then they got to work on my tyre. They were really great at pointing out the areas of damage and what they were assessing and then took it away to inspect. They managed to repair my punctures which I was delighted about. The tyres have wear, but they gave a realistic estimate of how much more mileage I'll get out of them and didn't try to push me into buying new ones. When I asked for a quote, they gave me a range of options I could choose from whenever I want to replace. They didn't push the most expensive ones, and having had a quick search beforehand, the prices sounded good/comparable to others I'd seen online. Everyone was really friendly, they were quick considering how busy they were, the price was excellent and they really came across as being HONEST. I will absolutely be heading back to them when I decide to replace my tyres, even though they're much more out of the way for me than the Kwik Fit around the corner. They're worth the trip and they deserve my business.

I went with their advice and believe I got a great deal...some internet companies could not supply the tyres for what I paid to have them fitted and balanced. I decided to have my new tyres aligned, the computerised wheel alignment system is a serious bit of kit and gave me a before and after readout that even I could understand! The staff their were friendly and helpful, the manager even offered me a temporary tyre for one of mine while I waited for my replacements to be delivered along with a text service to let me know my delivery had come in, I have to say I was really impressed. I would definitely recommend Addison, I won't be going elsewhere in future.

He was visibly shook up and in no fit state to take his maths exam that day. Over the road I saw Lodge Tyres and thought I would inquire about getting the front bumper secured so he could travel back to Redditch safely. The gentleman at the reception was very helpful and advised me to pull the car in so they could have a look at it. Once in the garage Pete and another lovely mechanic (whom I can't remember the name of sorry!) set away with cable ties and gaffa tape until it was drivable. When asked how much I got told "Don't worry about it" which was such a lovely gesture! Go here, you will be treat like a human being and maybe even have a bit of banter along the way. But since I've been solely responsible for my car for seven years, I've come to learn a few things that have even surprised mechanics. When I went to Lodge Tyres to get tracking done, I didn't feel as though I was being judged in any way - and I'm sure ladies will understand what I mean by that! The staff members are friendly and bubbly. They explain everything clearly, without trying to drown you out with technical terms. They offer detailed reports so you know how your car has been tested and what the results show. They tend to get very busy so it's worth calling in advance to book an appointment. Parking in the area can be a nightmare because it's so busy. Large trucks pass through these roads so you have to be cautious on where you park.

They always do a good job and, in generally, they're 50% cheaper than their closest rivals! When I had new brakes fitted, I had one quote for about £300. C & C quoted closer to £150 including parts and labour. I know someone else who needed new tyres and was quoted over £200 by a dealer, she went to C & C and got just as good quality tyres fitted for less than £120. They do servicing and MOT preparation (but not actual MOTs). They will work with any make and model. And they sell and fit tyres and exhausts. They are always really nice and get the work done quickly, they don't charge too much and they always do a good job. I'd definitely recommend them.
