When my brother said we were going to be taking a road trip the next time I came in I was game. I…read moream always up for a road trip, I always look to see what is in the area. When I saw this place was right around where we were going to be once we got into New York state, I convinced my brother that we have to stop here. Sassy's is so much more than a truck stop. It's a landmark in this area. As you can see by the rest of the reviews, people either love it or hate it. Along with the truck stop you obviously have fuel for regular vehicles. There is also a diner attached here and a convenience store with a tobacco outlet. For the sake of this review, I am going to focus on the convenience store portion. After the last long haul on the trip we were happy to make it here finally. Our first task was that we needed to use the facilities. We walked in and towards where the restrooms should be to only find them to be blocked off and a note instructing you to use the portapotties outside. Umm, don't do it, on a hot summer day, you will regret this immensely. Once back inside my brother and Dad were over at the counter asking about the tobacco and I was over in the souvenir section. Once I saw Sassy's, I was hoping to find a shirt or something to take with me. Unfortunately, all the shirts were sizes I couldn't fit. I'm not a fan of snapback hats so that was out. I ended up picking up a magnet because it was about the only thing I wanted at that point. It's not the best magnet, but it is a magnet nonetheless. I made a joke that a lot of people have heard of Buc-ee's, but not many know about his country cousin Sassy. I think you all should find out about her. I mean, the family resemblance is there and all.

When I brought the car in they were able to fix it for $182 with replacing a hose and cleaning off my back tire which made a new noise when I drove it to the shop, I am SUPERR appreciative of the care they took to my older car and the price was amazing. The car ended up making it all the way to Buffalo and back a few hours later Super friendly staff and I will definitely be going back

As we were fixing up our home and outside playing with our kids etc and quite honestly, sometimes not being the best neighbors we could be to a business trying to make cars smell and look "prestine" lol, I watched him build his business day in and day out with such pride and grace and always with a smile I've even seen him out at few family friendly events in the community with his family and knew he was something special. Fast forward: I was sad to see him leave our location but was happy to see him expanding into his new location this past year :) so now I watch his videos: so proud of his accomplishments, and the moment I'm like how am I gonna get this sticker for my business on my car (that needs to go on when atleast 45°F) I finally think....hmmm.... I'll ask Evan to help me with my kinda weird ask :) so I drop by unannounced to explain my easy but weird dilemma, and with minimal questions asked, I have my beautiful sticker on my vehicle promoting my business too! couldn't have been more happy signed one very happy momma ;) THANK YOU EVAN! Pleasure doing business with you!!

The store itself is great. It's a nice sized market with all of the necessities. I think they are reasonably priced and the staff are nice and friendly, very willing to help you out. The store is also heavily stocked and clean. For the prepared foods and ready to order hot meals, I encourage you to come hungry! They have a lot of options and seem to serve everything all day. On today's visit I tried the donuts, tuna salad, and chicken salad which they said was all made in store. I also tried the macaroni salad which was also said to be made in store. For the food, I would recommend trying the fresh breads and the tuna salad! Both were very good, and they made a great sandwich on my road trip! Don't forget the donuts because those were the best part! The Apple fritter was the star of the show as it was humongous and also delicious. It had a lot of glaze and was made with real apples (not like a pie filling, from what I could tell). Also the angel cream/white cream donut was fantastic. It was very filled and good. I recommend stopping in if you're in the area!
