    This place DESERVES ZERO STARS!!!!! My friend rented a duplex through this agency and had me help…read moredocument and clean everything, before and after he moved in, and thank goodness we did, or he would've really got nailed with charges. When he moved there was three, yes three satellite dishes on his roof and when he moved out, they tried to charge him to get them removed....seriously?! Another instance was the carpet. When he moved in, the carpet looked nasty, so I used my shampooer to try and clean it. Wasted effort on my part. After several days and many sweat-filled hours later it didn't look any cleaner and I was still picking-up dirt like crazy. He called D&M complaining that the carpets were never cleaned after the previous tenant. They stated that they "had the receipt" and that they could send a copy to him. It never happened. He called back to remind them to send it and now they claim that "it got lost"....I call B.S...doubt they had one to begin with. The company who my friend hired to clean the carpet after he left remarked that it was "heavily soiled" and that there was no way that it was cleaned prior to him moving in. Well NO KIDDING!!! D&M's response to this....."we will pay $50 towards the cleaning." Unacceptable in my opinion. From what I can tell, they try to keep as much of the persons deposit, pocket it and do no repairs to the units what-so-ever. I don't give out one star reviews often, but D&M Management definitely deserves to be in this category. Judging my the other reviews, it looks like my friend wasn't the only one getting screwed by this company. AVOID this management company like the plague. This is one of the WORST rental companies that I've seen in action.

I asked them to extend an extra month into June and pay for the whole month plus and extra fee even though we were only going to be there for a week of it and the DENIED us. I have been a loyal renter for 6 yrs have never had a complaint and have never once been late on rent. They never even cleaned the carpets before we moved in or even vacuumed them. Nothing was cleaned we are leaving the place way better than we found it. If I don't get my deposit back they will be seeing me again that is for sure!!!! I cannot in good conscience suggest anyone rent from them.

    Where do I begin? We contracted with them for our rental property in 2016. Right away we found…read moreourselves running adds in Craigslist for renters. They asked us to stop and I asked them to find a renter. Right away we got a bad vibe from Darlene. It took over a month for them to find a renter. It's actually funny that they have already changed their name from Property Management of Idaho to Property Management Investment Group. (Buyer beware) Shady!! Staff is rude and my wife and I could not keep up with the lies in addition to flat out stealing. I will explain in a minute. Over the years, whenever an issue arose from the rental property, there was never any communication; they simply found some handy man or Gardner who charged exuberant prices. I finally told Darlene that if they ever gouged me again they would be let go. She could not explain why a simple sprinkler blow out would be $95.00 dollars when the going rate was $45. Darlene is rude and could care less how the customer or tenant feels. The straw that broke the camels back was in December 2019, my tenants water heater went out along with the oven heating element. We quickly ordered new ones and had them installed. We received an email from the property management asking us how we wanted to pay for the installation fees. I responded that we would drop off a check to them and asked them to send me the bill. Darlene responded, it comes out of the next rent that's the way it is. My wife called for clarification and asked why we could no simply come pay in full and asked to speak to Darlene, who had sent the email. Darlene got on the phone and explained that was the way they did it and then had the audacity to ask my wife why she was calling her. "You could have spoken to the other ladies in the office about this....that's why I have employees". My wife responded that she asked specifically for her since she was the one that responded to her email. Can you believe that!!! They work for us but tell the customer to speak with someone else. That was it. We demanded to meet our tenants and informed the management company they were that they were fired with 60 day notice. They told us to put it in writing if we wanted to meet our tenants. When we finally met with our tenants we were told horror stories. Darlene forced them to pay with a cashiers checks or money order costing an additionally $35.00 every month, we began talking about the maintenance and sprinkler issues and they informed us that it was in their contract, one we never saw, that they the tenants were to preform all yard maintenance. We discovered that we both had been paying for sprinkler blow outs and maintenance. When I presented this discrepancy to Darlene's staff they responded.."oh, they never said anything to us so we billed you." Incredible thieves- gougers liars. The tenant had to produce receipts for them to begrudgingly reimburse. When the tenant called them to ask for their deposit back they were told we don't do that. My tenant is still waiting to resolve that and in addition Darlene's staff told my tenant that we had broke the contract and were probably selling the house out from under the tenants causing a our tenants to panic. My tenant was scrambling to find a new place. We learned from our tenants that they had been asking Darlene for our contact info for years to simply open communication about they extra money order fees, ect.. They were told they could not speak with us. This company is scandalous, if you go with them be prepared to be ripped off and talked to like a peasant with no respect for owners or the tenants. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

I have never been treated this way in all my years of renting. Yes, you are old and extremely rude, that should not be shocking for you to hear. I get along with almost everyone, but your behavior was abhorrent. In order for us to see the home we had to fill out some of our information and hand over $50 for the key. I accidentally missed one line on the paper when I passed it back and immediately this woman changed her entire tune and began treating me like some kind of drug addict hoodlum. "You know what, I think we need to take a copy of your ID" with your vile looks and condescending tone. Then you held onto the full $100 as well. All you had to do was hand me back the paper and simply point it out, instead you had to display your drama and nastiness. Talking over me, not answering my questions, being short, continuously trying to cut me off and go back to your seat to be done with it because you ma'am had already made your judgment on me. You are the definition of insufferable. The cherry on top was receiving the email I was sent implying that I falsified my ESA paperwork. It came directly from my doctor and I and you had all of my doctors information on my application already. That was wild. Make it make sense. Clearly not the sharpest tools in the shed working here. Aaron did apologize for that but it still doesn't excuse the behavior. That should not ever be happening. There is no excuse for this. In the end you denied us which is fine, if I had given you all the proper paystubs I would have easily been accepted (because I failed to provide the other paystubs) but after everything, there is NO chance I will ever rent with your company. I cannot even imagine what sort of hell you would try to put us through. Look at all your 1 star reviews. Possible future tenants, I implore you to go read those reviews. You all as an entire team in there should be embarrassed and ashamed of your own behavior. Just look at the response you gave to the other 1 star review someone gave you on google. You just proved their point completely. I'm not sure how you stay in business and I never wish ill on anyone, but I genuinely hope to see your business go under. That's how disgusting this experience was with you. I'm writing this in hopes to warn and help other renters to stay as far away as possible and to be the voice for those who have been too afraid to speak up or write a review. You are all full grown adult bullies. To the older lady at the front desk, you couldn't remember my roommate when he came in even after all of this. That's a bit concerning, maybe dementia has begun for you? I genuinely believe you would benefit greatly from retiring. I'm sorry for whatever is wrong in your life because being that miserable all the time must be exhausting. Do better.

I've rented as both a student in North Carolina and as a professional working in California, and I've seen the good, bad, and the ugly of being a tenant. Kelsey is a joy to work with. Mid-lease my roommate and I had to move given the situation with the pandemic. She worked with us and was calm, helpful, and treated us like real people which is so refreshing in this day and age. Do not hesitate whatsoever to rent from KP Real Estate Investments. The properties are well-maintained, look like they do in the pictures, and are reasonably priced for the areas they are in.
