And on top of that you take Coast to Coast off the air....I won't be tuning in at all. It's about time Seattle got an Oldies station again. Boo! Wrong Move KVI. Why fix something that is not broken? I'm a 30-year-old business exec and it was relieving to get my news with a conservatives point of view on the issues during my commute. When I first moved out here 2 years ago I tried out the different stations like am 1090 (ew! painful!). Could not believe the airwaves were drenched with ridiculousness so it took me a while to find KVI and KTTH. Now all I have now is KTTH. What a shame. read more

I'm conservative, but even I thought most of the shows were a bit much. I did enjoy Dr. Laura from time to time and, referring to the recent change, I do like oldies. However, the only reason I found your station was Coast to Coast AM. Can we please reach a compromise? It's only a few hours in the middle of the night...and that's not asking that much. If this change were to come into effect I would gladly redact this rating, because believe it or not, people read these. We do not need another 'oldies' station, and I don't believe for a minute that is the true reason for the change. Kudos to KVI for nixing a lot of terrible talk radio and adding oldies that were lacking after 97.3 dropped out. I was devestated when 97.3 FM quit bringin' the oldies and I was always a little devestated when my dad would turn on KVI's talk programming in his car if I'd ride with him, but now maybe both problems have been solved and we can def both listen to oldies together! I'll def be adding this to my top channels, so maybe that might at least offset one of these folks who are leaving the airwaves for their 21st century CDs. I am 64 years old and have lived in the Seattle area my entire life. I listened to your station all day but now when I change to Kvi I just here music. Who in this current time listen to am music station I have never meant one yet in my life time. Also I enjoyed the programs you have had on for years and listen to you for 11 hours a day now I just click and see if it has changed back and as soon as I here music I shake my head and laugh and to 770 or 1000 or 99.3 or 99.7. This is an absolute OUTRAGE!!! to take THEE most popular nighttime talk show off the air in one of THEE most populous cities in the USA is only the work of the "Powers That Be" to surpress the truth and to hide behind the mask of deception. I am a lover of oldies music as i grew up in that era and take my advice - there is no need to go to an oldies music format on this station! i turn on 570am to listen to COAST TO COAST every night to hear what cannot be heard anywhere else, and occassionally turn on 570 in the daytime to hear limbaugh and hannity (even though i dont like them) so i can hear the other side give their spin after i've listened to ed shultz, randy rhodes and stephanie miller. there is no way i will ever listen to this station again unless you at least restore the COAST TO COAST show during the weeknights. I didn't listen to KVI for their conservative talk show hosts since none of them could hold a candle to Michael Savage who was dropped by 770's KTTH. In 1987 I supervised the KVI - KPLZ Radio Station renovation. Prior to the demolition I salvaged a baseball action painting by Boyle from what I think was the AM broadcast studio. It appears to have been hanging there during the one season that the Pilots were in Seattle. I've been trying to find out more about the artist and have had no luck. Any help out there? read more

I love oldies songs, however, now all I hear is Christmas music. Christmas music is fine in moderation. I am very frustrated and dismayed that I have to find another radio station to listen to until after Christmas. Why couldn't you mix it up?
