The College Friend and I weren't able to attend the other food/drink event at the KCTS 9 studios. But we froze waiting in line, hoping to get a good seat for the later free panel event. I remember we had had a terrific time chatting with a couple that had just moved from Chicago to Seattle. I was able to get tips for an upcoming trip to the upper midwest, just wished I was brilliant and actually exchanged contact info. I remember feeling so much pride seeing so many Filipino/Filipino American participants from the greater Seattle community from the cultural presentation from UW students to the folks on the panel with Chef Samuelson. I enjoyed the venue hosting the event that is adjacent to the Seattle Opera. Decent seating and interior, well emceed, and an overall memorable event. Thank you KCTS 9 for having terrific programming and community events like this.

You alienate a huge portion of your viewing audience and expect donations. Not a chance. I started donating in the 1970's. Programming was far better then. I watch pbs in LA , great station,lucky them. Seattle is cursed with one of the worst PBS Stations and Classical music stations. It's embarrassing.
