I'm not huge on morning talk radio, I'd rather listen to music, but when they play music it is usually a good selection (only slightly repetitive ). KFRG supports local charities and do many events. I've been to many concerts and events where KFRG has been and have gotten free stickers, pictures, frog odds and ends . They also hand out free tickets to events. I've seen them give out free CDs at Montanans night club and I've seen Jimmy hoppa at the Brandin Iron in San Bernardino. This station is located in the Inland Empire but there are other stations affiliated in the high desert area that play the same music . I can't wait to see them at Stage Coach this year !

Thank God for options such as IPod and other radio stations because then you'd have to put this audiophile into an insane asylum! This isn't LA (at least where I'm at) where you have a variety of radio stations to choose from if you're not into country. Please play more of the older (late 80's-early 2000's) yet more real Rap, Hip-Hop, and R&B in your regular rotation and less of the aforementioned "artists"! Thank you!

This station has been around for years. Back when I used to intern!…read more I remember every year they would do a count down to the best song of the year on new years eve. The winner every year was "stairway to heaven" from Led Zeppelin. (which I always agreed with LOL). The Eagles "Hotel California" and The Who's "Baba O'Riley" were always in the top 5. Kcal has revamped itself from strictly playing classic rock to playing a mixture of new & old rock. And Jimbo has become a household name. I remember when he used to come into the record store that I managed to look around. He always had tall, busty women with him. I guess Kcal isn't the only thing that has come a long way! HA! Mandatory metallica at 10, rock n roll bingo, buzzwords with Stew, Tiffany & Jimbo and your morning stiffy. (I'd go with Stew with the buzzwords) :) KCAL ROCKS!
