Screw these guys. The OC just screwed the IE and got rid of Daryl and the rest of the KCAL 96.7 crew. I've been listening for over 40 years and I can't believe Anaheim Broadcasting from Orange County did them and we fans dirty. I already uninstalled their app and deleted from my presets. RIP KCAL and fuck you OC! read more

I won music festival tickets and NEVER received them. Made a bunch of plans to prepare for the day to go and ended up never getting the tickets from them with multiple attempts to contact them through email, ended up having to buy my own. SCAMMERS . Don't bother trying to win anything from them! read more

This station has been around for years. Back when I used to intern! I remember every year they would do a count down to the best song of the year on new years eve. The winner every year was "stairway to heaven" from Led Zeppelin. (which I always agreed with LOL). The Eagles "Hotel California" and The Who's "Baba O'Riley" were always in the top 5. Kcal has revamped itself from strictly playing classic rock to playing a mixture of new & old rock. And Jimbo has become a household name. I remember when he used to come into the record store that I managed to look around. He always had tall, busty women with him. I guess Kcal isn't the only thing that has come a long way! HA! Mandatory metallica at 10, rock n roll bingo, buzzwords with Stew, Tiffany & Jimbo and your morning stiffy. (I'd go with Stew with the buzzwords) :) KCAL ROCKS! read more

LOVE THIS STATION!! The Morning Stiffy by far is the best morning show in Southern Calfornia. Mark and Brian show their age these days and Kevin and Bean are 50 year olds talking to teenagers. Let's get a drink Stu! read more

Ok, check it out. My name is K. Mark. I have been listening to k-cal for over 30 years. I live in L.A. I know, i am sorry too, but that is the good example of what NOT to listen to. I have worked at the rock station there and talked to producers, program director, etc. The format will remain the same through out past and future years. Even told them they should listen to 96.7 k-cal. Because after answering 2 years of phone calls in L.A., the majority of requests, stories, etc, they need something different. Repeat everything until you cant stand the song. There are plenty of songs that guns and roses wrote besides "welcome to the jungle". I could go on about L.A. music, nope, it bores me too much. I"m just sayin. Thank you K-CAL for putting me in the right mode right when i get out of L.A.'s frequency, and into yours. You rock! read more

Stu, Tiffany, and Jimbo are AWESOME...I listen to them regularly and you should too..

Kcal playing the best classic rock and new rock in the IE as long as I can remember. . Kcal kegger was a great party!

STJ morning show is awesome. Love "Puff puff pass". Darrell in the afternoon is excellent as well. I give 5 stars just for that. All the other DJ's are meh. Weekend programming is horrible. The KCAL app doesn't work on my Android, says "configuration error". Could be my phone though. read more

What the radio station but Jimbo sucks his voice irritates me sounds like he's got something stuck in his throat

Same old same old. Their random morning show hasn't changed much in years . Same jokes, same dead air space. There's a reason they sell their air time so cheap. Oh did I mention most of the djs are snobs. If you don't bow down to them they snuff you like they don't know you. So misrepresenting the IE. LETS GET IN TOUCH WITH WHO YOU USE TO BE. We liked you better 10 years ago. read more

Place has gone downhill fast! No Stu in the morning, jokes are old and played out. The format, what the heck is happening there? Bad ratings, same DJ's from 20 years ago, minus Stu - lost it's charm completely. read more
