And one of the employees was nice enough to let me know which ones were for weddings. There are a ton of knick-knack here, and I took a few minutes to look around. Then one day, all of the sudden they stopped having the great kind of dress shoes especially occasion shoes and my size. I'm very tall. So I noticed that but I continue to shop their clothes and then one day they stop selling my favorite brand. After a couple of months I was able to ask someone about that she said she didn't know why they stop selling that brand but she had been waiting for some herself and they just stopped sending it. Okay so I continue to shop and I just noticed more boring clothes coming in and clothes that I just wouldn't buy so I will come there on occasion and a couple of times I went there and I ran into someone I knew so although I only bought one item I got to see my old friend. Then I went there and the only thing you could really buy is a purse and I didn't come all the way over there just to buy a purse. I wanted to buy some clothes. I noticed that they started selling more household items and things like that which is okay but I never got the kind of jeans I was looking for tops or dresses in my size and then they put my size all the way in the back and it's only one hanger thing I don't remember what they called but you can push it around and that's was only available for my size. The proprietess was very attentive and after considerable searching found the perfect 4th pink and gold traditional Chinese dress for my daughter, and gave us a on the spot discount . We decided to go with the gold instead of the red envelopes. For six envelopes, the price was $3.50. We were in and out of there in less than five minutes. The only item we could not find was a Chinese wedding card. We figured the gold envelope (money enclosed) was good enough to give my nephew and his bride-to-be their wedding gift. I'm just glad that we did not spend a lot of time shopping for those envelopes in Oakland Chinatown.
