Had been hearing a lot of good reviews about this place on TikTok, so I decided to give it a try on a Friday evening. The restaurant sits on the corner and is very small inside, but they also offer outdoor seating. It shares the area with another restaurant next door that also had outdoor seating, and honestly, when I saw some of their food coming out, I got a little confused because it looked much more appealing than what was offered on this menu. It was pretty chilly outside, so although we originally sat outdoors, we eventually moved inside. The restaurant appears to be fairly new, which may explain why the menu is still pretty limited. There weren't many options, and some of the menu descriptions didn't really give a clear idea of what to expect. I noticed a frozen drink machine inside and thought that's what I had ordered, but my drink ended up coming on the rocks instead. The drink was just okay -- not bad, but definitely not something I'd order again. For food, I tried the chicken skewers and noodles. Unfortunately, both were underwhelming. The noodles looked appetizing, but they were bland and clumped together, and the chicken skewers were dry and just didn't do much for me flavor-wise. On a positive note, the service was good and everyone was friendly. Overall, I'm glad I gave it a try and can say I experienced it, but it's probably not somewhere I'd revisit.

Stoked to have another great restaurant downtown and Kuya exceeded my expectations! The chicken rice bowl was delicious and truly "falling off the bone" as the menu states. The halo halo dessert was different but very tasty. My friend got the pork dish and omg, it is a must! We sat at the bar and service was great, everyone was super friendly. Music was also 10/10. I can't wait to go back and try more!!

Food was amazing!!! The chicken was tender and rice was perfectly cooked! I got one of their cocktails as a mocktail and it was very refreshing. Everyone was nice and vibes were so open. Definitely will be back and need to go at night for a Dj set

As a fan of both Jollibee and lumpia, get the lumpia. We ordered one of everything on the menu and three orders of the lumpia. Incredibly good food and great cocktails!

Great atmosphere, music and customer service. I ordered a cocktail it was delicious. Then the Kinilaw, what a great dish, this will be my go to dish!! Then pandit, I was too full so took it to go!!! Will definitely be back! Wonderful addition to Main Street.

We tried this spot for date night and we really enjoyed both dishes. Definitely one of those places you leave excited to come back and try more on the menu. The service was great too--super friendly and made the whole experience even better. Looking forward to more!

I have been here multiple times and enjoyed all the menu items I have tried. I love the chicken wings. They are fried well and seasoned to perfection. I ordered the rice bowl this time. It was good but not my fav dish. The dumplings were tasty too. Service was very good. Our waitress was nice and helpful. Decor is very unique and pleasant to admire. I will return to get those chicken wings for sure.

When you walk in you'll check in with the host to be seated. The restaurant feels like a super cute, casual ramen shop vibe right in the heart of Memphis. For food we started by ordering the crawfish dumplings (crawfish, shrimp, cream cheese & togarashi). The dumplings were good, almost like a take on a Crab Rangoon but with shrimp and crawfish. For entrees my partner ordered the Big City Ramen (chicken broth, chicken thigh, ajitama, corn & menma) and I ordered the Spicy Pork Ramen (miso broth, pork chashu, soft egg, scallion, nori). The Big City ramen had a really good balance of flavors and wasn't too spicy. The spicy pork ramen was good but a bit like on the spicy side. For dessert we ordered the Thai tea dessert which was really well balanced and a perfect way to the end the meal. Highly recommend stopping by Good Fortune if you are in the Memphis area.
