I see the bad reviews but I am here on vacation having previously lived on the Island, I didn't know they had a shop on the island and didn't feel like going to Port A to get my nose pierced so not knowing I stupidly went to 12 gauge in corpus and got my nose pierced by Jaye. Not only was it done in the wrong place but was majorly infected just two days after getting it done. Went to get the rig replaced by Jaye at the time she told me to be there. Waited TWO hours for her to show and she didn't nor was the shop open at 2 like they said it would be. Went to Kustom ink to get it changed out to find out how badly infected it was and in the wrong place. Paid to have it completely cleaned out and couldn't get it redone yet. Hurt badly but the ladies in the shop were so NICE and CARING! I would highly recommend them I have to update. I went to the ER after my experience at the other shop. The doctor told me had Danni at Kustom Ink not done such an amazing job cleaning out the infection I would be being admitted. I was diagnosed with staph and Danni saved my life! Jeremy is wonderful and cares so much about his staff and their quality of work and it shows! He also cares so much about his clients and runs his business with his family in mind which means he truly has his heart and soul in his company. Danni is amazing, she was so loving and attentive and I am so blessed she was working the day I came in! My piercing she did the next day doesn't even hurt and looks beautiful! If you go in I recommend seeing her!!! They are such a clean shop and it is obvious when you enter through the doors! Danni is also a certified EMT so that heightens her knowledge to do amazing work! I can not recommend Kustom Ink enough! read more

My daughter has wanted a tattoo for a very long time, two little entwined hearts near her heart to symbolize our relationship, we are very close and we have been through so much together that she wanted to commemorate this. She asked me if I would do this with her and of course I said yes. We went to Allie, who was kind, personable, listened to her , didn't make her feel stupid or silly for being afraid of needles and asking questions. We had been to a few other tattoo shops where she felt either intimidated or looked down upon and Allie didn't make her feel like that so she was very comfortable and excited with this first little tattoo that she got it. It was exactly what my daughter wanted, no more and no less and I have the matching one now as well so we are very happy campers.. I have recommended Allie to another friend who wants to get a tattoo but is afraid :-), and my daughter's friends also are being referred to her. When the time comes to embellish it and make it larger or more colorful, we'll definitely go back there. read more

I'm on my Spring Break vacation and I asked a lot of people what would be a good place to get a tattoo and they recommended Kustom Ink. So I went in and was greeted in such a good manner and was taken really good care of. I debated on what I wanted and was asked if I wanted the 11 time award winning celebrity artist or the guy he trained really well. Well my friend was with me and she decided he was going to get a tattoo from the guy he trained and I get the celebrity artist since it was my birthday :) so, we made our appointments went back to the shop and got what we were looking for but much more than what we expected it to be. They came out much better than we imagined. We are so satisfied of the work we got done. I am coming back again for more. They're someone I can trust and who are very, very clean. Phenomenal work from Mr. Jeremy Anderson (11 time award winning celebrity artist) and Mr. Chris Kurtz both of you gentlemen did a wonderful job. We'll be back for my free touch up and for more work we love you guys!!! read more

Me and my husband came in to get tattoos on vacation and we were driving around Port Aransas! We seen a sign for Kustom ink and decided to check it out. We called to make sure they were open and Jeremy answered he was at his new location because the location that was in port a was closed down due to damage front Harvey.. we were more than willing to take the 20 min drive to his new location.!!! We showed up and had a great time!! While my husband was choosing what he wanted I knew what I wanted and Jeremy started drawing the tattoo up and we began with my tattoo first!! My tattoo turned amazing!!! I couldn't ask for anything better!!! My husband found what he wanted and then Jeremy started my husband tattoo!! Again beautiful artwork and tattooing!!! Thanks again to Jeremy for a great experience and the great atmosphere!!! We defiantly appreciate everything and will defiantly come back for a touch up and more work!!!! Highly recommended!!!! read more

My boyfriend and I both got a tattoo from Jeremy Anderson last week and we had a great experience. Jeremy was very friendly and professional and answered all of our questions. I was listening as Jeremy turned away someone who was too young to get a tattoo (even with his mom there to give permission) and didn't make them feel bad about coming in. He was showing a new employee how to fill out paperwork and was very thorough in making sure all of the laws were followed to the letter. His shop is clean and inviting and he is an amazing artist. I got a small tattoo and my boyfriend got almost a half sleeve that was very detailed and took several hours. Jeremy was just as concerned that I liked my small tat as he was that my boyfriend liked his. We are definitely going to go back and get another tattoo. I would highly recommend this shop! This place is awesome! We were just checking on pricing and ended up with 5 people in our group getting tattoos! Fantastic work and super cool. We will definitely be back again and again! I personally believe the bad reviews on here are from the sub-par tattoo shop next door that offer inferior "discount" tattoos. Kustom Ink Tattoos is both friendly and completely professional. We had 5 people all getting custom tattoos done. They were very patient with us while also giving us an extremely quality product. But you don't have to take my word for it. Go in and check them out. Ask to go back into the rooms and see their artwork. Ask them about their awards. Let them speak for themselves. You won't be sorry! read more

This guy rocks, I took a photo-copy of a tigers face to him and he said yes right off the block, took it and the original home and reproduced it fantastically. I'd originally thought to just have it just b/w, but Jeremey added a few splashes of color (approved before hand) that really enhanced the final tattoo. see photo Jeremey is a laid back dude that has a real passion for his art and profession. Kustom Ink is Jeremey's brand new (i.e. a week old) tattoo parlor located across the street from our favorite bar Bernies (another review some time) where I just got a touch-up. It's located in a former bank location (yes there is a walk-in vault/safe ! how cool is that ! I'll add more later Jim read more

Went to get my first tattoo (a real tattoo not henna) and did some research. Had heard great things about this place so figured why not. I went in with an idea and met Jeremy. He took my idea and after talking to me for about 5 minutes he designed something beautiful that was so me. He kept me laughing the whole time and kept my mind of the fact I was getting my first tattoo. The tattoo turned out amazing and I have been getting numerous compliments. The whole experience was great and I would completely recommend this place to anyone. Had the chance to meet all of the artists and each were friendly and I am sure would do an amazing job. read more

THIEF!!! Said 48 hours after a $500 deposit drawing would be rendered. After a week of being blown off I go back in to see he is just starting and listened to none of what was discussed. When this was brought to his attention he acts as if I cussed his mom out. I politely told him he was not listening to me. He looses it and says " NO YOURE NOT LISTENING TO ME!!!!" At that point I knew that this is not going to work. He refused to give the deposit back. Thank God I didnt agree to his pitch of giving him cash to "save the tax". I have since opened a case with the bank and police department. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

the owner is terrible. other employee quoted me $50 for a small tattoo and when i came back to get it the owner was there and said minimum $101. I mentioned how i was quoted $50 and he acted like a an empowered jack ass. no wonder they are losing business. picking arguments and acting like you are better than everyone is going to get your business no where. also he wasn't wearing a mask while we are in mid pandemic so that is classy. rip off and his own personal tattoos were all done poorly so probably better off that he was rude enough to make customers leave. completely demeaning to women, ridiculous and unprofessional. read more

Really love my tattoo from Kustom Ink!! Got my sunken ship and I am ecstatic by it!! Defiantly coming back for more and for my free touch up. very nice and clean place, and to the comment below about their Henna, my son came with me to get one and It was really good, doesn't look like marker art, it came out really good and dark. He was happy with it and I was too and I wasn't the one who got it on me. Lay back on these people they're very nice and try their hardest to deal with people. Especially a swarm of them. They're the #1 shop in Port Aransas and in my book! Thanks, A very Happy Customer read more

I got a mother daughter tattoo with my mom, it's my first one, and Alley Sinn was the best. Since it was my first, Alley calmed me down, and she didn't make me feel like I was being overly dramatic, which I probably was to be honest. I have a fear of needles, but Alley didn't make me feel like it stupid, which others have told me before that I was just being baby. Alley understood. My mom and I hit it off with her right away, and like I said, she was just fantastic. I am planning on getting at least 2 others eventually, and I will be coming to Alley when I'm ready. read more

We stopped by here on vacation because my teens wanted to get henna tattoos. After talking with the owner, Jeremy, they decided on alternative color tattoos. He was very nice and very helpful and explained to them how they worked and how to make them last. They both picked small ones and the cost was less than $50.00 for all of it. He treated the kids the same as he would treat a client paying hundreds of dollars for a real tattoo. When my husband and I decide to get new ink, we will definitely be going here!! read more

My girlfriend and I walked into Kustom Ink Saturday while visiting Port Aransas. We were greeted by the owner Jeremy, and his staff. The shop was clean and they were very helpful in showing my girl what she asked for (A sea turtle) We sighed a deal made an appointment to have it done at 7. Jeremy did an awesome job. She was and is exited to come back for several more Turtles. We will be road trip-pen back from League City (a 4 hour drive) in about 6 months to do it again. Jeremy did an unbelievable job on my Aquarius tattoo! I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing some TOP NOTCH ink! He was extremely professional, slightly funny & the shop was sparkling clean. I have zero complaints & will definitely be coming back for more! What shocked me was their broad selection of CBD in stock! I thought it was reasonably priced compared to other places & it really helps me with my back pain. Kustom Ink Tattoo is definitely the classiest tattoo parlor in Nueces County! read more

I went to Kustom Ink while I was on vacation / seeing family. I talked with Danny about having a tattoo on my right shoulder covered up and he showed me some of his cover-up work. I was really impressed by the work and detail that was put into his art. We agreed on a design and he went to town. He had my cover-up knocked out in 2.5 hour with just one break in the session. My new ink looks great and I definitely recommend hitting him up if your in the Port Aransas area. read more
