So, ya want some ink? When the urge to get fresh ink hits, you definitely wanna to keep a few things in mind and do a little research. Are they established? Are their artists posting their work? Is it CLEAN! Is it a "tourist" type of joint ... or are their locals going there to get their work done? Well let me tell ya, Electra Art ... checks off all the boxes! I was referred there by locals who visit regularly. Upon entering, a clean, classic tattoo parlor vibe was very prevalent, but not on steroids. I was greeted by (and subsequently worked on) by Danni. **Quick aside, Danni is THE lady ya want doin your work. She's no nonsense, gives it to ya straight but has a light hand and her work is straight legit! No shade on the other artists ... but she was mine and she's awesome!** The space is well lit, clean and the artists have their own spaces which affords some privacy. Danni was very open to what I wanted and walked me through the necessary tweaks to make my idea land right on the skin! She explained every step and executed like a champ! We talked during the process and got to know each other. She gave clear instructions and the entire process went smoothly. All in all, a great experience from a great artist at the oldest tat joint in Corpus Christi! Thanks Danni!!! Thanks Electra Art!!! read more

Elizabeth is a great piercer! She's so sweet, welcoming and helpful. I will continue to go to her for all my piercing needs.

I have been meaning to make a review for a while now, but I've gotten 4 tattoos done by Arnold, and he's an awesome guy! He does great tattoos and gives me what I want in one session and it's amazing! We did a cover up and 3 of the tattoos I've been wanting, the prices are very reasonable. I also got 2 piercings here and the piercer was so nice! I forgot her name but she made sure I was taken care of with the piercings I wanted and for a great price too. I love this place and recommend it to everyone I know! read more

Only writing this now because awareness needs to be spread! They have a guy working here by the name of Mike, not sure last name. He is a very manipulative older guy preying on young women! After tattooing me he creepily asked to take my pictures and insisted on getting my number to pursue what he called a "friendship." I know he personally tattoos after hours, and will exchange tattoo services for "pictures" whatever that means. Please moms, ladies, please watch out for this guy! Tried calling to leave a complaint not sure what happen. Sure owner knows none of this was a very nice reputable man when I met him! Just want awareness bought to this. He even took a picture he had taken of me for "reference" and hung up in his work station! Very inappropriate. read more

While vacationing my daith piercing fell out. I needed to get something right away so it wouldn't close up. They had a great selection to choose from. The lady that helped me was very knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend! read more

Rafael was super awesome, did exactly what I wanted, he was fast, very caring and did a great job at making me feel comfortable considering it was my first tattoo, 11/10 would recommend this place. Very clean, cute on the inside and very friendly staff, prices are also great. Definitely reflecting on their work. read more

Worse customer service, especially from the receptionist. Called beforehand to ask if they were available to do 3 small dime sized tattoos, said yes. Drove there got in around 9:30 and was greeted by some bitch who kept pestering around and wanted to know specifically what tattoos we wanted. Told her the designs we wanted and she got irritated and said they weren't able to fit all 3 tattoo sessions in. We left saying we'll come back tomorrow and was mocked by a worker as we walked out the door. We never came back. Maybe this place is racist again non-hispanics. I don't know what their problem is. I mean, it's a 5-10 minute tattoo for like $20-35 bucks per tat, easily could make $100 in an hour. Too bad so sad! read more

I came in here as a walk in to see The talented Matthew Rosas, I described what I was wanting and he drew it out in no longer than 15 exactly what I envisioned. I am so so happy that I came here to get my tattoo, I love it and Matthew is absolutely a skilled artist, not to mention, quick. I highly recommend this place and this artist. read more

This place has a great vibe, when my boyfriend and I went in with our young children to get her ears pierced, we had no dirty looks, everyone was very cool. My daughter had her ear piercer, Greg I think, and their was a guy with a mustache and maybe another guy that came up when we first came in. But I imagine these different reviews are dealing with different people, just a thought. But anyway my daughter she got her first ear pierced and was not wanting to get the second one done... he said he could do a smaller needle *wink wink, she didn't like that still, then he said he could put some 'numbing cream' on it, * wink wink (of course he didn't), but him pretending that made the second ear piercing not hurt for her, power of the mind lol. But we will DEFINITELY be coming back. Thanks guys! read more

My cancer diagnosis came on the 20th of October and 9 days later my daughter and I were getting matching tattoos. Brian has done some great work for me in the past but this one was even more special, my daughter's first tattoo. We decided it was going to be Faith over fear with the pink BC awareness ribbon in the word faith (simple yet so powerful). He was great as usual and made our special day even more memorable. Thank you !!! read more

Called to ask if they had friday the 13th specials Didnt. Want a $20 tattoo but a special. They could not be more rude read more

I don't know how this place has such good reviews. My husband and I walked in and was treated like we didn't belong, that we didn't know anything about tattoos and was grossly over estimated on pricing for a very simple tat. They were also rude and bit condescending. Hope all their regulars and their families keep them in business, because they aren't getting new people with their attitude. read more

After care for body piercings can vary. When you live in a salty climate, seasalt is a bit excessive. Salt dries out skin causeing your body to send excess oils to the dried out area for a piercing; this can trap bacteria in the wound site. So for Corpus Christi, Dial Soap not only kills bacteria, but is gentle on the wound site. If you're going to do your research on aftercare, dig a little deeper. read more

My daughter, who is 6, wanted to get her ears pierced. We did not want to get it done with those dirty piercing guns! Gary was awesome!! He was fun and friendly with her and made the whole process as painless as possible for her. read more

Unprofessional!!! So yesterday was my 27th birthday and I wanted to get some fresh ink to celebrate. My mom set up an appointment at 3pm. Shortly after arriving at 3 our artist Brian approached us and told us he was running about an hour behind so if we wanted to come back at 4. At about 4:15 his customer came out and visited the atm. He then spent the next 30 minutes sitting and talking with this customer even though he knew we were waiting. Did I mention my mom was there with me and was also going to get some new ink. We decided to just leave but I will never return to this shop or support it. The owner (or I think it was the owner) was the most polite person in the building other than that all of the employees kinda looked at us like we were in the way. I guess I just don't understand the point of an appointment if this is gonna happen. I had $500 cash in my pocket I was looking to drop....your loss guys! read more

Amazing customer service! Got my nose pierced here and everything was so clean. The lady who did it was super sweet. Well priced as well!

Roy did my tattoo, unfortunately I didn't get a picture of it before i got it covered up but, I wanted a lion with roses, the roses were beautiful but the lion 'mane' didn't have any detail to it it looked like little sticks poking out of the lions head very poorly tattooed also the lion eyes were completely different one was oval while the other was circle it looked retarded unfortunately I got it late at night and the next day I didn't have time to go to the tattoo shop before I left back home * I was in for vacation* after I got back home I had to go to my regular tattoo guy wait 6 weeks for it to heal then pay 700$ to get it covered, while I payed 220 there cash with no receipt *my fault I didn't ask for one* I'd recommend you ask for a receipt if you get a tattoo here but, below you will see a picture of what I wanted, a picture of the before color and the final cover up while it's still healing and peeling. read more

Have been coming to this shop for the last 24 years. Only place in town I will go to . Great family owned business. Highly recommend.

I have been to several tattoo places in the past and this is the best I have found. Everyone is always friendly and they treat you like family. I have spent quite a lot of time there on my current tattoo and anytime anyone walks in they are greeted in a very friendly manner. I went in for a small coverup on an old faded tattoo. I was so impressed that little tattoo has expanded over my chest and half my back. Very highly recommended. If you don't' give these guy a chance your are doing yourself an injustice. read more

This is an amazing place. For all the bad reviews I don't understand why? People that are artist aren't super preppy. I go in and get my piercing's done here, so does my sister we love it! This place is super clean and Garry the piercer does an awesome job! He is very precise and wants to make sure his clients are happy with his work. Okay!!! Literally just left and they really put a smile on my face!! I went in because my crappy hot topic hoop wasn't doing it anymore. They only had one hoop left so they decided to put it in my nose. To our surprise the hoop wouldn't go in because I had tissue built up from my nose being irritated. Since they couldn't get it in they put a stud in my nose and only charged me for the hoop! The woman who helped me was extremely helpful and constantly checked up on me to make sure I was okay. I'm not from here but everytime I'm in corpus I will make sure to stop here every time!! read more

I came to this place to get a tattoo with my wife. We had an appointment with John. We walked in and were told that he was running behind and it would be a little bit. *2 hours later* I finally get in the chair and he puts on the stencil. His artwork is amazing. This is why I don't feel too bad giving this place one star because I can't give zero like I want to. They are sanitary so no worries there. But then comes in the ten ton hand. Very, very heavy handed. Maybe it's because he was in a rush, who knows. Then as we are talking, he told me he was running behind because he had a walk-in before me and he couldn't refuse and really wanted to do it....are you kidding me? Then comes the icing on the cake, he scarred not just me but a bit of my wife's too. Color is horrendous, line work is shotty, and shading leaves much to be desired. But hey! He told me touch ups are always free.... All in all, please save your money and go elsewhere or use another artist. This guy should stick to painting and drawing. read more
