Once we figured out there were a few crossing points it was pretty easy to find the car in the correct meeting spot. The full day coastal tour was packed with beautiful vistas, historical sites, gardens,beaches and natural habitats. We had frequent stops along the way to stretch our legs and take in the sites. Bring your camera and a hat and be ready for a day of touring the scenic San Diego coast. Definitely will do a trip with Morty again and maybe visit some of the other trip options he does. After a quick and easy walk through customs, Uncle Jose met us right across the street and got the day started smoothly. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel comfortable right away. He guided us through a mix of local shops and restaurants, then gave us the flexibility to visit the spots we specifically wanted. We made our way to Puerto Nuevo for lobster, which absolutely lived up to the hype, and of course stopped at Restaurante Caesar's--the birthplace of the Caesar salad--which was a highlight of the trip. Uncle Jose took great care of us throughout the day and made the experience easy and enjoyable. If you are able to walk across the border and walk back or take a $10 shuttle back into the US, ask for Uncle Jose a warm and knowledgeable local that will take great care of you. I can't remember her name but she was an older lady who have done tours for many years with other companies before. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to assist with almost everything. Personally, it was just for experience for me so I can say I've been to Tijuana. There's nothing to do and not much to see other than statues. If you want to see what's across the boarder, I think this would be a great experience. The shops that they recommended did do nothing for me. Dusty leathered goods and a pushy sales woman which I can honestly respect. I enjoyed my 2 authentic tacos that was included in the tour fee and I purchase a margarita.
