After almost a month without a refund, they became impossible to contact. We finally filed a suit against them, which scared them enough to return the money. Judging by other reviews, this is not the first time they have done this to someone.

I had mentioned many times to optimize…read morethe boxes weight close to 50 lb to help me account for the shipping labels (that were bought as per weight) but boxes even as light as 10 lb were packed and these variations costed me a lot of money for something that I could pay much lesser. 3. It is common sense to pack food and home supplies separately to avoid any spillage but after receiving the box, I understood that the packers lacked it. Needless to say a lot of my food bought from my own country had to be thrown in the garbage. 4. Due to improper packing, my boxes were held by the USPS and repacked by them which caused some items to go missing from their center. 5. I had clearly mentioned that everything either goes in boxes or suitcases. It can be verified that a lot of my clothes were just moved into a "black cloth bag". On calling to rectify this mistake I was addressed with an arrogant tone without an apology, although it was rectified that night as per their convenience. 6. I wonder how this one happened - My daughter's boots come in two different boxes which again were delivered to me on two different days. 7. I guess this is the last one yet most important, my glassware reached me all in small pieces since they packed GLASSWARE in PAPER!!!! $125 is not a small amount for packing materials. One star for being timely (despite getting out of my apartment twice to deal with 'other work'). NEVER EVER EVER HIRE THEM!

I had worked with Storage Squad once a couple of years ago and had been an easy process but wow…read morehave things changed. I had to be calling nonstop for two months to get ANY sort of support/guidance/resolution on some lost packages. On Storage Squad's website they mention that they have to be the ones to file a claim to UPS, yet, the email that they provide to request such a thing does not respond. Storage squad's support email never provides an answer. And when talking to customer support they don't know what I'm talking about. I literally had to guide them ON THEIR OWN website. They didn't even file the claim at the end! After UPS returned some sort of money I had to be the one to call storage squad to get any sort of reimbursement and had to call multiple times for it. Rather than them giving me ANY updates on said reimbursements or communications with UPS. The customer service system they have in place (not the agents) simply sucks. They have to be in constant contact with a superior because they don't know how to solve the issues at hand. Further, when they say they will call back with an update at the end of the day they NEVER do. Further I don't know who is placing the labels on shipped packages but DO BETTER all of my lost packages were because the label came off I was told after some were found. When I first commisioned using Storage Squad they did not even tell me that my things would be shipped with UPS and alas suddenly they were. The transparency and responsibility is fully lacking. Moving is already stressful and widly expensive enough, the things that storage/moving boxes carry are PRECIOUS for their owners and working with such an irresponsible, unclear, and unresponsive company is an absolute nightmare. I'm so dissapointed in the whole process and service that I received.

When it didn't arrive he called, and called, and emailed, and called. After a month of calling he was finally informed that they concluded they can't find it and I need to file a claim. The maximum compensation for a claim is $100. Not nearly enough to cover the cost of a mountain bike. So Storage Squad can basically lose or steal a bike and offer peanuts as compensation. I am sure in many cases they meet customers expectations but in this case I am out several hundred dollars. Not once did the company call me back after many inquiries. Very disappointing.
