They try to upsell you on everything and try to scare you into treatments that would cost thousands.

I sat in the dentist chair for an hour and they did nothing but take a bunch of xrays which seemed unnecessary since she didn't do anything. I was there for a deep teeth cleaning and they did nothing but waste my time and tell me that they could not fix my tooth that they told me needed a filling. I would not recommend her to anyone. This is the second appt I had where they did nothing but tell me to see a different dentist to have my teeth looked at, I have dental insurance and this is a big waste of time. I get the point you do nothing but waste both of our time. I live 45 min. away from this dentist office. I will find a new dentist.

I had a root canal and still ended up losing the tooth a few months later. I know this happens…read more They were friendly and its ok. I was upset that I had the root canal and before I left, I was asked for a $250 co-pay. They were lucky I had it. The lady told me when I called to question it that if I had read the paperwork I signed, I would have seen there was a copay. The "paperwork" was on a tablet and the wifi shut down three time while I was filling it out and had to start from scratch so again, I guess I can say my fault but a simple heads up would have been appreciated. Then I started getting bills for the remainder of the payment which again I had no idea about. The tooth really wasn't that important. I made a payment arrangement and the payments are automatically taken out of my bank monthly. I am still getting demanding statements saying payment due now or face collections and must pay within 30 days to avoid further action. I'm on a payment arrangement!!! What more do you want?? It's just bad customer service. The harassment isnt necessary.

My son broke 2 teeth in half down and chipped another tooth. We called around and found a dentist…read moreand APD. We have seen another APD so chose this office. I called APD and told them the problem (emergency broken in half teeth causing immense pain), that we needed to confirm that they could take him soon and do it all because I did find a dentist who could but wanted him to see a pediatric dentist if he could. They agreed by phone, before the apt to take out both teeth and address the chipped one so my son would no longer be in agony over them. They said they had more than enough time to do so due to a cancellation. We waited 2 days and showed up. My son fully cooperated, the doctor quickly, roughly gave him the shot, then removed only one broken in half tooth and announced he would not complete the job with the other teeth because he had "had a day already". The assistant then said they were also booked too close to another apt they just took that day to fill the spot for routine care so my son's emergency care was being cut short to give that time needed for a routine visit apt! She went onto to say "people like us" should just feel grateful for whatever we got since we got lucky with the time being open for anything just 2 days prior when we called because that rarely happens, then she insulted me and told me I should just take my son the hell home and they could possibly get him in for the rest the next week but to check the woman at the exit desk! I asked the front desk woman if I could speak to the doctor about it and she told me "whatever upset her, is probably your fault". I was blown away by the horrible attitude and lack of professionalism all around. Why on Earth would an office be so rude, why would a doctor announce after one tooth is extracted that they are not doing the other emergency extraction to the tooth next to the one they removed instead of informing ahead of time to the parent, and why would they book routine care into an emergency apt spot then give it priority over the child in a dental emergency? I called the backup dentist I had at another office and they took care of my son the next day. My son was in the car crying all the way home from APD because he was in pain from his tooth still and because he didn't understand why they took on tooth and not the other to stop the pain.

The Receptionist who answered was short and unhelpful, I just feel like when someone has been a…read morepatient for 10 or more years there should be some kindness and understanding that life happens and things can get chaotic and things can get missed. it would be nice to receive a text or a letter in the mail if you haven't heard from a patient who has been with you for a long time and if you really cared about a child's dental health even offering a referral to another dentist would be helpful if your refusing to see the child. My mom tried making a appointment for me but was told I couldn't come back due to one appointment missed. I think this shows a lack of professionalism and empathy. I've been coming to this dentist since I was toddler and for them to treat us this poorly is highly surprising. I hope you guys at the Associated Pediatric Dentistry review your terms and policies.
