Dr. Don Gilbert is a brilliant human being. I have been meeting with him for a couple of months…read morenow and I have learned so much from our sessions. He is super blunt, and a bold realist. There is no coddling and certainly no skirting around the issues you present. His style of therapy is for people who want to take a cold, hard look at themselves and really do the work that it takes for self improvement to manifest. His education and background are impressive, and I would recommend his services to anyone looking for a good therapist.

Dr. Steffensmeier is great. When I've gone to chiropractors in the past it feels like I'm meeting…read morewith a snake oil sales man, but not here. He doesn't rack up a bill with X-rays and pushing for you to come in 20 times in a week. He will let you know if you should come back, but you don't feel the typical pressure like at most chrios. I have popped in from time to time when I've had some back or neck pain and after a few visits he has me up and running again. He also uses Muscle stimulation which I find helps greatly. The office is located in a easy to get to location so if you work downtown your in and out in about 15-20 min. He does allow walk-ins, and excepts many forms of insurance. I can say that I would like to see one thing added. If he could rent out space to a massage therapist that would be awesome. Someone that could do a quick 15-30 min session. They also have a great friendly staff.

This practice literally helped us get our daughter back! Although her ultimate diagnosis meant…read morethings that we were experiencing behaviorally, were medical in nature, we had no idea and ended up going the Psych route first. Although it was a challenge finding any openings we now feel fortunate that we waited the time we needed to in order to get in here. As her behaviors had already caused so much damage to her at school as other kids had started picking on her (age 7) relentlessly to point that she was found drawing pictures of killing herself (her standing next to a chair & noose or another one- a gun with her laying in a pool of blood with a gun laying next to her. My heart still breaks thinking about it- & tears swell) so we felt so good about already starting the evaluation process. Dr. Kellie Hill did an outstanding job of dealing with her, us, and the entire, albeit difficult, went well for us. It was during the process of having her assessed that we discovered she tested positive for PANDAS. Both treatments (psychological & medical) brought our daughter back to us! She is now a thriving, positively beautiful, active almost 17 year old! We maintain regular telehealth visits with Dr. Kent Kunze & are always so pleased with the treatment we get from him! He is thorough & extremely knowledgeable! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you've done for our daughter!

He shared that he grew up in Ankeny, moved out of state for a while and decided to return. I received a foot scan and a full body scan to assess overall health. Not a surprise to me that my feet are extremely flat and I need to lose weight and gain more muscle. But it was nice to have a baseline going into the new year. I didnt get an adjustment but did learn that he uses a laser to activate nerves that might not be firing properly. He had me try it out (you don't feel anything, just lay there with it pointed toward you) and the aches I had before the treatment were gone. And I would say it lasted for about an hour.

I had cancer and also have it again and Dr Munro was/is always there for me. He is kind, considerate, caring, professional and has much empathy. He listens when I need to talk, sends me wherever I need to go. I had a meltdown and called the office and they asked him if he could squeeze me in and he said of course. He doesn't even mind my crazy. I wouldn't ever see anyone else. I hope he is my Doctor for the rest of my life, because I don't want to start over with someone else. I'm not sure I'd be here if it weren't for Dr Munro. I also see Kim, the therapist and she is wonderful, she listens, talks things out with me. She's the best. I also want to say that Diana (Dr Munro's nurse and Amy the other nurse are so kind and thoughtful. Bailey Webb treats my son and husband and she has always been helpful. The girls at the front desk are always pleasant and professional. I absolutely love this office and I hope it never changes. Sometimes you get what you get by the attitude you present, if you go in all crabby and demanding, you're probably not gonna get the best care you want, they will try, but you won't think it was. So, go in with knowing that they are human and so have bad days, probably because of a difficult patient... so try and give them a break or a second chance.

Unprofessional and rude! We tried many times and to get documentation from Dr. Munro and the clinic…read moreto get paperwork in a timely manner which was not done when needed and we requested to speak with the clinic manager on numerous occasions by email, voicemails and other means which never happened and no call from them. Dr Munro kept asking for visits to have paperwork filled out that we needed and charged our insurance when the specific paperwork was not sent over until multiple emails and calls were made to only be placed on hold for over 5 minutes each time and no one would answer and then calling back to be placed on hold even when told no when asked to hold and that I didn't want to be placed on hold and Bree would place me on hold anyways. I sent an email and left a voicemail for Dr. Munros nurse to call me back as we just needed confirmation that the doctors were sent and the fax confirmation with information and documents sent directly to us. That wad finally done 2 days after my 3rd visit by Dr. Monroe as he called us back hours later as he was just now faxing over the information information that we needed and that was two days after our appointment with him to get the exact documentation. Nothing like milking our insurance company for unnecessary visits. And then the doctor wants to terminate our relationship because they couldn't follow through with getting the documentation sent over when we originally had our visits! We never received a phone call from the clinic manager or clinic Director as we requested this numerous times by emails and calls to get this issue resolved and to get feedback. The nurse should've sent the information over the day of the appointment which never happened. The doctor was sending it two days later when we finally got a phone call from him!! the only thing that Monroe wanted to do for long Covid say to drink enough water, eat well and get enough sleep. seriously?! no other treatment is available out there for this?? this clinic will be one that I tell everybody to stay away from! If you're seeking Long Covid treatment, this is not the doctor that you want to see! They don't follow through with the things as they should in a timely manner and the only treatment they recommend is what a normal physician would recommend. Ridiculous! And to say that I was abusive to staff to say "No" to being placed on hold is a lie!! I terminate my relationship with Dr. Munro as he is not someone I would recommend to anybody and exaggerated the truth to what really happened and is only covering for his nurse not doing her job to send what I needed over on Monday when I had my appointment as that wasn't done even by Wednesday when I sent emails and then started calling. Why would I want to continue to see somebody that doesn't take care of my needs as a customer for a service that I have paid for. Possibly insurance fraud? 3 visits for paperwork seems a bit extreme... and to get the correct paperwork? Sounds a little excessive to me!! If I could give them a -5 stars, I would!!
