It's on a cute little main street area on King St W. The inside has a similar aesthetic to the other locations with the deer theme, brick wall, etc. My favourite drink from The Alley is their Royal #9 and this location made it well! Sometimes, the occasional location doesn't make it with that strong distinct blueberry milk tea taste but my husband and I agreed that this one was on point! This location also looked like it had the full menu like other The Alley locations. Staff here were quick and efficient, which was great as we are used to waiting a while at other locations. The drink was ready in a matter of minutes since we happened to come when it wasn't busy. I would definitely come back to this location when I'm in the area again!

The dine in area is closed and the restaurant is set up for strictly take out. I got the Deerioca Puff which basically the popular Deerioca Fever but with custard pudding to create a crème brûlée-like flavour. I love the alley for the fact that most of their ingredients are made from scratch, including their deerioca and sugarcane syrup!

Can't say this enough, but it was worth the wait. The workers were very knowledgeable about their teas. The drink itself was amazing! The tea house is along Kerr street, I would actually say the more busy part as there are a few well known restaurants in this area. The parking situation is in fact paid unless you make a visit after 6pm or on Sundays. So I made a visit on a weekday night around 5:30/6pm and they weren't crazy busy but had a decent flow of customers. I do like how visual the drinks are as there are a number of posters showing what each drinks look like. I opted for the recommended drinks which are marked on their menu. I got the lychee dragon fruit green tea as I was trying to avoid the dairy beverages. This choice was yummy and very refreshing! The hubs ordered the mango green tea and he also really liked it. There was a mishap with the ice level but the staff rectified it immediately - great customer service! Did I mention that I made another visit the very next day? I sure did, but tried something different, the Deluxe Purple Yam. I did like it but it was certainly too milky for me

There is a lot of tables for 2s, 4s, 8s, and the area right by the front cafe is somewhat closed off as well as a long wing on the side for larger groups. Along the walls are local artworks and trinkets for sale as well as store merchandise and other items. There is pizza, coffee, FUN! drinks, snacks, and baked goods at the front. During our visit, although we only had the drinks, many others had pizza, baked goods, etc. during their time hanging out and playing games. (They also offer a stamp card for drinks.) It looks like there are scheduled events for those that aren't as further afield as our group. For us, it was a nice stop between friends where we could meetup and hangout without travelling too far. Parking was plentiful. The service was great, the owners were both there and we were impressed by the quick service and help with the games. The game selection is moderate, they have all the classics and popular games like catan, wingspan, etc. as well as smaller box games like Sabobatage. Some games had copies as well so you don't have to wait too long for your favorites. Would visit again to enjoy games and snacks with friends again in this wonderful third space.

(Although I am happy to say, they now have lactose free milk!!)

There is also a bubble tea menu which I hope to explore the next time I'm up this way. We ordered "a brownie thing" on a signature buttermilk waffle with vanilla ice cream. (They also offer green tea and charcoal ice cream flavors). As you can see in the photo, the waffle was a decent size and was enough to share (if that's what you so choose to do). The customer service was pretty good, the aroma of the fresh waffles was amazing and the interior was stylish and welcoming. I highly recommend!

There were maybe 2-3 other tables that were taken. It does seem like a really nice place to study. The place is clean, with soft lighting, and lots of outlets! We ordered a Belgian waffle, with soft serve ice cream, & the mango cheesecake as topping. The total came to $15 which was a little surprising. The food took a little longer than expected. But it came out looking great. The swirl was sesame & vanilla which had hints of both flavors; subtle and not too sweet but it was a little icey rather than creamy. The waffle was fluffy. I did not like the mango or the cheesecake as they tasted somewhat stale. Overall, I think for $15 it was pricey and I would prefer heading to Toronto for a egg waffle for $3 instead.
