Parking was simple enough and free, albeit a little tight. I love the moody but light interior of this restaurant. It's not particularly upscale, but it is on the nicer end of a casual restaurant. Seating is tight but it didn't detract from the experience. Our table was a little wobbly, though. The bathrooms are tucked away in the very back of the restaurant and were tidy and clean with a nice design. The food was truly delicious. The bao duo was a great starter. We got one with pork, the other chicken. I appreciated that the flavor profiles of each were so different! We also tried the umami rice bowl... perfect seasoning and portion for an app. For ramen I had the truffle shoyu and husband had a spicy tonkotsu. We both added extra protein (pork) because most ramen places play around with the meat portion LOL. But the noodles, the egg, and all the accoutrements were texturally excellent. SO GOOD. They have a few beers on tap, a decent cocktail menu and wine. I grabbed a SauviB and hubs had a beer. It was the perfect balance to all the delicious umami flavors we experienced. Service was lovely as the place is small, and everything was clean. Our tab ran us about $88 before tip so come ready to spend. But the quality was worth it! I'll return when I'm craving ramen.

The broth was flavorful, the noodles were good, and the pork was delicious. My issue was that there was barely any broth -- maybe about a cup -- and it didn't even fill the bowl halfway. For the price, I definitely expected more broth and a little more pork. The flavor was absolutely there, but the portion just didn't match what I paid. I'd probably order it again because it tasted good, but I'd hope for a more generous serving next time.

This isn't just good "for the area," this is genuinely competitive with top-tier ramen spots anywhere. Highly recommend, and I'll be back every chance I get.

E Ramen + in Midtown Atlanta. What can I say?…read more First off, beautiful space. But somehow, the bowl of ramen is even more beautiful. seriously, it looks like a work of art that I'm clearly afraid to mess up! I went with the Signature Ramen, and this thing absolutely hits the spot. Pork broth, pork belly, ground pork, green onions, soft-boiled egg, seasonal vegetables, and chili oil. On paper, it sounds like a lot going on. In the bowl, everything just works. Every element was executed perfectly. The chew of the noodles, the crunch of the bamboo, the gooey soft-boiled egg, the tenderness of the pork belly--it's all there. And pairing the chashu with the ground pork? Next level. You get two completely different textures and flavors from the pork, and somehow they complement each other perfectly. The broth has that richness you want from a good bowl of ramen without needing to rely on a bunch of extras to make it interesting. The chili oil adds just enough to bring everything together. Honestly, I have nothing more to add here. It's just good. Really good. Sometimes you don't need a long explanation. You just need a bowl of ramen that makes you put the spoon down afterward and say, "Yeah... that was exactly what I needed."

The chashu wrap was pretty good but really expensive for just 2 small wraps. I've had their rice bowls in the past and think the chashu rice bowl would've been much better than the miso hot. I got a tofu rice bowl, which I typically don't get and it was delicious! I asked if the salad could be put on the side rather than in the bowl and was given a full side salad that I wound up mixing into my rice lol. I also added broccoli to the bowl, which I probably wouldn't do again because it was pretty bland, but overall the bowl was good. Now the vegan dumplings... were FANTASTIC! We shared the dumplings and everyone agreed that they were easily the best thing that we had eaten the whole day. The green color threw me off at first, but the crispiness and texture of the dumpling was amazing. I would love to go back and try the ramen to see how it measures up, but again, great experience.
