Call center for Straight Talk in a foreign country. No help, no order number, no invoice, nothing. Went to Security Bank and was told no problem but I needed to wait 30 days to report. I purchased same thing at Walmart since it was Xmas gift. After 30 days I went in to bank and filled out affidavit. A week later Security Bank sent letter saying I was denied and was just out the money. What about the month of service for the phone that was never received nor activated ? Sorry, you are just out. What kind of bank does that to a 70 year old long time customer? You have zero protection if you use Security Bank debit card. My new bank said that should never have happened.

This location in Shawnee is one that we use at my current place of worship (Journey Community Church). I have to say, despite the ostentatious-sounding name, Country Club Bank has left me with the feeling of that old, family-friendly, neighborhood bank time and again. They are very nice people, easy to work with, and even remember my face for the infrequent times that I happen to walk in and actually need something. Not a lot of red-tape or trying to act like they are some big-player in the banking world. If I lived a little closer, I would make this my personal bank, as well, and invite anyone who does live close to check them out. They sure beat the service I have received at Commerce Bank or UMB.

I work with small businesses to help them start, grow, or even close, and part of that is making sure their financial tools actually work for them. One thing I can say with certainty is that Wells Fargo is not a credit card I'll be recommending after this. Again, your phone rep was very nice, but the QuickBooks team apparently isn't allowed to speak to anyone who doesn't already have an account. Anytime I use the equity line it is short term. Just a few months. They want me to requalify. The home is worth twice what the equity line limit is so there is no risk to the bank. I keep over $20k in a the bank making less than $10 a year for a no fees account. I just saw that I was charged $90 for my credit card. I have already started moving my money to Fidelity where I make 3.75% on my money. After 55 years at Bank of America I say, "YOUR FIRED".

Such a bright, inviting, and welcoming space. Clean and spacious seating with each table topped with a game (connect four, tic tac toe, etc). The barista was friendly, took my order and quickly served it up. My usual, go-to everywhere (iced oatmilk latte), was tasty and as ordered. I didn't grab anything to snack on, but they had a range of baked and assorted eats. Pleasant surprise and experience!

My matcha did not take long to make but when I got it, it was top 2 worst matchas I've ever had. My other friend who got a Matcha did not enjoy it either so I knew it wasn't just me. The sweetness wasn't there, a lot was missing. I didn't complain since it was free but it was def a know better for next time type of thing. We stayed after we got our drinks to explore and the host came out to talk to us about the rooms you can make a reservation for which is a plus! We definitely were impressed by the space but the cafe just needs a little more love.
