Dear Kuma,
Thank you for selling cheap sunglasses. Not just your sunglasses, but all your jewellery is cheap! All of the bits and pieces he sells here are from India, Korea and China. On a day like today when everything is going well, except for the hot weather that's making me easily tired, you set the bar high by letting me try on almost a dozen different sunglasses, helping me figure out which pair of $25 or less sunglasses would best bring out my tan, and you decided the gold over the silvers or the blacks. AND you charged me lower than the ticket price.
Not only that, you gave me some very irrelevant medical information that had nothing to do with selling me sunglasses. But that's okay, because we were talking about the differences between being young and old (Kuma even admitted to me that he's feeling older).
I dedicate these three paragraphs of medical information to you - although the way you said was also good...readers, please store the following information in your memory!
Osteoporosis in Old Age:
There are many things that can increase your chances of getting osteoporosis, which is the most common bone disease. These things are called "risk factors":
-Diet. Getting too little calcium can increase your chances of getting osteoporosis. Not getting enough vitamin D can also increase your risk for the disease. Vitamin D is important because it helps the body use the calcium in your diet.
-Physical activity. Not exercising and not being active for long periods of time can increase your chances of getting osteoporosis.
-Body weight. Being too thin makes you more likely to get osteoporosis.
-Smoking. Smoking cigarettes can keep your body from using the calcium in your diet. Also, women who smoke go through menopause earlier than those who don't smoke. These things can increase your risk for osteoporosis.
-Alcohol. People who drink a lot are more likely to get osteoporosis.
Thank you for educating me Kuma. And I love the fact that you've successfully ran your business for over 25 years in a tough market like Adelaide's. SOLD! Kuma, you are so considerate of the majority of the population, because you offer the lowest prices for your goods. You're one of a kind, rare, and not money-hungry, which I really like. Thank you. read more
