I visited the KUGLER vision center because I had cataracts in both of my eyes and it was time to get them removed. I chose KUGLER VISION because they were the highest recommended for having the best service the most friendly staff and the most experience. I was so pleasantly surprised when I went in for my consultation and my testing. The office was amazing and the front receptionist staff was incredibly friendly. Of course greeting me was some coffee, pop, water, and fresh baked cookies. When I went into the testing facility, all of the staff were so friendly and so knowledgeable. I proceeded to have all the testing done to get prepared for the surgery. This process was effortless and painless. afterwards, I was given a thorough explanation of what the procedure would involve and what the prices would be. after this consultation, I booked my surgery for a convenient time so I could get the procedure done right away. Because I felt very comfortable with everything that it happened so far. When I got home, I received a call from Dr. KUGLER the surgeon and he went over the results of my testing and of course, that I qualified for cataract removal surgery and went over the types of lenses he was going to use in the procedure and was very, good at explaining the different types of lenses and what I could expect. Today was surgery day, and I went in at this morning and they did some preparing of my eyes for the procedure. I first walked into a room that had a massage chair which was amazing and it really helped calm me down even though I really wasn't that nervous about the procedure because I felt so comfortable and safe with everything that they had prepared me for. The facility itself is a number one very nice clean, modern and again the staff was also friendly. The nurse proceeded to give me drops and explained what would be happening throughout the rest of the procedure, so really nothing was too surprising as it happened because I already had enough previous knowledge of what what I could expect. In the surgical room, everyone was veryattentive, very focused on me and what was going to happen . The first procedure really lasted only about 1 1/2 to 2 hours from the time I checked in until the time I left and I had both eyes done. I have drops that I'll be putting in for the next week or so, and other than some blurriness and some burning shortly afterwards that didn't last very long. Motrin took care of that and it's been relatively smooth going. I would definitely recommend Dr. KUGLER and his staff for any of your eye needs. I feel very comfortable knowing that they have performed this procedure on me and I feel that their care will be exceptional as it has been so far. read more

Absolutely amazing experience! I've been contemplating Lasik surgery for several years and finally decided to take the next step and get a consultation. I had consultations at other providers, but ultimately went with Kugler. From the first phone call, through the consultation and then my procedure Kugler vision was amazing! There are several steps to their process prior to deciding on whether or not to move forward with the process, which I found to be very helpful and really put my mind at ease with the whole process and also with deciding to go with Kugler. The front office staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. The consultants and techs are just as wonderful, walking you through the process and performing the exam. Meeting with the Optometrist to go over your results was very informative and really helped me to understand my options and projected outcome of my procedure. After my initial consultation, I had a virtual meeting with one of the surgeons, which both my wife and I attended. The surgeon was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and further helped us to understand the process and my options. He answered all of our questions and really helped us to decide to move forward and get the procedure done. After meeting with the surgeon, your care concierge goes over the process and the financial aspect. Again, all our questions were answered. After setting my appointment for surgery, I had follow up questions and my care concierge quickly provided answers. The day of my surgery, the staff was just as wonderful. Some additional tests were performed to confirm the numbers for my correction and I met with another optometrist. Dr. Kugler performed my procedure and was amazing. He really put my mind at ease, walked me through each step as it was happening and helped me feel comfortable the whole time. The whole staff made me feel welcomed and showed their excitement for my upcoming ability to see without glasses. I am SO happy I decided to go to Kugler Vision for my Lasik surgery and would definitely recommend them to anyone who asks. I've already recommended my wife, mom and several others to go in for a consultation and am excited for them. As everyone says, I really wish I would have had this done sooner. To everyone that is looking to get LASIK (or has any other questions about the different eye operations) GO TO KUGLER VISION! In my LASIK journey I definitely did my due diligence and visited three separate facilities: Omaha Eye & Laser, LASIK Plus, and my last stop was Kugler Vision. Luckily I ended up saving the best for last! One of the very first things that stuck out to me upon visiting Kugler Vision was their VERY modern and high end theme. This put me at ease right away! Not only is this place very appealing to the eye as you walk in, it made me think that if they spent extra money just on the looks of their practice, that they more than likely spent more money on all the different machines that they use to check and work on our eyes. Everyone of the staff members from the receptionists, to the nurses, and to the doctors are all very kind, always have smiles on there faces, and are knowledgeable of what is going on. Not once was I scared of any particular risks there are when it comes to vision correction. When I sat down for testing to see if I was a good LASIK candidate, I sat at 6+ more machines than the other two places I had previously checked out! This in it self was very reassuring to me that Kugler Vision would be where I would get LASIK done. The doctors even showed me all the information they got from all the various machines and explained what I was seeing on the monitor! Last but definitely not least, from the very get-go Dr. Kugler let me know that if there were any unnecessary risks when it came to my vision correction, they would not perform any surgery. This is definitely not a practice where they want to run you through like cattle and take your money as they please! I 100% recommend Kugler Vision to anybody and everybody! I have had stellar eyesight the majority of my life. Well, until I turned 45. At 45, I started noticing my arms were not long enough to read menus or my phone - especially in low light. I finally had to admit that I couldn't function without readers - so I bought several multipacks. Problem solved - as long as I could find a pair of those ^%&*$ readers. Fast forward 5 years, and my vision has continued to decline. Now at 50, I was noticing real difficulty with nighttime driving - and I couldn't read even basic text without my readers. Kugler Vision to the rescue!! Yesterday, I had RLE (refractive lens exchange) in my left eye. This morning, I am able to read my phone without readers for the first time in many years. The entire process was so easy. I was greeted warmly at the front desk. A few moments later, Emma took me back for a couple tests to make sure all the measurements were double checked before my procedure. She was professional and efficient. Emma handed me off to Jolene - who made sure I was seated comfortably in a massage chair (I need one of those!) Jolene explained the entire procedure and made sure to answer all of my questions. I was nervous - and she (and Valium) did a great job of settling those nerves. With a surgical cap and booties in place - I entered the surgical suite where I was prepped for the procedure. Prep to finish could not have taken more than 15 minutes. Dr. Kugler handled my procedure - which was painless (and offered a pretty wild light show). I was back in the massage chair before I knew it. And, resting comfortably at home not long after that. I am so excited to start this reader-free part of my life. Going to Kugler Vision and putting my trust in Dr. Kugler to do my LASIK procedure is by far one of the best choices I've ever made. I went from not being able to see my hand clearly at STM's length without strong lenses to seeing now BETTER than 20/20 (20/15 baby!) without any glasses or contacts. Everyone always says how freeing it is to get LASIK, and now I totally get it. I am loving waking up and being able to see right away without fumbling around for glasses or poking myself in the eye for contacts. Also, I have a young child, and I love being able to effectively parent without constantly having glasses smudged up or yanked off my face. I am rocking vision I've always dreamed of and I can't wait for this summer. Looking very forward to swimming without worrying about eye infections from lake water in my contacts. I hardly know where to start. You walk in the office and an attractive, bright faced woman welcomes you. Kori is friendly, but professional. She gives you the first impression of what Kugler Vision is like. When she isn't there, she is missed. This surgery was for my husband, not myself. He is 90 years old and was VERY apprehensive. He interviewed other vision facilities, and walked away not speaking. He met Dr. Kugler and said I will get my cataract surgery done here. He immediately trusted Dr. Kugler. That is saying so much about a Dr. The office is tastefully decorated. They offer cold drinks, hot drinks, and at least 2 types of cookies. The cookies are made there. What more do you need? They also have skin care products that can help those of us finding ourselves aging. They don't push them, they don't even mention them, but I tried something to clear the red lines out of my eyes. It worked! The facility is awesome, the doctors there are awesome, and the techs that work there speak clearly and distinctly. They are the best! I had astigmatism, and wore glasses/contacts for decades. I was annoyed with the upkeep and inconvenience of wearing both. It sucked, but I wasn't totally aware of how much it sucked until I got LASIK. I had a -1.5 in one eye, and -1.75 and the other eye. Although that might not be bad for some, I couldn't see jack at night while driving, and was not able to read the chalkboards/dry erase boards or screens when I was in school growing up and while in college. It was hell without optical aid, and even with aid I found myself squinting or adjusting to see clearly. Now I see 20/10 in both eyes after visiting Kugler... That's above perfect vision! I can literally see 10 ft farther than the average person who has 20/20 vision. I feel like I'm a superhero sometimes lol. No complaints, the recovery is short lived, and I wouldn't change a thing. No regrets. Note: They literally pamper you like you're in a spa, and offer all the bells and whistles to make sure that you are 100% comfortable. From the first call to the office where I was greeted by warmth and a joyful hello, through the pre-op testing and ultrasound given by true professional and caring techs and doctors, through the surgery itself, with high correction needs and difficultly with contacts and glasses plaguing me in recent years, Kugler Vision was very highly recommended by my optometrist and a family member in the eye surgeon world. Got my eyes taken care of by Kugler Vision and I am terribly grateful! Everything they said would happen happened, which helped the process. From the first visit of testing to the consultation- so much was answered. I had another place tell me it would take two separate surgery days since my eyes are 'nix' were opposites(very nearsighted in one, very farsighted in the other). Dr Kugler completed it in one visit... and thank goodness! The day of was pleasant- everyone was kind, it was quick. Surgery is surgery though, ya know? There were a few hours of extreme discomfort, which they advised would happen, recommending sleeping through that portion of the healing. By that evening, I could comfortably open my eyes without them watering... enjoyed a lovely dinner. The doctors office called that evening, which was kind. And by the next morning all seems good. I've always wanted LASIK, but I never have had the money or the opportunity to. Kugler Vision was the answer to that prayer. They gave me that opportunity and it was one of the best experiences I've had with any business in Omaha. The employees were very kind and did everything they could to give me a great experience. I went into it with a slight fear of having someone I really didn't know operate on my eyes, but boy is Dr. Kugler really good. The entire process of getting LASIK was made easy and painless by Kugler Vision. They never showed any doubt and did everything to make me comfortable before my procedure. Before actually getting LASIK, they gave me a massage chair to sit in to relax me. It was wonderful how much they cared to make the procedure as painless as possible and I can say from experience there was no pain involved! I had Lasik yesterday, From the initial consultation the staff was wonderful kind and not pushy. They definitely hit the customer service and patient care marks! Everything they told me is exactly what happened. I have followed all of the instructions. Some discomfort immediately afterwards definitely go home and take a long nap to avoid it. I slept on and off for the rest of the day. This morning I woke up and I could see crisp and clear better than with glasses and I wear readers as well typically. I opened the refrigerator and read the back of a cream cheese box perfectly, even the fine print. I have no pain and a little gooey feeling still, but I am excited to see what it's like when they are completely healed. Went to KUGLER vision for eye exam and found I needed cataract surgery at 69 years old. As a post RK patient with 8 cuts from 20 years ago I was nervous. I was very impressed with the office and staff. So knowledgeable and friendly. Dr McGiver and Dr Stuntz (my surgeon) answered all my questions and I was ready for surgery. Dr Stuntz did an outstanding surgery. His skills are amazing. My right eye with mono lens has given me 20/20 distance and 20/25 near vision. Dr McGiver is very knowledgeable and answered all my questions (and I ask a lot of questions!). I'm ready for my left eye to be done next week. Surgery was painless and quick. Staff at Miracle Hills clinic is outstanding. I would also recommend using their ORA procedure for the correct lens. Extra $ but worth it. read more

I could not be happier with Dr. Kugler and Kugler Vision! Dr. Kugler did my cataract surgery (multifocal lenses) in 2013 but only after very careful testing prior to the surgery. I was very impressed when Kugler Vision called me back at no extra cost to double check a few measurements before surgery. I have been extremely happy with the results. I've worn high prescription contacts for the past 30 years....but not today! One day post op with my ICL's and I'm seeing great and feeling great. Kugler Vision does it all and I wish I'd done years ago. Right from the beginning, they take every effort to make you feel comfortable. The amount of testing, measuring, etc is astounding as they develop the best plan for your vision. No questions went unanswered, and no details were missed along the way. I got an ICL done which is an implantable collamer lens. Its a lens that they put behind the surface of your eyes. And can be took out at any given time if needed. My eyes were different shaped than average and scratched. I couldnt wear contacts for longer than like 5 hours otherwise my eyes always felt dry and itchy! Which meant that I wasn't qualified for lasik. The ICL is an alternative to lasik. Now I couldn't be any happier with the vision that I got. Can now see better than 20/20 without contacts or glasses! And now I don't have that feeling of itching them as I did with contacts! All the people at Kugler are there for you during the process to make you feel comfortable during the whole thing. Wouldn't recommend going anywhere else! read more
