The ignition switch was not working. The technician pulled the unit away from the wall and pushed it back in again and that fixed the problem with the ignition. I assume the movement must had wiggled something that had caused the problem. He also cleaned some build up on the inside but that was not what was causing the problem. In fact, he never did figure out what had been causing the switch not to work. He asked if I wanted him to figure it out and I said "No" since it was now working. For this half an hour of work they charged me a $300 "diagnostic" fee., despite the fact that they did not diagnose the problem with the switch. That equals a $600/hr. rate. The explained that they don't charge an hourly rate because if the tech was training a new employee, it would cost the client more for the extra time. .

He worked with his crew to ensure a challenging concrete project was done right. This included a new retaining wall connecting to an existing wall along with replacing a high pitched driveway. Dean had some great ideas on how to address our water issues; he personally made and installed a drainage gutter to move the water away from our garage, driveway, and yard. It was a demanding project and the results are amazing. Monte, Alex, and Dylan - each were deeply invested in making a quality finished product.
