One year ago this business oversold me filler and would not refund the extra two syringes and said that I would be able to use them in the future. I went back there upon appointment and they told me I didn't need the filler and they suggested another brand that they did not have ready. I told them that I was moving out of the area and would not be back ( which is true ) and asked them to please refund me about $600 worth of unused filler and they still denied the refund. I asked a question via their website and got a response from Person A whom I was under the impression I would be doing my consultation with, since she said she looked forward to seeing me... I arrived at 11:45 for my 12:00 appt time. When I arrived I was told Person B will be with me "shortly." No sign of Person A anywhere who I had all my email communications with. After waiting for 30 min (at this point now it's 12:15), I asked the girl at the front desk how much longer I would have to wait; she said 10 minutes, probably longer since she was still with the client before me. I asked if Person B I'm meeting with is a qualified professional who can answer all my questions. I was told no, Person B is the coordinator (or something), but they can reschedule me for another day with Person C who is the one that is actually performing the procedure. This made me uncomfortable and I walked out. Moreover, Kucumber Skin Lounge did not apologize or send a follow-up email, nothing. Left a bad taste in my mouth, pretty disappointed. read more

One star is too good, I had cool sculpting on my upper arms, 3 sessions, no difference, facial hair removal with waxing and depilor tx's, 20 treatments and it all grew back but the best part was the C02 laser to my face and neck, after 8 weeks, my skin has a weird texture, almost a grid, no difference in wrinkles, thousands of dollars I might as well have flushed down the toilet, thanks to a narcissistic con artist who laughs at you behind your back while she is so damn fake as she sells you all this bullshit. I honestly cannot figure why the reviews are so bad; the lounge and staff are great. I went in and knew exactly what I wanted and found the staff to be very accommodating and knowledgeable (without using any aggressive sales tactics). It's a medispa so you can expect to spend some money, but the procedures are not overpriced. Rachel knew exactly what she doing and took her time to give me flawless results. I was so disappointed with my service there and do not plan on going back or referring my friends. I purchased 6 sessions of laser hair removal and did not get ANY results. I saw 3 different techs and at each visit voiced my concern that the last appointment was not producing any results. They always had some "explanation" /reason assuring me it will work. They even told me their last laser machine apparently was broken and replaced. At the end of the 6 treatments, they tried to sell me more! So this place had a lot of potential. I went in to get my brows done and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I filled out some paperwork and waited to be seen. The gal who did my brows was nice and pleasant but I was not thrilled with the quality of work. She did the very minimum for my brows. I spent more time filling out paperwork and waiting than I did getting my brows done. They look OK but it cost me $25 NOT including tip. I have had a better experience at Benefit in the mall. I love getting my skin cared for at Kucumber! Great prices for high level services. Makenzie is a wonderful esthetician. She has a professional, calm demeanor, which is always nice if your having a treatment that you're nervous about. I also bring my teenage son in for Spectra Laser treatments for his acne. Positive: Friendly staff. Negative: Had Botox in January. Dropped one side of my face. Called, was told to wait a couple days. Called again after no change, went in expecting to see someone to fix it, but only saw front desk staff. Was told face wouldn't fix itself and I'd need to be injected again. However, no appointments in near future available due to lack of injectors. By the time there was an appointment, it would've been weeks out, and pointless to go. Waited until May when Botox was "due," saw different injector who tried to fix the still visible damage. Didn't work at all. Have basically spent $400 to make my face crooked. I'm sad I ever got this to begin with. I would not recommend going here, and will not be back. read more

Very expensive procedures and often hard sales tactics. I got a package deal, which was horrendously overpriced but I wanted quality work. Instead I am treated as if I am an inconvenience every appointment, randomly get canceled on with very little notice and charged nearly $100 if I am caught in traffic and late for my appointment (even if I call). I have also had appointments scheduled that miraculously disappear, even though I have confirmation texts and emails. Also, get everything in writing and get a second copy. They will lie and say it isn't covered or it wasn't the original agreement. Honestly, just go somewhere else. read more

I paid 1000 for 10 sessions of a tattoo removal. My tattoo is half inch long on my face. They reassured me it wouldn't take all 10 sessions since it was so small and that I could use the rest of my left over sessions on a different procedure like a facial etc. Well... 1 yr later and went to all 10 sessions my small tattoo is only partly faded. I'm now walking around with a half faded tattoo on my face! Very disappointed with the work they do. I would never recommend kucumber skin read more

I bought a package deal that included photofacial & some chemical peels. Everytime I have gone in I have been treated with respect and I love the results of my treatments. Feels like I have just been pampered at a spa afterwords. They are always able to answer any questions I have about after care. I am bad about making my appointments (even though I bought a package that is all paid for already) and they call to remind me to come in! I highly recommend using Kucumber Skin Lounge! read more

Do not go here for laser treatments! They will rip you off. I had a set of treatments and there was inconsistency between the various technicians that I saw throughout the process. So 2 years ago I signed up for a package of the Viora, I was so excited. After the first treatment I was so bruised that when I came the next time, they had to postpone. Same thing happened after the next treatment. Then they actually cancelled on me twice, and they sent me home a couple of times because I was to bruised to continue. I asked for a refund on services not used and they refused. Plus I still owed on my package and they want me to pay for that before I return. It didn't make much sense. I could not have the treatment done but yet they didn't care, all they cared about was the money. I will probably go back because I have a credit I do not want to lose. But if I had a choice I would not return. The staff was very understanding and helpful and wanted to return my money, they understood. Management on the other hand was completely heartless and didn't care that the treatment I signed up for could not be used. I could understand if they wanted me to use the unused portion I already paid for on another service, but to make me pay for the whole treatment on something I cannot use. Not Happy!! read more

After my bad reaction to a complimentary facial, I decided it was not for me and told them I would not be progressing forward with any services. I asked them to refund my monies. NO it is NOT their POLICY to refund any monies. So how could this happen? Well read on ---- Initially , I went in for a consultation, and decided I would like a series of photo facial treatments, It was suggested we get started right away, and so after paying $3000.00 up front, I came back after lunch for a complementary , one quick photo session, They had suggested a chemical peel, but I had a rather important function the next day, I choose the photo facial session, as there is supposed to be no down time. I had swelling, and discoloration,immediately and they assured me it would disappear. I went back the next day to show them my face. It was swollen, and had red marks, worse then the day before. They took some more photos, I went home, and after much thought, and time to allow the swelling to go down. I decided that it was not something that I wanted to do. I told them I could not proceed with the photo facials of which I had already paid, although not scheduled. as well as 6 peels. I talked with the owner Nadia, as well, and the answer was NO. I wrote emails. and they still responded NO NOT our POLICY. To date, I have yet to receive a refund, nor have I received any type of correspondence, They refuse to give me a refund, and stated that it is THEIR POLICY to NOT refund for any services purchased. TE I did not at any time sign a contract.
