There are folks out there that have unrealistic expectations of the clientele pool for planet fitness. Not everyone is rocking a six-pack beachbody and everyone else is there to focus on themselves. I advise others to do the same with a level of dignity and humility. Pizza nights are fine. If you don't want it, you don't have to. I choose not to and I'm happy with it. If you opt in to get the black membership, definitely try out their hydro massage chairs. It's incredibly customizable and super therapeutic. You can adjust the working range that the machine targets as well as the speed and magnitude of pressure. They also have traditional massage chairs and tanning beds. Enjoy your stay. I've emailed 3x called countless times and left voicemails plus my number with the front desk staff still nothing. I call early in the morning or midday they tell me to call after 5pm. This is very sad especially since I'm a member and pay my fees. You could at least have the decency to email back if you're so busy to call!
