Went today to sell some gold jewelry (one piece in particular, a Bulgari necklace, was of…read moreparticular value to me), and various electronics. Kyle & Jon were incredibly polite and helpful; I felt that I was being treated with complete fairness and transparency. They were open about their process for evaluation, and even discussed possible pricing for some additional future sales I am considering. I could not recommend this establishment, and its proprietors, more strongly. Just excellent. One more thing: I found that this is a generationally family-owned business, of which there are exceedingly fewer and fewer these days. Supporting them, as opposed to their franchised competitors (one of which is mere feet away in the same shopping mall), is important. If you decide to try out a pawn shop, the combination of all of the above should make your choice clear! Justin B.

The gentleman that was manning the shop that day offered exactly what I had in mind (like, how did he know? Lol) in fact, I was in and out within a few minutes. I was impressed with all the interesting artifacts around the shop, was very interesting. Made me wish I had been there to buy instead of sell. I'll visit again, and hopefully I'll go home with something shiny. I had a preconceived idea of something less... well, it wasn't the pawn shop vibe, which I especially appreciated.

I drove all the way up here from Littleton, passing several pawn shops on the way just because of 1 review on Yelp. Was it worth the drive, definitely. "Excuse me, Waiter? There's a Jax in my K-mart." -Ruth Bader…read moreGinsburg- I think that quote from such an illustrious person sums this place up nicely. I went to explore the new Jax recently, to see if her quote held true. My first impression was that they really did a nice job with the conversion. The only trace of the building's past is the old floor tiles, but that is nitpicking. Everything else is fresh and new, if you didn't look down you would never know. I didn't see a firearms counter, so it is either well hidden or they haven't got one. The cafe area is not open yet, but looks really nice. And I have never seen such a variety of candy in my life (apart from that one time that reclusive candy maker hid a ticket inside my candy bar and I got to tour his factory, watch some weird musical numbers, and eventually took over the factory from him). I want to especially call out Ilyssa, who was the Department Manager for the Work and Western Wear area. The very moment I stepped into her domain, she was there to offer assistance. She immediately pointed out their special Labor Day sales, and darn it if I didn't leave her section feeling like I wanted some Work and/or Western Wear. All around a super fun place, so get there already! A supreme court justice can't be wrong! OK I made that quote up myself. But seriously, go to the new Jax.
