Called last minute requesting a same day appointment and they were happy to accommodate me. The lady who answered was friendly, to the point, and very helpful. I had neglected getting a haircut for far too long but that did not affect the quality of service whatsoever. I showed Kathy one photo of my hair from almost a year ago and she did exactly that. She was extremely detailed, efficient, and a great conversationalist. She also checked several angles with me at various points throughout to ensure I was satisfied with how she was cutting my hair. The haircut and atmosphere would have brought me back, but when they told me my longggggg overdue haircut was only $30? I don't think I can go anywhere else as long as I'm living in Orange County! I had an award show this weekend and needed a cut before my schedule got too busy so I contacted the shop which was 5 minutes from my apartment and got lucky to meet Kathy as she had an appointment cancel on her. She was so warm and welcoming! She really cares about what you have to say and I when I showed her of a taper with a mullet style, she nailed it. She is always thinking about money--about how to get more out of people--and she never stands by her word. I had several appointments with her, sometimes even arriving early, but she would still tell me I was late and that my appointment time had already passed, just because she wanted to take someone else who would pay her more. She didn't care about my situation at all. One time when she did my hair, at the end she suddenly told me I had to pay a higher amount, even though the price had already been agreed upon. In short, she is always focused on how to get more money or how to make things work to her advantage.
