I own dozens of perfumes ranging from Prada to Dior, so while I'm not a perfumer, I do know fragrance profiles well and was excited for what was marketed as a luxe, elevated experience. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations. When we arrived, staff appeared confused by our reservation and did not seem to anticipate our appointment until we showed proof of our prepaid booking. Once seated, we were paired with an associate to help us create our scent profile. I completed the questionnaire indicating I preferred fruity and floral fragrances, yet most of the initial scents presented to me did not align with those preferences at all. When I expressed that the selections were not working for me and asked whether there was a fragrance list or menu I could review, I was told there was "no list." I was then handed a few additional scents and told to "just mix the two that you like." That response felt dismissive and lacked the guidance and personalization one would expect from a curated fragrance experience, especially one marketed as "Luxe." My daughter ultimately had to step in to advocate for us because the interaction became uncomfortable and rushed. The session itself was surprisingly brief, and there was no meaningful distinction between the Luxe Bloom Experience we paid for and the Signature Bloom experience other guests appeared to be receiving at the same time. We were not offered access to any "exclusive luxe fragrances," enhanced customization, elevated service, or any premium touches that justified the higher price point. What disappointed me most is that this gift was intended to be a special bonding experience during a difficult heqlth related period in my life, and instead it felt transactional, underwhelming, and poorly executed. I truly wanted to love this experience because the concept is wonderful. With better organization, more knowledgeable fragrance guidance, clearer differentiation between packages, and a more welcoming customer experience, this could be something really special. But based on my experience, the Luxe package did not deliver what was advertised, hence "Poo-Poo to Pooka". Fortunately, my daughter and I salvaged the rest of the evening by creating our own "Luxe" experience by having a wonderful dinner and seeing a movie.

I needed a doctor who specializes in the treatment of African skin, which easily scars and hyperpigments. A few customers in my hair braider's shop recommended her. Dr. Downie successfully treated my melasma because I have not since had a recurrence. Dr. Downie is both my medical and cosmetic dermatologist. I drive over and hour and a half from Eastern Long Island to see her. She has performed on me many cosmetic procedures, which beautify my skin. I use the skin and hair products she recommends. My scars have reduced significantly, and my hair is now growing like wildfire. I have never received more compliments from strangers about my image. All staff are friendly and professional.
