Just ordered lunch the food was cold, the person that was working the drive thru didn't put the drink I ordered on the ticket. When I got to the window and verified the order I politely asked if the gentleman put the drink on the order he said " you didn't order any drinks. I politely asked for him to add a medium diet coke to the order. He said "alright", then asked me to pull up and he would bring out the order. Krystal has been a favorite of mine since the days of my youth. My first encounter was at Crawford park on Ann Street. A dog came up while we're playing football with a Krystal box in his mouth. I had no idea what a Krystal was. Believe it was around 1964. We had rode our bikes from Baltimore park to toss the pigskin with some schoolmates from the Crawford park area. A buddy not only explained what a Krystal was but also pointed me to one on Gov't and Ann streets. He said it was white and had a silver ball on the building??? I believe I had 25¢ my allowance for the week and just enough money for a Krystal and somethg to wash it down. Well I've been in love with them ever since. When I go to mobile w/o wifey I will get ten Krystal's enough to last me from Saraland to Jackson. Boy what memories it brings back. Ordered a 5 pack with cheese and chilli cheese fries. Also ordered their country fried Krystal and country loaded tots. Didn't receive the second part of the order at all. The chilli cheese fries were okay but this place is seriously lacking in the employee department. I'd hate for someone to lose a job. If I could give them a ten today I would! We went in around 2pm on a Friday. The lady working her butt off at the drive through/register knows what she is doing! I was all over the place at the menu and then I needed to change my order when I got to the window. She was changing my confusing order all while she was helping the next guest! She was SO sweet! I didn't have to wait long and my food came out HOT AND FRESH!! I love Krystal's and sometimes it's hit or miss at most locations but when you get those hot and fresh Krystal burgers?!? ON POINT! My kids thoroughly enjoyed their food as did I! We were SO FULL!! My ONLY complaint is how expensive it is these days. Also...chicks need to be on the 5 for $7!! So.....keep in mind, can't make this shit up. Derek, Bina, and I got off work and went to Krystals. After waiting 30 minutes for our food and our fries still frozen, we pulled up after being told "We got yo chicken in the grease now", Derek is starting to have a serious PTSD moment. So we pull up and their sign up front says "O 2 KRYSTALS 10 WINGS $1099 bucks. I am not sure what an oxygen Krystal is but 2 grand sounds like a real bargain. Better go take them up on it. Last time we went, my husband had to tell the manager that the employees were standing in the drive through line smoking weed, and she shrugged it off, after getting our order completely wrong. Wow... I was stunned by what was in my bag. I ordered a simple meal - four krystals with cheese and fries. Three of the burgers were thrown together half of the cheese was hanging off of the bun (Had to done on purpose), the meat was rare / pink, the pickles were "under" the burger on the bottom of the box, and the bottom bun was so wet it turned to mush and resembled something with the consistency of mashed potatoes... it's not only the worst Krystal I've ever been too this place has to rank as one of the worst eating experiences of my life. I went back to this Krystals on a weekend day Idk why but the same girl that over charged me the first time on a Saturday over charged me again today. I had $4 on my card I ordered something that cost $3 and some change but by her over charging me my card declined. When I told her what she done then she made the price right she tried to hand me my card back telling me "It's still going to decline" I said it will work now then she slammed the drive thru window very hard and rude. Krystal in Saraland sucks!!! I ordered 12 pack of Krystal with cheese with 2 without onions. Well I got a 12 pack of Krystal with cheese and all no onion!! Last visit, ordered 12 pack of Krystal with cheese and 4 no onion. We got 12 pack no onions and only 4 with cheese. Qualifications to work there is to not give a crap!! Doubt I will return to the one in Saraland. Next time we will go out of our way to get Krystal if we want any!! Not to mention the place is very nasty inside.
