We communicated that with them and had rescheduled for August, which was additionally shut down due to government restrictions. We then planned to re-book for May 2021, which after going back-and-forth multiple times with dates ended up getting switched to a different DJ group within the organization, which was fine. We were then told by our venue, Riverview Gardens, that they were no longer hosting weddings, but because we had a contract, they would host ours. We met with them in person and ultimately decided that they were doing it more out of obligation, and we didn't feel comfortable spending a large amount of money to host a wedding with a venue that wasn't excited about us hosting our wedding there. We had gotten married in August 2020 in a small ceremony that followed Covid restrictions and had planned on doing our big wedding as planned in May 2021. At this point, it was such a drawn out process and I wasn't excited about planning a wedding for the fourth time and starting the venue search again. I received a full deposit refund from Riverview Gardens and reached out to Yo DJ about getting a refund on our deposit of $875 via email. I had reached out multiple times and never received a response to the DJ's assigned to our event as well as the general email. This has been going on for multiple years and to be honest I probably should've been more on top of it, but it's just a constant reminder that I didn't get my dream wedding and still have my original wedding dress hanging in my closet unworn as well as all of our decor in my basement that was unused, so it wasn't necessarily at the top of my mind. After an email stating I would pursue legal action, I finally got a response from Cory who informed me that they were not willing to work with me on issuing that refund but instead they would work with me if I wanted to have them host a different event. Which makes no sense because we're not having a big wedding so I'm not sure what I would even use them for. Overall, very disappointed with the entire interaction and now I am out $875. I have two follow up emails out to Cory from his response, both of which have gone without a response.

Corey did such a good job emceeing the show. The music was very enjoyable. It was a fantastic night!!!!

The husband and I have rented from this location several times, most notably for Thanksgiving 2014…read more(delivery of tent, heater, table, chairs, etc.) and most recently for a graduation party (just some extra chairs that we picked up). The website does a decent job of showing the available options, but it is annoying that you have to call to place an order. Can't I just fill it out online and be done? They are also a little weird about explaining deposit and cancellation policies -- they typically don't even bother unless I ask, which seems like something they should really be more clear about. One thing that you need to be super careful about is specifying if your party is indoors. For Thanksgiving, we rented the nicer wood chairs, but ended up sticking our own felt sliders on the bottom of every leg so that our hardwood floors were not damaged. For the graduation party, we got the cheaper plastic chairs, and despite my specifying repeatedly that we needed chairs with rubber feet, when the guy was loading them into our truck, the husband had to double check and request replacements of several with feet missing. I get that they do a lot of outdoor parties; however, it's frustrating to have to be SO careful. Also, when they picked up everything after Thanksgiving, after loading the outdoor items, they actually drove off without coming inside for the tables and chairs! They came back pretty quickly, but again, the lack of care and checking is a bit concerning. I get rentals because I want it handled, not to babysit them! However, their prices are pretty reasonable, as are their return policies. It was just $11 and change for ten basic chairs for the weekend, with no issue about picking up Friday and returning Monday (they're closed Sundays). I don't have a particular problem with this location, except to advise that you check your items carefully and not just blindly trust that they have everything in your order and that it's all in good condition.

He sings (Piano Man is a must!) and dances like no other...and when I say sing, I mean his voice is truly phenomenal! Tim took the extra time to get to know us and our music preferences prior to our big day. He also made great suggestions about how to structure our reception timeline based on his previous experiences and the setup of our venue, which was very helpful. Our dance floor was full the entire night and our guests could not stop raving about him. My husband and I highly recommend Tim from Dorsey Entertainment for anyone in the greater Fox Valley Area looking for a fantastic entertainer!

Natalie was great at responding to my emails and answering my questions promptly, which was of the utmost importance to me. (It took days to hear back from other photographers we considered.) Ultimately, however, we decided on another photographer due to the price of their packages. I think they were very reasonable for what you get - two photographers for the day, a long engagement session, and a very well done album - but we had to cut the budget and decided on one photographer, which reduced the costs. A free concert in Tuesday's and food trucks. Plus on weekends you'll find all kinds of various festivals. They can pack the place with up to 7k people when big name bands come to town. Or a smaller one. Located on a scenic Fox River in downtown Oshkosh you will see the sunset and watch the boats pass through the channel. Draw bridges go up and down all day to accommodate the big ones. Fishing local people line along the edge of the canal. Many of Oshkosh events are held here. Or end here. The Oshkosh races like the Half marathon will end here. They usually serve food and drinks but if the event you ate d does not, there are many options within walking distance.
