I just got back from KenMar Studios. I wanted one picture of a t-shirt taken. Todd was the…read morephotographer. He was going to do a single picture by hanging it on a t-shirt. Unfortunately, I needed the picture taken without the hanger. What Todd did to set that up was amazing. He had to improvise to get the shirt on the correct screen with the correct lighting. He had to use 2 different screens but finally got it perfect. All the wrinkles had to be smoothed out. He didn't give up and it finally came out exactly the way I wanted it to. Todd went above and beyond to get this right. I can't recommend KenMar more to other people! Todd is a terrific photographer. His parents, Ken and Margaret (hence KenMar) started this studio in 1954. Todd has been with them for 22 years. If you want someone who really knows what he's doing, you found the right photographer.

HORRIBLE WAIT TIMES. The workers are so busy that they become negligent to the customers. I waited…read more25 minutes PAST my appointment before I even got in. After I paid for my pictures, the worker NEVER told me if I should wait for them or if I should come back and pick them up. I was just awkwardly standing by the counter in front of lots of people. I got a Groupon deal and the employees started changing the terms of my deal by saying that the digital image I would get would be low quality and have their logo over it. The deal terms said nothing about it being low quality or having their logo over it. It was so crowded with families and families. Just a horrible experience. Not going to return.

I was very nervous at first, which I was told is very common, but I left their studio feeling like I could do anything and that the world better get out of my way because I am a force to be reckoned with. Heidi and Gerry listened to my creative ideas and brought their own. Throughout the shoot they would show me sample shots. Every time I saw one of those photos I could not believe it was me! Shadows and angles and their coaching alongside sassy outfits really do wonders, ladies! They know how to direct your body to make it look amazing. I left with sweet and romantic shots, sultry and intense shots and shots that look like pure art! It was so much fun to give the photos to my fiancé, but I have to say that I think they turned out to be more of a gift to myself than to him. It is incredibly empowering to see yourself look so amazing. I was always curious about doing a shoot like this and now that I have done it I wish I would have done it sooner and really want to do it again.
