If you've ever wondered what it's like to eat a meal that has given up on its hopes and dreams, look no further. I spent $14--actual legal tender--on what I can only describe as "Steamed Sadness." * The Burger: I've seen thicker slices of ham in a budget lunchable. This wasn't a slider; it was a soggy sliver of meat-flavored gelatin. It didn't even require chewing; it just sort of... dissolved into my soul. * The Fries: These fries had the structural integrity of a cooked noodle left in a rainstorm. I'm convinced they weren't fried so much as they were lightly misted with lukewarm water and whispered at by a potato. * The Value: For $14, I expected a burger, not a biology experiment on how much moisture a bun can absorb before it becomes a liquid. Final Verdict: If you enjoy paying double digits for a box of damp sponges, this is the place for you. Otherwise, stay far, far away. Disgusting. read more

Don't waste your time literally horrible waited 30 min for 3 Krystal burgers lousy workers don't help either

Garbage garbage garbage. $12 for 3 cheese Krystal's fries and a drink. After first bite I had to look inside to see what the hell was wrong. The patty literally was disolved into the bun. I don't believe it was even a meat. More like a mushy spam. Should have known when the place was empty at 1230pm. I'd love to be able to post the pic I took of it. Someone on health side of government needs to go in and order a burger and then inspect it. No way I was eating this shit! I will never ever go back to a krystal. read more

Today was the first time we have gone to Krystal's in a while. The food was good, although medium eggs are done. And that's alright with us. Our three eggs came with grits, bacon or sausage, toast, or biscuits. & Tater tots. For us it was way too much food. The Diet Coke I ordered was really sweet. We always like the fountain drinks with more seltzer. Everyone was very friendly. The order was mixed up a little, we ordered two meals one with sausage the other with Bacon, and I have no doubt the would have brought my husband sausage. Please was clean. read more

The place is very clean compared to others I have eaten at and for any fast food place. Got to know Barbara, Lynn and the staff. They really show pride in their service to all. The double Krystal with no middle bun extra pickles add ketchup and the chilli cheese pups are delicious. read more

Five stars for being fast and fresh... the food gets no stars past the first bite. Felt like some kind of horrible White Castle knockoff. Don't go here! Don't you dare do it. The dining room was locked in the middle of the day for some unknown reason, if you eat here at your own risk do your best to dine in. Eating this product In your vehicle will leave a smell that can only be described as a wet dumpster on a hot summer day. read more

Came after Rockville and it was the best Krystal's I've ever had. Fresh, fast, hot, tasty. Workers were even nice and friendly

Worth the wait! As travelers from the northeast US, we took the opportunity to try out this regional chain on our drive back up and it did NOT disappoint! We ordered our food just before 11 am on Thanksgiving Day 2024 and it was hot, delicious, and made us Krystal fans for life! Everything was freshly made and service at the window was fast and courteous. We still can decide what we loved more, the spicy chicken or the cheese Krystals... definitely try them both! read more

So I came to this Krystal's because it was on my way home. I could hear the car in front of me placing their order and the person who was taking the order was laughing and singing and making the customer repeat their order over and over again. When I place my order it was the same thing. She was laughing and singing in the speaker instead of taking my order. I don't know if she was tired or what but the way she was acting was horrible. She even said I need to stop I'm at work. I have never in my life witness anything like it. I will just go to the store on the other side of town instead of coming to this one. read more

The food was tasty but I couldn't get over the beef patty was literally embedded in the bread. The meat was light... I've never seen meat look like this. I am from out of town and I went because of the good reviews. I can't believe I wasted $33 on this read more

Krystal - Fast Food Near Me - Daytona Beach, Florida

I mean.. it's Krystal's, meat so icky it turns the buns grey and always conveniently out of the item you want to order, but all of that aside on this particular visit.. this was nowhere near closing and nowhere near opening, mid operating hours and, as usual (for obvious reasons) not a single soul in the parking lot. I pull in and o the drive through and guess what? I know, it's a shock but none the less, they tell me it's going to be about 15-20 minutes of I want to order ANYTHING. Again, they are nowhere close to either opening or closing and they have decided to arbitrarily close for 30 minutes. Their food isn't that great to begin with and so o rarely visit but this will certainly be my last waste of a trip. Go if you want when they are "open" but fair warning, they may have decided to close for 30 minutes or so. If you love Krystal's so much that a 30 minute wait is worth it though, more power to ya. I won't be making his mistake again, ever. read more

Unbelievable! I have one car ahead of me and I've been waiting in line for 17 minutes. Still the car ahead of me has not received their food. And I haven't received my one bottle of water and my one lousy Krystal cheeseburger. Clearly, this is managements fault. This is absolutely insane! I've seen so many people behind me. Leave the line. Much smarter than me that's for sure! read more

Krystal - a view of a gas station from inside a car - Fast Food Near Me - Daytona Beach, Florida

So Krystal. You are a love hate relationship. Coming from NY we had White Castles. Its one of those things you want to eat a couple of times a year. Living in FL we do not have anything like that near us. The little mini steamed burger, making the bun moist in an odd delicious way with a dabble of onions (not sure if real or fake) and a pickle. Add cheese an no mustard. They taste so good, but I am thankful there is none by where we live because I am pretty sure your arteries are clogging a little bit with each burger you eat. The stars are for the food. The staff is that of any typical FF joint. Slow, monotonous and robotic. read more

I decided Id like to have Krystals for breakfast. A couple cars in front of me. Im waiting at the speaker. Im on my ten minute morning break in my company truck which is tracked by GPS. I only have ten minutes to stop then eat on the go. My company charges $150 per hour for my time. I waited ten minutes, asked the speaker a few times if anybody were there to take my order. .... Nothing. I do like any normal person would do and drive to the window. Old lady Karen opened the window and said what are you having. I told her a number 4 she immediately said" I just sold all the hamburgers to the car in front of ya and the car behind me and that id have to wait at least another 10 minutes. Point being she was being a bitch. I would not and will not return to this Krystal even if i was starving to death. read more

Saw this restaurant as I headed to Daytona beach and decided to visit as I left today. The one in FTL closed about 5 years ago and I remember them being about 75% as good as my favorite, White Castle. I don't trust my memory any more. I got a bag of 12 burgers the same way as I do at WC, ketchup, onions and extra pickles. On first bite I couldn't have been more disappointed. The burger had absolutely no taste. Nine. I was hungry so I ate 6 and threw the rest away, something I never do. I can't believe anyone would consider this good. Never again. read more

If you haven't discovered eggs made to order, homemade grits, bacon or sausage and toast or fresh biscuit at Krystal you've missed out on a treat. The Krystal Breakfast is a time-travel experience. Think back to Those art deco breakfast and lunch counters seen in the movies. Two or three eggs any style, made to order, sausage or bacon, toast or biscuit and wonderful slow cooked homemade grits. Nothing else like it. The International Speedway unit in Daytona Beach was ideal for this mornings breakfast. Fast, courteous service, by the manager herself was almost a throwback to legendary waitresses of yore. I hadn't been in a Krystal in 5 years and now I'm questioning why. The food was hot, very hot in fact, and made to perfection. read more

What can I say about this place! This is the most delicious disgusting food the human has ever consumed. Forget Ex-Lax because this thing works like a bar of Ex-Lax. I recommend you not need to sit in the car if you have to travel more than 10 miles. To eat at this establishment, you must be a member of this cult; I've been going to this location for many years, and while today was the exception, the food came out piping hot, the service was actually excellent, I'll repeat the service was actually very good, and it was fast. They managed to get the order correctly, which is a rarity for this location. As any member of the Krystal cult, I'll be back enjoying the food I shouldn't enjoy read more

Food fair, music blasting so couldn't have a conversation, ignored when in need of a drink refill. I wont be back

Drive thru was busy but food was fast, fresh, and deliciously hot. Unsure if it's new management or I've tapped into the good streak but the past few visits in the past year have been better each time. read more

Food was ok, dining room was locked in our faces right at 9pm as we tried to walk in. Great confusion on the order taking at the drive-thru window, taking three efforts from scratch to get it right. Food was at least hot and correctly filled. Prices seemed steeper than the posted, as two snacks wound up 17-20 each or two people. It wasn't convenient, it wasn't cheap, it wasn't heartwarming hospitality, but at the very least, it was Krystal food that wasn't spoiled by half-@ssed effort by staff. read more

Terrible service. Extremely long wait. We are local and by far the worst of fast food options in town.

We were really looking forward to trying Krystals as we don't have it near us. Went in a couple of weeks ago, the smell was very off putting as if the place was moldy or something? The fact there was water literally streaming out of one of the ceiling lights in the food prep area was a really nice touch. Props to the young lady who was working through it while having water from an electrical light stream off her shoulder. We ended up leaving and never went back, nor will we. read more

Went there today 3/16/22 at 1.30pm the guy who was supposed to be taking orders just stood behind the register with a blank stare didnt ask me what I wanted for about 2 minutes after standing there I had to ask him if he was taking orders, he finally took mine and when it was ready he just drop the bag on the counter and walked away. so rude, no thank or have a nice day nothing. with an attitude like that this guy will NEVER MAKE IT IN LIFE. I will never go back because of this fool. The two older ladies one black and one white were the only ones actually working. Goodbye Krystal. read more

Krystal....you either love it or hate it! I, for one, love it! I like their little steamed burgers. They also have corn dogs, chili dogs, chicken sandwiches, and more. I like that the service is accurate and fast and the food is the proper temperature. I also like that they serve breakfast. There is plenty of parking and the store is usually clean, unless it is late at night. read more

Krystal was a staple of my youth. It meant that family fun at Busch Gardens was just around the corner. I had the joy of finally eating at one with my father nonetheless on Father's Day. We pulled up and waited in anticipation for the mini burg delight. There were about 2 groups of 3 in front of us. Our order came out in about 10 minutes. We got the 12 burger combo with drinks and french fries. It must be my little girl taste buds, but Krystal is nowhere near as awesome as I remembered. The burgers were rather bland and they were put together messily. The fries weren't anything special, either. I see why this franchise is slowly dying. Great to check out for the novelity, but not anything special. read more

This is my first Krystal I have been too and it was disappointing to say the least. The restaurant was dirty, ugly and in dire need of a remodel, it seriously looks like McDonald's from low-income areas did 10 years ago. The food was meh at best, I had a corn dog with small fry, the corn dog was lukewarm and the fries were bland and uninspired. the menu was small, there weren't enough healthy options, which is a pain since I don't like to eat fried chicken or fast burgers, I prefer to have grilled chicken and salads at these places. The only positives about this place were that, the food was cheap and the service was fast and friendly. I don't recommend this place until all issues are fixed. read more

This was my first time at a Krystal. This will also be a last time at a Krystal. The drive thru line and wait time wasn't bad. While waiting I noticed the cheese on their pictures weren't even melted. Not appetizing. When I got my fries I could tell they were pretty old and have sat out for a while. When I got my burger I took the top of the bun off just to look inside the burger. What I saw was a little amount of mustard, one pickle chip, onions which look like they were dehydrated and rehydrated again, and mystery meat which looked god awful. I have no clue what meat I just ate or why I even ate it. I'm not sure how these can even be called a burger. Disgusting. I wouldn't visit again even if I got paid to. read more

Awesome customer service. Quick order process time. I'd stop here again next time I'm coming through.

We were a little disappointed because the lobby was closed. Even more disappointed when we had to wait in the drive through for 30 mins (literally, not exaggerating) when there were only 2 cars. Then after waiting so long waited additional 6 mins at the window with it closed. Then after the worker opened the window coughed in her hand with her mask half down still had to wait for half the food. When we asked for 1 ranch and 1 BBQ, she looked at us and kind of snooty said well they are .25 each. We didnt say anything and gave her the 2 quarters but you would think after that long of a wait, which honestly was crazy, they could have just gave us the 2 sauces! I mean it's not like I asked for alot of sauces, just 2. I dont think I have ever waited so long at fast food. I understand they were short staffed but not the best experience. Food was good though read more

Trash. Never have I managed to spend 15 minutes AT A DRIVE THRU. idk who running this spot but they need some water

Food was decent. Wait time was horrible. We were in the drive through for 45 minutes. (There were only 5 cars in front of us) and they were exclusively doing drive through. They forgot to give us 2 items and at that point it wasn't worth going back through the drive through again to get them. Honestly will not be going back. I do recommend the icees though and the fries aren't half bad. read more

First time here, obviously no real management here. One employee was standing at the counter in her cell phone for 20 mins, they didn't have any salt (not that I really needed it lol), the employees are parked at the front door leaving only 3 parking spots for customers with exception to handicap. Dining room is dirty, needed swept, tables dirty. Won't come back to this location. read more

I do enjoy me some Krystals. Just one morning Inwent in and ordered Krystal Sunrisers, a breakfast sandwich but what I got was not what made me come to enjoy the Sunrisers in the first place. The egg to bread ratio was perfect with a thin sausage not to overwhelm the palate and a slice of cheese. Instead without any be being told they switched the thin slice of sausage with a big sausage puck overwhelming the sandwich, and the egg was just a small remnant throwing the egg to bread ratio totally off. It was BAD. I took a video and later brought that in and the matter was corrected by issuing a replacement of Krystals. Attached below you'll see what I should of received and what I actually received. You be the judge. read more
