In the Birmingham Area on 6/2 we stopped in for a few Krystal's.Very good,but what stood out the most was the service.The girl that waited on us was hustling from front counter to the drive thru while being very friendly and smiling.The girl cooking was working hard and had a rhythm going.She obviously knew what she was doing.She also was friendly and smiled.The store itself was clean including bathrooms and had been mopped.I put the date for the manager.Because of everything I mentioned,5 stars from The Working Man Review. read more

Stopped at this restaurant Tues 1/13/26 for lunch. Worst food I have ever received at a Krystal. The buns were soggy, half the meat was folded in half on the bun. Tasteless. From now on, if I get a Krystal craving, I will stop at WalMart and get a box of frozen White Castle burgers. One star because I could not select zero. read more

It was bad. We never even got to order food. We were in the drive thru line when a group of African American employees came outside cursing and carrying on. They used terrible language. I told my children people who talk like that naturally end up in hell. Customers were driving away. No one was getting waited on. We finally heard too much potty mouth foul words from the employees for the kids in the car and pulled off ourselves. We won't return. Came here to get my usual # 1. 4 Krystal's, medium fry and drink. I added a Krystal Chick and tater tots to my order. I wish I would've taken a pic out for almost $3 they only gave me about 5 or 6 tots. They were good though lol. The burgers were fresh and hot and so were the Chiks. read more

The first worker just stares at me when I said "good morning" and then looked to the other worker that was sitting g and looking at her phone. Very rude service. We asked about a meal that was offered and was told "sounds like you know it better than me." It took us 40 minutes to receive our food with only 2 cars in front of us. This is our second time trying this location and have had awful experiences both times. read more

The service at this location is very bad. I don't blame the employees. I blame management. The store is not run well. I've been back 3 times for my dad who loves Krystal. He'll have to do without it for a while. I placed a mobile order before I left work. 15m later I arrived. There were 6 cars pulled around waiting on their order. 15m later a few of the people went inside to find out what was going on. Person told them they were running the place and had two new people cooking. It was a mess. Not sure why they were taking orders, and money, if they knew they were understaffed. I had never been to Krystals before. My husband dislikes Krystal. So we were a perfect match. But we decided one to give a Krystal a try, so I could cross it off the bucket list. I got a regular Krystal and a chicken Krystal. The regular one was super dry and difficult to eat. The pickle didn't even help. The chicken crystal had so much mayonnaise that it was also inedible (for a completely different reason). We did also try to junkyard fries, which were by far the best of the three items. I'm not sure we'll be back, but hopefully others reading this review will know what to expect. read more

Stopped by here one night for a quick bite / guilty snack. I had some of the nachos, which were pretty good. I don't normally go for the crystals burgers, as they have onions, pickles, and mustard - all of which are negatives to me, and it's a lot to leave off. The staff at the drive-through were nice to us. The location is ok, but the window you get your food through is... odd/off. It seems like a relic from another time. Could use a remodel. Oh no, sorry food; horrible customer service. The menu prices for sackful items are over priced and unclear. Nevertheless, our experience from ordering to picking up food was all unsatisfying. Our Krystals bread was hard, our ranch was old (outdated) and opened. We weren't asked about our drinks until after going inside. The young lady at the register answered our initial question but later passed us off to the person who took our order. I've never been to this location but for sure won't return. Not to mention I'm pretty sure the manager on duty was present and never came to inquire about our problem. We ended up returning the food for a refund. read more

The lady brings out food to the window and we tell her when she gives us the food that it's food missing and the food is made wrong. She starts telling us in a RUDE way that they're not able to give us extras because of the shortage they don't have extras (So we have to take what they give us) and the whole time I'm like MA'AM I just want the right Food and my food that's missing! The customer service was nice but the food did not match that at all. The food came out under cooked (the Krystal patties were gray) and the cheeses was not melted on the fries. There was also grease leaking out of the bottom of my box of tater tots as if they were just dumped into the box. I went for something quick to eat before attending 2018 Yelp Games. The drive through speed was ok. I had a coupon and she forgot to give discount for my coupon. When I brought it to her attention, she immediately got the manager to adjust my price. It was done without any problems. What I did not like was that my buns for all of krystals were hard around the edges. The fries were fresh and the chicken nuggets have great bold flavor. Located near the freeway! And rheu have a variety of food! They are offering $2, $3, & $4 deals. Decent place to bring the family for a variety of fast food. read more

They young man I just encountered I could barely hear him speaking, he wasn't at all interested in being at work. Food was absolutely horrible. The worse $20.00 I ever spent. Fries were old, crusty and cold; Krystals were so cold that the cheese didn't even melt on them and was still cold; bread was hard and they were basically inedible. What a joke! Just went through the Drive Through witha "buy one get one free" coupon for Krystal Burgers. The *ONLY* stipulation on the coupon was that the free burgers must be of "equal or lesser value". I told the cashier about the coupon up front, and then ordered 6 Krystals with cheese. The obviously annoyed cashier said in a snarky tone "you gon' hafta pay fo dat cheese". I explained that the coupon had no restrictions on what kind of burger I could order, just that the free burgers be of equal or lesser value. The cashier didn't answer the question. She just told us the price and said drive around with an attitude. She runs my card. It declines. Then she yells, "Don't make dey food." First of all, it's their. Second of all, as soon as she ran my card, my credit card company texted me to confirm my card hadn't been stolen since it was being charged outside California. The "manager" not only come around the counter and got in my face threatening me physically and verbally, but the other employees did nothing. Great, clean location with nice people. For some reason most of the Birmingham area Krystals have somehow changed their recipe to a more dry bread, but this location still has that great soggy bread that I've come accustomed to for Krystal! Love this location and clean bathrooms as well! read more

The original burger on a roll was not amazing, but it wasn't horrible either. The fries were also okay. The chocolate milkshake is just as tasty as any other chocolate milkshake out there. The service, however, completely outshined the food -- the workers here are incredibly nice! They were so helpful, and made us feel at home. Incredible service here. read more
