Beautiful park that has little shops, concerts, events from summer through fall, picnic areas, restaurants, spectacular 4th of July fireworks Olcott Carousel park for children..overall nice escape and short drive to Niagara county.

Krull Park is a great place to go for a lot of different things. Our friends showed us the nature trail, and then we found out how awesome the walking area was. There are plenty of places to sit and have a picnic, have a gathering, or just take a nice walk to see the sunset. For years I always thought of the park being by the water, never thinking to look at the other side of the road. I love that it is one way in and out, so that you always know which way the traffic is going. I cannot emphasize enough on the space and how much room you have to yourself. It is neat to see the fitness portion while taking a walk, a splash pad for those hot summer days, and plenty of shade! I look forward to taking a walk there and enjoying the shops, food, and beach once everything opens up as the pandemic lessens. Truly love this new place to wander and explore!

My nephew has his birthday party here every year at one of the pavilions near the splash park. There's plenty of parking. There's a few playgrounds and of course the splash pad. The kids all love it here. It's pretty easy to find and a close walk around to Check out the lake views.

My husband grew up in Wilson, and our family recently moved to Newfane from Boise, Idaho where we lived for the past five years. I thought I'd miss the green belt of Boise, but this beautiful lakeside park is perfect. Not only is it lakeside, but that lake happens to be Lake Ontario. It has a nice playground with swings, monkey bars, winding slides and a rock "mountain" to climb. It also has an enclosed splash pad with a variety of features including water cannons. My boys were in heaven. There are also many large fields, big beautiful trees and a lovely view. It's just an all around awesome park for kids and parents.

Checking in is easy and you can buy campfire wood and ice from the main office, and they'll even deliver it right to your campsite which was nice because there was no way I was gonna be able to carry 4 bundles of wood ($5 each) on my bike. They do have a nice playground. Not sure if I mentioned that in my first review. This is a good campground for families. The only thing I negative I can say about this place, and it isn't even their fault so I won't deduct any stars, is that there's a dairy farm right across the street from the entrance out on the main road so if the wind blows just right you get that awful ammonia and poop smell throughout the campground.

Even though it was early May, and camping yurts and other things in park, weren't open, hardly anyone at park with it being offseason, we sure did enjoy the exploration of the park. Sadly we didn't check out the light house, as it was closed. The playground replica of the Point Light House was fun to go on, yes, as an adult, Ill admit we both enjoyed letting out our inner child. The nature trails may have been a bit muddy from recent rain, but easy to manage, recommend if you check park out after rain, wear hiking boots, or sneakers you don't mind getting dirty. Perfect for anyone whose a nature lover.

The loops are not wide streets and it was a little tight to get out of our spot with a 28' and extended cab truck. If there were another camper parked across from us we wouldn't have been able to get out. Laundry on site and the store had tons of snacks. Past the old basketball court (across from section D) is a wandering nature trail/Maze. Staff that we interacted with were friendly and quick. Really quiet and peaceful place to stay for 2 weeks. Walmart is within 20 minutes if you need anything. Check out the Circle R farm store right down the street, too!

Plus camping is offered for people who want to make a weekend of it, a marina/boat launch, and lots of spots for fishing. Both disc golf courses are well kept with excellent signage and tee pads. They even have marks for the red tees which most courses ignore. There isn't much litter around either, which is either a testament to the park staff or a sign of how underutilized this park is. Either way, be sure to pack an extra layer of clothing in the car. We visited and the air temp a few blocks away from the park was 80 degrees. But at the park itself it was only 50. The breeze off of Lake Ontario can be very chilly!

Thrilling attractions and interactive exhibits, riverfront hiking trails, and delectable dining options. While I was here, I spent time exploring many of the trails throughout the park with gorgeous views of nature that was well maintained. The park has amazing views of the falls. I participated in the Cave of the Winds experience where I descended 175 feet into the Niagara Gorge and feel the water flowing off the Falls from the Hurricane Deck. I got a ticket to the Niagara Falls State Park Observation Tower where I saw the only panoramic view of all three cataracts that comprise Niagara Falls, including the American Falls. I ate at Top of the Falls Restaurant that offers American-fare lunch and dinners and a panoramic view of the Falls. You can access The Maid of the Mist boat tour in Niagara Falls, N.Y. From the park. I did not purchase tickets for this experience since I rode the boat on the Canada side. I spent almost the entire day here and could have spent even more time exploring the trails and the Schoellkopf Power Station ruins site if I didn't have a time restriction. Definitely a must see natural wonder.

In fact, if you are a nature lover, you are going to enjoy this place so much more than you will the more heavily landscaped walk on the Canadian side. There are more trails here, more places and opportunity for a quiet walk, and other than right in the thick of it where most people will congregate for a falls view, it can be quite peaceful. The walks are all in good condition, and the park is clean. The parking is a fair price of "admission" to the park and is convenient to most of it. You'll still find plenty of wooded area and small wildlife to observe. There is of course a more tourist catering section around the main falls with food and gift shop, as well as kitschy things to stick you head through and take pictures. All in all, it's a nice place to spend a couple hours.
