Breakfast burrito with veggies, great vegetarian option

Cute lil place, we spotted by on a Saturday for brunch and there was no wait. They have multiple rooms, an upstairs and outdoor seating. The waitress was very kind and our food was amazing. I recommend getting the mimosas flight if you are coming for breakfast.

Delicious, fluffy stack of pancakes with maple bacon whipped butter. So good! Cane with a side of fresh fruit.

We had a great experience at KRO's to celebrate a birthday. We needed a location that would take a reservation for 8 people that was a good central location between Boston and Western Mass, and this was perfect. The space and atmosphere inside the restaurant is cozy and welcoming, as are the staff. Our waitress, Sheena, was very friendly and patient with us the whole time. We brought our own cake to surprise the birthday guy, and she kindly helped me hide it and brought it out when it was time for dessert. Half our table ordered pancakes and they were delicious! I highly recommend the maple bacon whipped butter because that is just something you don't see on a menu everyday. The other yummy plates on the table were the Hungry Man plate (eggs cooked perfectly sunny side up - really good potatoes!), the crispy fried chicken sandwich, and the chicken wrap (not photographed). It is a beautiful drive along route 2 and they have picnic tables outside for a sunny day. Great selection of drinks and we took home a couple of their handmade blueberry pop tarts to enjoy later. So happy we found this gem of a restaurant!

    Shrimp Special

Food: I order the shrimp special of the day. Service: Before I ordered I asked the waitress what kind of sauce was on the pasta, she said "a cream sauce ". When I received it, it was very dry and not very flavorful. There was no cream sauce, just a light coating of sun dried tomato oil, no garlic. I mentioned this, but didn't have her bring it back as we were in a hurry. My friend enjoyed the turkey panini, Ambiance: My friend and I were seated in the patio room, it was crowded and very loud. We usually sit in the fireplace room. We did ask to be moved, but there were no tables in the fireplace room available. We usually stay for coffee & dessert, but it was too noisy. I did buy a whoopie pie "to go". I was disappointed in my meal, based on the "cream sauce" that I was told would be on this dish. I would have spent my $17 ordering something else had I known there would be no sauce. Prices reflect the current state of the economy, around $17 - $18 for a sandwich or lunch portion entree. I've been here many times and had a great dining experience. Overall, it is definitely a restaurant worth checking the drive, the food is all made from scratch.

There were a few food options if you like basic breakfast. For the almost 5 stars that KRO has, I thought there would be an impressive selection. It was an okay breakfast. The service was great and someone came to help serve us immediately. We were greeted politely at the door. It's definitely a small and cozy place. If you are a person who enjoys a simple breakfast, this is the place for you.

Breakfast Burrito with Chorizo and Bacon (with a side of white toast and butter)

Definitely surprised at how great this place was. I got peached ice tea and it was actually homemade with fresh squeezed peach. The classic benny was light and fresh. The sauce was mostly foamy and a very small hint of lemon... not much flavor but surprisingly good. The english muffin was fluffy and homemade. The only downside were the homefries were waayyy too salty and over seasoned, but cooked tender. The breakfast burrito was HUGE and my partner couldn't even finished it and he loved it. Toasted Bread was freshly baked and toasted perfect. The hot sauce tasted like a sun-dried tomato sauce, it was delicious, but definitely not hot at all (and Im a baby when it comes to spice). Bill only came to $28 and we were stuffed! Spaced out seating. Now serving inside as well.

    Ricotta Flatbread

Everything was so good! The service, the food, the drinks & the ambience. Love the rustic look. We sat on the porch & even the floor design was beautiful. Had the fall margarita which tasted wonderful!! I had the ricotta flatbread & would definitely get that again! Also tried the lemon blueberry brioche French toast. Couldn't believe the size of the serving. Both meals looked amazing! The guy at the next table asked what the French toast was. He was like what is that?? Very impressed. We also got 2 chocolate chip chai cookies to go. Definitely should have gotten a few more of those!! It's about an hour ride for me to get to KRO's but I will take the trip just to eat here again.

Gardner Ale House at Moon Hill Brewing gave us a nice evening of good music, cold brews, good food,…read moredollar oysters! (Apr 2026). We came here to try out their Monday Blues, and happened on their Monday Buck-a-Shuck oysters! We found a long room with over 70 seats set up at tables for four that looked combine-able, about 20 seats at the bar and at 2-seat hightops, both rooms with a wall of windows. The band set up in the bar window, but sit where you like, we found that we could hear the band everywhere! There's also a small enclosed outdoor patio with about 30 more seats at umbrellaed tables. The Jim Atkinson band is a foursome of Boston-area musicians that has been cranking out great blues, rock, & roots since 2017. We loved them, especially enjoying the creative keyboard and a real live sax! Their music selection was amazing, more their favorite solid blues than old-standbys, so we didn't recognize every song. But that's real music :-) The $1 New England oysters were big and juicy! They started at 4pm before we got there, and they still had plenty for us after 7pm! They say the variety changes with availability. These were not overly salty. This was dinner for us, and we started with their hot-skillet "Mexican Corn Dip" with zingy pico de gallo salsa and fresh crisp corn tortilla chips. We got a "warm energy" bowl of quinoa, fresh tart cranberries, baby spinach, roasted sweet potato, and goat cheese, flavored with some scallions and garlic-butter. Huge, delicious, and very satisfying! The Fish 'n Chips was a full-foot-long full of their own Moon-Hill-beer beer-battered haddock, piping-hot fries, fresh crunchy coleslaw, with tartar sauce. Yep, Huge, delicious, and satisfying! We tried their parmesan-garlic wings, but that wasn't our favorite. They were ok, but not crispy which we expected. Came with crunchy celery and creamy bleu cheese. Of course we leaned on their in-house Moon Hill brewery for several dry IPAs, their luscious Candy Mountain blueberry sour, (which could have been colder), and a very tasty non-alcohol Blueberry (Not)-tini, a bubbly beverage crafted with "Reàl Blueberry Purée", fresh lemon juice and lemonade. This is a nice community bar, brewery, restaurant, and patio. We are already looking forward to their big Octoberfest!

I ordered the gluten free Red Apple Farm Cranberry Hard Cider Cider - Other Fruit * 5.7% ABV 16oz Draft $8.50 - 12oz Draft $7.75. Which I enjoyed because it was not too sweet. For our APPETIZER we ordered the Barbecue Pulled Pork Bruschetta Brick oven garlic bread, house made slow roasted pulled pork, bacon crumbles, melted shredded cheese. Drizzle of house made white barbecue sauce, scallions $16.00 and it was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere here was calm and casual.
