My clothes dryer developed a loud squeal suggesting a bad roller. Unit serviced by ATS…read moreMcMinnville. Rather than risk another part soon developing a similar problem I had "Sam" replace ALL rollers. I paid $462 for this work. Sam left without running the dryer to show it was fixed. When I next used the unit, squeal was gone but there now exists a Loud thumping sound, as if hitting the cabinet rapidly with your fist. It's loud enough to be heard across the house. I complained, requested repair; Sam returned days later...but rather than just FIX the problem, he spent ~ 30 minutes trying to talk me out of wanting the noise remedied. The machine went unfixed...Sam promising a "warranty". Granted the loud thumping subsides after a few minutes of running but it is NOT normal. If a dryer made that noise on a showroom floor, nobody would buy it. Clearly the noise DOES bother me and I wanted it fixed as soon as I first heard it when service was done in Sept 2025. Instead after paying $462 I got a repairman trying to talk me out of him just fixing the problem. Definitely Unhappy, I curse ATS every time I start that dryer. I'll never hire them again. Beware.

He noted the serial number of our machine and showed up with the replacement part, along with his son Dylan, who is in training to take over the business one day. Repair was done in about 20 minutes. Even got a few free fridge magnets too. Quinn suggested we get our dryer vents inspected and cleaned. Gave us a local recommendation that we will most likely use. Communication and customer service was excellent. Always best to go with local and family-owned and operated businesses. Top notch from start to finish. Will use again when needed.

They did have a pretty wide selection and the gentleman who assisted me was very nice.

The employees were busy but were able to deftly serve us all. I told them what I was looking for, and they didn't try to upsell me. Then they offered to put it together for me and discard the packaging so I wouldn't have to deal with that process--no extra charge. A quick price comparison online shows I got a fair price, and the best part was I knew when I walked out that the vacuum would work for me. I also know where to go if I need it serviced! Finding the appropriate individual to deal with these built in units and shut off the line at the source, which is behind the units in the wall, was a challenge. Jeremiah was very through in his approach to pulling the unit away from the wall with no damage to the hardwood floors and capping the line at the source so that there is 100% assurance that it can't leak. We tried a bunch of places and no one could come until Friday at the earliest (it was a Monday). We called AA Appliance Repair around 1:30 PM, and Abdul was here by 3 PM. He quickly figured out the issue, got everything back up and running, and even showed me how to reset the fridge for the future. Total cost was $180. May seem a little steep for just a reset but for us... it was completely reasonable for the speed and service. Abdul saved the day and taught me a thing or two about my fridge. He waited to make sure the fridge continued working, took temps and was in his way as quickly as he showed up. If you need appliance repairs, don't hesitate to give them a call.

After leaving Stark's Vacuums being told my vacuum which i originally purchased from them 9 years ago was for the landfill, with no referrals to any other repair shops, but an offer to dispose my machine for me 'free of charge,' my persistence in locating another shop that could replace the plug (due to a loose prong) led me to S & L Four Seasons Vaccuum Center! Not only did he replace the plug within the few minutes I was standing there, he offered to clean my machine/intake accessories and check the filter/motor (which I was told was 'on its way out'). I returned the next day to learn not only was my motor in great condition but i did not need a new filter for some time. He even went as far as to say that when a new filter was needed I would be best served to purchase one online because I could get it cheaper than he would if ordered through his channel. My day felt better than I expected having discovered Steven and his gem of a business! I went in with a need and was left in much better shape than I anticipated...in my pocket book, in my knowledge and self-help confidence surrounding my machine, and with a new wonderful connection made! Steven is a wonderful human being and a pleasure to transact with. I would highly recommend his work and business to everyone, especially if you seek a cool person that values skilled craftsmanship and maximizing our precious resources to save our landfills!

Only took a week to get the part needed and he came out and fixed it in less than 15 minutes. Excellent response time and customer service. 5 Stars - Ryan is on Speed Dial for a Reason…read more Ryan at PDX Appliance Repair is a good deal. We have a house full of 13+ year-old appliances that we're determined to keep running as long as possible, and this week put that goal to the test in a big way. Our dishwasher's heater broke, the fan in our refrigerator went out, a massive ice block built up inside the freezer walls and prevented the door from closing all the way, and our convection oven stopped heating after the kids went a little overboard with the microwave controls. Three appliances in one week. I reached out to Ryan during spring break to schedule repairs. He had taken the week off to spend time with his family, but he still called me back personally to make sure we were okay to wait. We scheduled the assessment within a day and completed all the repairs a few days later once the parts arrived, which took less than a week. We paid half up front and the remainder when all three appliances were fixed. We are so grateful. There's something worth saying about the trust factor here. Letting a stranger into your home means showing them the layout, who lives there, and making your family vulnerable in a real way. We trust Ryan completely. We can leave him working in an empty house without a second thought, and he always gets the job done. One more thing worth mentioning: we also purchased a rebuilt washer and dryer from the 90s through Ryan a year or so ago. Our thinking is that older machines can be repaired indefinitely, no planned obsolescence, no need to ever buy new again. They ARE loud, but they handle massive loads of laundry and linens without issue. If you're in the market for a refurbished washer and dryer set, it's worth giving Ryan a call at 503-853-5784.
