South Metro Custom Remodeling

Adam and South Metro Remodeling finished our basement for us. We had a pretty strict budget, and it…read morewas not as abundant as some of these photos he shows on here. We just wanted to finish our space, nicely, to have more room for our family and our kids' friends to hang out. Despite it not being Facebook-worthy, Adam treated us as if we were his most important customer. His communication was frequent and thorough, and we always felt like we knew what was going on. The guys he used were prompt, professional and courteous to us and our home. He was always willing to take our call or email, and immediately fix any issue (they were small and infrequent - to be expected on a major construction project) without complaint. My husband is handy and we wanted to do some pieces of the remodel ourselves. Adam completely understood that and worked with us on that to ensure we stayed on budget and on schedule. I have nothing but the highest praise for Adam and his team, and would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking at contractors.

From the start of the project working with President - Brian Gergen, to the day to day communication with Project Manager - Josh Dahl, the support staff and sub-contractors, all the way to the finished project, we had a great experience. Everything went incredibly smooth. It was our first time using a contractor for a major home project so naturally we were a little skeptical. The communication and responsiveness to executing our requests was outstanding. Any issues that came up were quickly remedied and handled appropriately. We debated on taking on this project ourselves however quickly realized out timeline would get pushed way out. We spoke with several contractors, but could not have been more happy with our decision to go with Bellepar. We would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering any major home projects.

Danberry Building

Everything went professionally well…read more Not a major renovation, really, just some bathroom and hallway closet stuff for more room, bigger shower stall, that sort. They came, measured everywhere, scoured blueprints, suggested this material and that, quoted a price and time estimate. All sounded on the up. Green lighted it. Work completed as promised. Room now for all my linens, got a cozier shower stall. The floor's even still even. Would recommend and would use again, should I have another project.

I had seen Danberry Building/Excelsior Design signs in the Minnetonka area for years and within minutes of meeting Jeff and his contracting team in person, I knew I liked them and that my project would be in good hands. Jeff and his team were extremely knowledgeable and insightful discussing my vision to expand my 1920's home with the goal of making the indoor and outdoor space more useable while maintaining its character that I loved so much. Now that the project is complete, I have 3 beautiful new rooms that look like they've always belonged there (a spacious formal entry, living room with custom fireplace & beamed ceiling, and a stunning walk-in pantry). Jeff's team also transformed my steep hillside landscaping (that was once very uneven) to include an amazing stamped concrete patio. Throughout the process, Jeff was always readily available to answer questions, stopped by to ensure things were getting done on time, and most importantly - he made sure that I was happy with how things were progressing. I was extremely impressed with his talented crew who worked non-stop all winter (and during one of the snowiest seasons on record in MN), not only did they do an incredible job with the new additions, but they were also so helpful with decisions, very kind, and always kept me informed of next steps. I am so happy to have chosen Danberry Building Corp and would definitely recommend his team. ~ Gabrielle (Galpin Lake area)

I was told in the initial meeting it's a $400k-$500k project. How? This makes abdolutely no sense. I was told the dormer (4ft by 3 ft) with the 2 bathroom redo's was $250k. Two 6ft by 9 ft bathrooms. Then the mini split (5 heads) and closet and 7 new doors and paint and other work would be another $150k plus. How? There is pricing for a margin and being greedy. This is just greedy. Hard pass and they should be embarrassed.

We appreciated working with Ben throughout the entire process from sales to design and through the construction. We are thrilled with our new kitchen and can't imagine ever using another contractor.
