I hired them to remove and replace baseboards and door trim through Home Depot's Pro service. They double-booked the day my project was supposed to start and instead of rescheduling (which I offered), they sent the owner's brother-in-law - who doesn't even work for the company - into my home. He caused damage, and the work was sloppy and incomplete. The workmanship was terrible: - Boards weren't nailed securely - Large gaps between baseboards and walls - No caulking at seams - Only some nail holes filled - Some corners are mitered, others aren't - they're just boards stuck together for an unfinished, inconsistent look - They skipped spray painting the boards (as outlined in the contract), left several unpainted, and only painted the front face of others. After several text messages with Adam around my disappointment with the incomplete and sloppy work, they did offer to come back and fix things (contract has a workmanship guarantee) - but at that point, NO THANK YOU. The trust was gone, and I wouldn't feel comfortable letting them back in my home. I will likely have to rip half of it out and hire someone else to redo it - leaving me out a significant amount of money, and they don't care. The fixes were made to some of the other work as it was done right the first time and this team made it seem like we should be happy they gave us something for free for it..some bracket for the gutter. There were times when -and I do understand family things that come up-that communication and follow up were awful. Lucky for us my husband works from home and can flex his schedule.
