Everything from fruits to veggies to packaged foods looked fresh and we did purchase quite a few things. Since we usually shop at Nino Salvaggios, (which we really like a lot) it was an easy comparison between the two. Randazzos carries a lot of products that Nino's doesn't and vice versa. So it was nice picking up some foods that Nino's doesn't have. One thing that stands out not only here, but anywhere is the friendliness of cashiers (or lack of). Nino's cashiers are time and time again much friendlier and something as simple as that is what a customer remembers and keeps them coming back since it's the last interaction with the store as they exit. I may still shop here occasionally though because it's closer to home, but it won't be my first choice.

This location is easy to find off of I-94 on Gratiot at 23 Mile Rd in Chesterfield. I've always shopped at the Hall Rd. location but since I've become a "regular cruiser" with my shopping errands on Gratiot near 23 mile for other great new stores, I do like this store with its appearance, layout and happy employees. In conclusion, I found my 2 items quick to check out so I could get back on the road for home. Note: It is wise to sign up for their postal mailing for advertisement sales as well as emails for alerts to up coming sales. I can always shop the day of a sale by receiving their sale ad in the mail:) My check employee was Sharon who was nice to ask about emailing and if I wanted a box to carry out my 2 purchases and thanked me for coming in to shop.

More of a Market Fresh type thing? They care the staples here, like produce, wine (great selection by the way) food, and some minor household and pet items as well. It's nice if you just need a few items and the selection here's great. Most of the registers are self check out and I saw one with a register lady for those who may have a lot of items. Or, if you're like my mom, refuse to use self check out and go through a line with a person instead. Parking is good and it's in a shopping center with restaurants and a few other places. My only complaint is making a left out of here is impossible especially during rush hour or any busy time for that matter. I do miss Hollywood Market, but appreciate the smaller, less insane Meijer for basic items, especially if the weather's poor, or I'm in a rush.

I'm the biggest proponent of shop small, shop local and while this store is about an hour from me, it's only 8 minutes from my boyfriend's house so I can shop here and take it home when I head back there. Considering Meijer is on my way home, I never seemed to make it up to the Foodland. I am bummed that I didnt until recently. Just before Thanksgiving, they had prime rib for $6.99/#. The meat was beautifully marbled with little fat surrounding the roast. While there, I looked at a couple other pieces of meat and ended up purchasing their breakfast sausage (which was perfectly seasoned!), and their strip steak. The quality of the meat was very good! I also purchased some fruits and vegetables to go along with the meals. Everything was fresh and reasonably priced! While there, I also picked up some beer. There was a really nice selection with a walk in fridge! Based on my initial positive experience, I have been back multiple times and have been pleasantly impressed! This is my new go-to market!!!

So Congratulations Aldi for another successful supermarket and A One Year Anniversary! This location offers: Curbside Side Pickup and Delivery. To name a few popular necessities they stock Organic food and products along with Great Produce and a variety selection of Frozen Items. The store is located near Five Below & Ashley Furniture stores. Hours: Monday through Sunday 9 AM - 8 PM... Closed on Holidays Love the Self Scan & Check Out and Helpful Employees and Manager who are always buzzing around stocking and working hard. The store is clean and items are a great value. There are two center aisles stocked with Seasonal clothing, toys, snacks, candy, housewares and holiday gifts when available throughout the year. Make sure you check out these areas weekly for something new on their shelves and "Happy You" will be to add it in your basket of shopping and saving money at Aldi.
