Im not sure why the employees issues are. There is only one cashier worker shes probably around her 50s usually cashier number 7 lane for today on June 29, 2029 around by 11 by noon. i do instacart and it can be a challenge it depends but i had 24 gallon of milk and some other products in my cart. so i went to lane 7 waiting for my turn until a person behind me telling me the milk is leaking so i had to step away to fix it and had to move out some milk cartons on the belt, i did forgot to tell the cashier its a insta cart order but i was busy handling the milk spill. as i fixed it and i told the cashier i had insta cart order and i was nice to her at first and i apologize she had to re scan the products until she gave me a attitude towards me. she tried to be an ass and scolding me like im a child bc she had to re scan which it was just 7 milk. as the cashier look at her helper tag teaming me that i was the asshole about it, so i don't let people be disrespectful towards me so i told the cashier their is no reason to have an attitude with me. and i did tell them there assholes in their face bc they were. i never call people that or not try not to be a karen but my rule is if your not showing respect then i wont either. if employees there cant stand customers or if there assholes then dont work in retail if you dont like it. read more

The grocery pick up service has become very unreliable. Multiple times recently they have had delays with their pickup time frame. This last time we placed an order and were told pickup between 6-7pm. I arrive at 6:30pm only to be told they pushed it back to after 8pm. No worries. I can come back. Then around 7:10pm we get a message that our pickup is ready. So we go back out there only to be told the system was wrong and it won't be available until the following day. Ok, I guess. I'm wasting a lot of time now. But they were just having a rough night. I get it. The following day I arrive around 1:00pm. The employee comes out with 1 bag and a gallon of water. A fraction of the order. I ask them where the rest of it is. He said someone put the rest of the order back on the shelves for some unknown reason. But they are getting it now...20 minutes and still waiting. ‍ Just as I was finishing this review Isaac came out with the rest of the order. They had all the missing items. He was super nice and personable. So just because of him it will take this from a 1 star to a 2 star review. THANKS ISAAC! read more

Cashier Jerri was very unhelpful and rude, had a problem with a visa gift card she was very short with us and very unhelpful, wouldn't even acknowledge her long line while we were trying to figure out how to use the gift card! Spectacularly bad service at the corporate level! My 4PM pick up order for Thursday wasn't ready until Friday. Sucks but I can deal with that. Employee breaks a milk carton inside my car requiring me to clean it and take the milk soaked items back into the store for replacement. Accidents happen I guess? Told by manager to go ahead and shop for my own replacement items and bring them back to the front of the store and no offer for handling the mess in my car. That was a bridge too far. If you cannot handle pick up orders, quit taking pick up orders. It's not fair to the customers OR the employees frankly. I do not blame the pick order staff or even the manager honestly. This is a larger Kroger issue. Unfortunately it means I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. read more

Where the heck is management to address the sassy, inconsiderate employees (a cashier with glasses & headband) who act offended if a customer asks questions. Please train your employees to get some people skills as it is very clear they spend way too much time having relationships with their phone than real people. AI and Robotics will be the way of the future just like self check out, so these under developed, lack of work ethic people will eventually be obsolete, then they'll scratch their heads wondering where all the jobs went. They don't accept returns without a paper receipt. Who holds on to paper receipts for the groceries? Any other Kroger that I've gone to uses your Kroger plus Digital receipt on the app and gives you a refund without a paper receipt. Wouldn't even do store credit. read more

Kroger built a new store in Troy a couple years ago. Having to been to numerous Kroger stores over the years, I'd say this one is easily the best one I've shopped at! Here's a few examples of some things this store offers: Fresh sushi Wine/beer bar Live music on Fridays Free snacks for kids Deli counter with Boars Head FM Jewelry Fresh bakery products, wide variety Great wine and beer selection 10% off 6 bottles of wine, mix & match Olive bar Salad bar Friendly prompt service. I shopped at this Kroger in Troy on 9/30/23 and had an experience with cashier CHEC 512. As I was checking myself out I loaded my bags in the cart as I filled them I noticed she came over and stood behind me and watched for a minute or so and when I finished and was paying the screen said call attendant and when she came over she was so shitty! She said you skipped bagging to many times look, look, look as she pointed out that i skipped bagging several times and I said I thought the whole idea was to put them in my cart since i scanned, bagged and loaded them and she had the shittiest attitude so CHEC 512 if you dont like your customer service job..stay home! read more

This was a nice place to shop. However, it appears in the past year things have begun to change and not for the better. I feel as though normal shoppers are treated as common thieves with newly installed m gates at the entrance. These gates only swing one way, so Heaven forbid you left your reusable bags out in your car. You must fight through the now throngs of bodies waiting to checkout in the self check-out lanes. Has it become impossible for Kroger to hired enough employees that are willing to stay longer than a month? Is your location no longer able to staff the proper amount of persons needed to open more cashier check out lanes. I am not the only one who has voiced, "I do not work here so I will wait." Oh, on that same not, yes, your customers are beginning to notice that your location is having an exceptional high amount of turning overs. People talk while waiting in line for 10 minutes wait on a register to open. Has Kroger stopped working with RTI and hiring baggers? I am wondering this as well because there never seem to be any available to assist with bagging. Leaving a person like me with severe disabilities of my own to have to bag groceries, lift them, and certainly not ask for any help out to my vehicle. I am honestly afraid to ask based upon the attitude of some of the evening management. I am not a "Karen or Ken or Bob or Betsy", whatever the slang is not for a rude customer. What I am or was is a life time patron of Kroger. Since I was a newborn, I have been a patron of Kroger with my parents in Cincinnati. We have lived all over the world due to my Husband's career and I still look for a subsidiary of Kroger. Kroger use to be the place to shop. It was clean, bright, stocked (Co-Vid, I know and understand), the employees enjoyed their jobs which in turn meant that the customers were happy. I have no idea what Kroger in Troy has done in the past year but a light has gone out. There are 2 other major grocery chains in our area that are cleaner, brighter, and have brought back their light. Maybe Kroger should find their leak and plug it before they lose more patrons. read more

Hot damn - this is a nice Kroeger! It's what Meijer wants to be, except that Meijers suck and this place doesn't. The store is huge - there's a bar, a full liquor department, grab and go stations, a giant fresh area, clothing, lawn furniture, kitchen supplies, a full pharmacy and much more. It's not a Wegmann's but it's as close as I've seen in the Midwest. The store is nicely out, clean and employees were helpful and pleasant. Prices are "ok" - the sale prices seemed to be on point but you have to sign up for one of their stupid cards to get them. Overall, I'd be in favor of Kroeger coming in and replacing all the crappy Meijers in WI. read more

I switched to Kroger from Meijer's. Really the only complaint I have is their customer service. Simply put. RUDE! I needed assistance in the self checkout. The female worker was completely Rude. I stopped shopping here back in November when they seriously dropped the ball on my son's birth.day accoutrements. I ordered balloon bundles and a marble sheet cake the week before. When I got to the store at the prearranged pickup time, the balloons were not ready and I had to wait 20 minutes. And they were expensive! We got the cake to the birthday party and finally cut into it, only to find a (maybe) 1/4 in layer of chocolate on the bottom of the cake, the rest of it was vanilla. I felt like they scraped out the chocolate bowl into the sheet pan and called it good. When I contacted the store the next day, they gave me the canned response of "you can return it for a refund". Whaa??? Whatever. I like Meijer better anyway. read more

Starbucks? No, this is definitely just a Kroger that happens to brew Starbucks coffee. Weak coffee makes for a very pissy man. I like strong coffee. I must say, though, at least it wasn't rancid or bitter. I guess even finding a place that brews a cup of Starbucks in this part of the US was a stroke of luck. I love Kroger and think they have great produce. However, this store is out of everything all the time. Examples: Romaine lettuce, tea, Panera Dressing, and spinach these are just some examples. I like Kroger's, because they have specialty items that the other (retail chain) grocery stores dont have. This place is always busy, and unlike wal-mart - they always have plenty of lanes open too. Very nice Wine selection, produce is always fresh and seemingly larger then wal-mart. The deli is nice, bigger seafood selections, breads, salad bar.... they also have a Starbucks inside if your into that. Make sure you get the Kroger card... after $100 bucks of groceries (not including smokes or alcohol) you get 10 cents off your gas at the Kroger gas station for the current month. read more

The "new" Super Kroger Store is awesome, well arranged grocery store. BUT when it comes to eating at the different places inside this Kroger, PASS the "Chinese food" area. We bought the General Taos with fried rice, , and the Teriyaki Chicken with fried rice. Totally NOT worth the price! The General Taos tasted like a bag from the freezer (per my husband) and the Teriyaki Chicken did not even taste like any Teriyaki was on it (plain chicken taste). This is the best Kroger in the Dayton area that I have visited so far. It has all the usual suspects (gas, Starbucks, etc) that is expected, but I noticed that their beer & wine sections are extensive and the fresh seafood section was large. The store was clean and the customer service was helpful. When I am up this way, this is the Kroger I like to go to. :) read more

Great that they expanded the store, went there for the first time today, the Growler station didn't have anyone available and they had to locate someone, when she arrived she didn't appear to be too friendly, when we asked her to rinse out the growler, she indicated they were not supposed to do that-we are supposed to do that at home, which didn't make much sense because they tell you not to Cap when you transport them, which could mean that materials could get in it as you bring it into the store. They also had wording on the sign about samples which could be construed as negative. Customer service is the key to anyone returning, so my suggestion would be to hopefully train the employees and those interacting with guest to be customer service focused friendly and smile for your business to grow read more

I used to enjoy going to Krogers, usually in a good mood but last several trips has left me frowning, frustrated and angry. Seems like some crazed notion has inspired Krogers to rearrange the furniture again, suddenly discontinue items and leave customers to "explore" usually on their own. A quick trip becomes excruciatingly extended and planned meals go awry without the needed ingredients. They did see fit to load the entrance with overpriced and oversugared cereal. Oh yes they care about us. Will drive a few minutes more now and go to Meijers and plan trips to Trader Joe's and have an enjoyable time at Whole Foods. And if you are looking for Hispanic and Asian foods go to a specialty grocery, you will save money and have fun read more

This review is for the pharmacy in particular. The quality of care has gone downhill over the years. Prescriptions not ready even close to being on time, sending a lot of acute prescriptions out for central filling (meaning an outside pharmacy fills it and you don't get the prescription until the next day), poor communication, etc. I say this as someone from the area, and as someone who actually worked as a tech in this pharmacy 15 years ago. I am surprised how people who answer the phone seem to have no idea what they are doing. read more
