Very disappointed in the bakery purchased I ordered and received. The writing on the cookie was poorly done. The blue icing stained skin, teeth and the countertop. read more

Kroger - Poorly written on the graduation cookie. They could have at least tried to center it and do better script. - Grocery Near Me - Swanton, Ohio

Classic small town grocery store. Food. Service. Ambiance. More things to meet the character requirement.

I have came to this Kroger since I was a little kid. In summary, for many many years. They have changed hands of course during those years but that happens all the time with stores. It is still a great location in swanton (as it is now I believe the only grocery store in town). The store is updated and the cashiers were friendly. There is plenty of parking and located right off of airport highway. Note, there is a great booze selection from beer, wine, and liquor. read more

The pharmacy drive through is ALWAYS closed and when you go inside, the line is insane. I understand short staffing, but when you have 4-5 people working and you force everyone to come inside, that's asinine. Elderly ladies sitting in reception chairs they dragged over to the line because they can't stand that long. If the drive thru was open, the line wouldn't be half as long. I personally don't have 40 minutes to wait in line with two kids .. I'm not sure who does. read more

Grateful for Kroger and their rewards. Don't advertise that you accept Apple Pay if your cashiers aren't trained on how to use it.

Kroger at Swanton is a local favorite of mine. I shop there several times a month and drive the extra distance to get there. I must rave about the Produce Section which I believe has the freshest fruit and veggies even compared to farmers markets along the road. Another kudos goes to the Meat Department since it's nice that I can have smaller packages wrapped with no problems if I choose. The employees there complete this review since I've yet seen an unfriendly face there. read more

I love this store, and The staff. Great sales, good customer service. I complained about them not having enough Gerber baby milk. They listen, and they are always stocked now. Just awesome. read more

This is the closest Kroger to my house since moving to Swanton, but not my favorite by any means. I like the less busy feel it has and the pleasant staff, but food choices are limited and during a sale or mega event the stock is always gone. They are always out of what I'm after! I am then forced to by the non sale item to make do which completely defeats the purpose of shopping here. The Sylvania Kroger on King rd is much much better. The deli area at this Kroger is sub par. Their choice of meats and brands offered are never my favorite. Again, Sylvania store is worth the extra 8 min drive for me to get higher quality meats and produce. I can't tell you how many times I have purchased meats here and put them in my fridge for no more than 2 days, only to find them dis colored to brown and smelly. We've returned a couple of them. It's like because it's a small community we get the scraps and sub par quality stuff. read more

Kroger's no longer. I have been a fan and customer at Kroger's for over 40 years. That stops today. For the first time Kroger's is testing/pilot at the Waterville OH. store charging customers 50 cents for debit card transactions. For a couple of decades Kroger and 5/3 bank were partners, you could bank inside a Kroger's store. What a great combination. I stopped at the service desk to explain what I thought about their .50 cents transaction charge. After waiting 5 minutes for the older couple to finish their expression of the .50 cent charge I left, they were still carrying on about the charge when I left. Believe me the .50 charge was the straw that finally broke this camel's back here. I already love/hated the Kroger rewards program. But think about, they know what you are buying and if you don't download their coupon sorry to bad for you. You can call their support to get it adjusted or corrected etc but you will wait on the phone for 20+ minutes. Stop the rewards program and give me and everyone else the sale price on the items of the week. Oh yeah those sale items forget finding them on the shelves. Too many times I go into Kroger Waterville not even caring if the item is on sale since I did not look but if it's on sale chances are it is not stocked. Finding one of the Kroger associates, asking them and get a response like oh that's a popular brand we are out. Seldom will they go in the back to see if there is some there. So Kroger's is tracking mine and damn near everyone else who shop there, you know its going be on sale and you run out of stock?? Again No Thanks Kroger stop playing stupid if you cant stock the back room or shelves time to find some new associates, I really don't believe its the associates its Kroger management either locally or in Cincinnati. Forget the damn gift cards and fuel points, you have to jump through so many hoops just to find a card and watch out if you just purchased a card those points are used first instead of the expiring points. Maybe when I retire and have more time to play your game I'll think about visiting you again. ENJOY your .50 today it is the last. I'll be sure to plan time to go to my bank get cash and head back to Sautter's 5 star from now on. read more

A great place to pick up a twenty-four pack of Angel Soft toilet tissue, a bag of frozen tater bites, and a fifth of Old Crow. They got it all, man. read more

This is my last trip to Swanton Kroger. I normally shop between Swanton and Defiance Kroger and am here around 630am but I came later so more items would be stocked. When heading to the check out there were no registers open at 8am?! As I did my shopping there was one register open, so I was confused. I asked the male worker if any registers could be opened since my cart was full. He said no, so I used the self check out. Many other customers were very frustrated and were also forced to use self check outs. Once all the scanners were filled with customers two women finally came over and told the male worker to call someone up. I've never seen such terrible customer service in my life. I'm also 39 weeks pregnant and had my two children with me while I'm have contractions (my due date is in 4 days). Whoever these three workers were, thank you for showing how much you care about customers (woman #1 long brunette curly hair, woman #2 older woman short blonde hair, male #1 older with pink shirt, tattoos, and thin eyebrows). I will now be shopping strictly at Defiance since there is always one register open and baggers to help pregnant women with their groceries. read more

Kroger - No registers open at 8am in the morning?! - Grocery Near Me - Swanton, Ohio

This place is awful. Once again here I am on a Saturday trying to shop and so far today they are out of spicy sausage, lunchables, pork roast, and who knows what else. Management needs to be replaced. You suck Kroger! read more

People drive too fast in the parking lot, some have even been hit! Then you go inside to find many items that are just about out of date, like at Walmart's. I don't want to get home to find in a day or two I have to throw out foods. All foods, breads, meats, produce and deli stuff. I have been a Kroger shopper +50 years, I am getting real tired of it and thinking of finding me somewhere else to shop. Oh and the worst was when I was loading my groceries and the store was busy, someone else was in line behind me and I said to the cashier, wow, I hate to load my stuff on this counter its so dirty and she snapped at me, said she had been to busy to clean/ wipe it and that I could of went to another register!!! Are you kidding me? With what I'm spending here you have a nerve speaking to me that way, just freaking rude. Go on home if you don't want to keep your register area clean and be pleasant ! Ya Know? Geesh read more
