They always have the best cakes already made. You can order one too. They taste fresh and amazing.
Suzy J.

I go to this Kroger all the time. Lately, my boyfriend has been shopping while I work. We love their amazing prices and food, as well as their fuel points for shopping here. This store is much bigger than the Kroger on 21 mile. There is always a lot of stock. I admit sometimes things are not fully stocked, but that happens on weekends. I feel like they have deals every day. Something different. Today, we got a birthday cake for my boyfriend. Other Krogers have far more cakes, but this selection was still perfect. I was so excited to find a chocolate icecream cake. It fits my boyfriend perfectly. Their cakes are always fresh and taste amazing. We buy their cakes for every event from birthdays to parties to gifts. Every time we send a cake to a home, they ask where we got it. We used to buy Vince and Joe's cakes, but we had issues a few times with them with freshness and taste. kroger cakes are moist, never dry or tasteless. Their deli area is pretty awesome. They have fresh items already packages or you can pick something out at the deli. Great option for work sandwiches. Today, cheese was 3 for $5, an amazing deal. They don't even expire until August. Another thing we get every time is 60 eggs which only costs $2.35. We go through them quick. Great source of protein. Perfect item for Easter if you celebrate it and need eggs. Cheaper price from other eggs and other stores. Meijer never really has 60 pack. Sadly. Their milk lasts way longer than Meijer and Target, and is cheaper. This Kroger has a lot of self-checkout lanes. They are pretty fast too. There is also a Starbucks inside. I love that I can buy a Starbucks while I shop, especially because I tend to spend over an hour at the store. I love shopping at Kroger because I can buy specific food items that are cheaper than other stores, and it helps me save money on food and gas. I love that their gas prices are already cheaper than competitor prices, and you still can save money. If you shop here, you earn fuel points, which you can redeem for money off gas.

Expired Oscar Meyer P3
Kayla L.

Everytime I come here, this is the closest one to my house, there is always, ALWAYS, something expired when I get home. They need to check their shelves more frequently because I just ate expired Oscar Meyer P3 for breakfast wondering why it taste like shit and what do you know.... expired on May 9th 2019 and I bought it on May 27th 2019... Thanks for the possible food poisoning that's going to come.

Empty shelves and now constantly emotional support

They're open from 6am-midnight. I don't know why wrong store hours are posted or how someone can fix that on yelp.

A really nice, organized, open aisled Nino's!…read more We don't come to this one much due to its distance, but the times we've come in here for specialty meats that are in stock at this location, it's been a really nice visit in here. It's a very large location, all the aisles are organized, and the meat counter is packed full of options!

Review #539…read more 2/28/2026 Today I can certainly update My previous review which was only for the sit down restaurant or cafe back on 3/29/2019. Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is My nearby and Go to store for many things from Fresh Produce, Flowers, Ready House Made Meals to Go, Popcorn, Handmade Croutons, Salsas, Wines and their decadent desserts to name a few of My favorites shopping items! This weekend was their Strawberry Sale .99 cents for a 1 # package, Garlic Bread for $1.99 and Mini Bay Scallops $8.99# that were fresh and easy to sauteed and bread bake. Upon Walking in the store stop and view the History Story of the Strawberry and trademark of Nino Salvaggio. Get your photo taking within the two cute figure Strawberry Statues. :-) Photos attached There's a cooler too with strawberry items on sale as well. I bought the strawberry fluff and Oh My Deeeelicious it is. After this review will be posted My many true, helpful and informative photos to assist shoppers as well. Nino Salvaggio has been in business throughout Michigan with many locations since 1978 with 4 locations and coming soon in Livonia on Schoolctaft. The Staff work hard every time I walk in restocking fresh fruit or vegetables that are higher quality than supermarket stores. The premade meals to go are reasonable price or weekly specials help shoppers plan their meals as well. During the holidays and sales they will email you the specials of the week so sign up for emails and then a customer will receive the special rewards price and also add to your Rree membership. In their newsletter will be the specials, recipes, and a story about a sale item which is good! The Bakery is always stocked with single rolls, 4 or 6 packs or dozen. Refrigerated desserts, shelf desserts or see Ann in the Bakery to order My favorite, single cannolis, eclairs, cream puffs or creme brulee treats. There's iskes of wine labeled by flavor to assist and liquor behind the counter. I shop here for Single or 6 packs of POLISH Beer is unbelievable! The pre-made soups, salads, pizza, pastas, and other meals are worth the taste after baking at home. I enjoyed the clam chowder soup this Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th of - 2 pints. The chowder had Great flavor like at a restaurant They even sell Safe Pet Calcium Chloride for the snow in the winter months along with different needed items outside the store under the building such as Spring Flowers, Fall Flowers and Holiday Items. The store areas are always clean and plenty of employees working hard to assist you when you have a question or looking for a item. Its a Family business where customers are treated as family too! Prices are slightly higher than grocery stores but its all about the hard work in cleaning, cutting and preparing the specialty meals, dishes, party trays, ready to bake entrees is what matters by freshness and packaging from the employees that enjoy their jobs here at Nino's. I glad to be a shopper here weekly for those special ideas and deals that help Me create and make my tasty breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoy My posted photos attached to help and assist future Yelp friends and shoppers decide what they want to make, and enjoy tasting with their creativity Cooking Skills! Smaczne ! Sincerely, Karen N. :-) Macomb, MI.

I'm a bit baffled by the level of vitriol for this Meijer. It's a friggin Meijer! It's not the…read morenewest but the recent remodel has it looking pretty decent. The Meijer on 12 Mile and Mound is definitely nicer, but this is not a bad place to shop either. This was the first Meijer I was ever in. My mom brought me and my sister here a couple of times, back before Meijers were all over southeast Michigan, even though it was a fairly long haul from the house I grew up in, over near 12 Mile and I-94. I was like "Wow! This place is like a grocery store AND a K-Mart, only nicer than a K-Mart!" Well, that childlike wonder has long since dissipated, but I'm still keenly aware it's really something we have these giant big box stores in this land of milk and honey and gluttony. Most of the third world would have their jaws on the floor at the sight of this retail behemoth. I most often come to this Meijer after a certain late night gathering over in this neck of the woods, so I'm spoiled with spacious, empty aisles, short lines and a lack of this apparent bad customer service I see people on here bitching about. Yeah, there's a major restocking project here and there, but that's to be expected in a 24-7 store, and I always successfully navigate it. No employee has ever given me attitude about needing a product right where they have their pallet/cart of stuff set up. They move it aside and let me grab what I need. Today I was actually here when that giant flaming orb was still in the sky, after going to a barbeque out in Shelby Township, and my shopping experience was still basically painless. Perhaps I have this particular location's apparent unpopularity to thank for it as it wasn't too busy at 7:30 pm. I just started using reusable shopping bags and every damn time I put a new one in the bagging area of the self-checkout, the register admonished me with that "unexpected item in the bagging area". When the lady stationed in the middle of 4 self-checkouts had to come give approval for the second time I apologized, saying somehow I only thought that might happen the first time. She told me to just put all the shopping bags I thought I might need there then, so the machine wouldn't summon her back over. The thing is, she just said it in a way like she was just trying to be helpful. It would have been really easy to come at me with a really weary, attitude laden tone where there was a silent "dummy" at the end of the sentence, but she didn't. And it's highly doubtful I'll make that same rookie mistake next time. I also forgot where I parked when leaving, as I'm so used to coming here in nocturnal hours when only one set of entrances/exits are open and leaving out of the other side kind of threw me for a loop for a few seconds. There's nothing extra special about this Meijer but I don't think there's anything extra terrible about it either. I do prefer it during vampire hours though.

Not a single spec of salt on them or anything at all. Just plain sheets. Even cleaned my pallet to make sure I could fully taste the bad product. You wasted my time, and my 74 year old family members time for a petty 4 to 5 dollars. Disturbed and Disgusted. Don't go to this store period. Avoid at all cost. Real rating is -9. Your Actions are disturbing and disgusting. Seek Help.

STAFF: CASHIER: Older lady, friendly enough, she wasn't rude. (I think she was a bit frustrated from her recent interaction with the "lead cashier" who was a blonde younger gal). OTHER (Stocker, Deli, Bakery, etc): No other interactions CLEANLINESS: All areas appears clean. BATHROOMS: Located in the back left corner by bakery. Clean and spacious enough. PRICES: Reminds me of Whole Foods = pricey. PARKING: Amble amount on their shared private lot. OVERALL THOUGHTS: Very cute & large gourmet market (key word is gourmet!). Lots of variety, plenty of food cases to choose from. VERY pricey! WOULD I RETURN? Yes, if in the area.
